12:02 p.m. – Caller reported a $12 SD card stolen from his trail camera on private property, 41000 block of McQueen. An elk carcass was also found in the area on land managed by Cascade Timber Consulting. The carcass had been quartered and carried out of the area. Information relayed to Oregon State Police.

4:17 p.m. – Deputy advised campers to vacate a site because they had stayed longer than 14 days, 49000 block of Quartzville.

1:27 a.m. – Jay Boyd Marsh, 54, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Cited and released.
3:57 a.m. – Officer located a male going through trash cans, 4300 block of Airport. Officer seized items for distruction. Male advised to get permission next time he decides to go through someone’s garbage.
4:38 a.m. – Jesse Jacob Garcia Ruiz, 18, cited for speeding, 44 mph in a 25-mph zone, 1500 block of Main.
8:50 a.m. – Caller reported a $900 check and other mail was taken from her mailbox, 200 block of Nandina. Report taken.
9:14 a.m. – Caller turned in a drug-like substance found in the parking lot, 1325 18th Ave., Sweet Home Sanitation. Property seized for destruction.
11:17 a.m. – Caller reported fuel taken during the night, 1000 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $25.
11:44 a.m. – Caller reported a female left the store without paying for items, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer contacted the manager, who wanted the information documented.
1:39 p.m. – Caller reported a motor home parked at a building she owns, 1266 15th Ave., old Wells Fargo Bank. Caller wanted the operator and occupants trespassed. Officer contacted a male at the motor home. The male was just parking in the shade for a couple of hours. He said he would move on.
1:40 p.m. – Hailey Elizabeth Farrar, 29, cited for failure to use seatbelt, Long near 15th.
1:55 p.m. – Dana Meacham, 44, arrested for harassment (domestic violence), 40800 block of Highway 228.
2:27 p.m. – Donna Ashley Lyons, 26, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
2:53 p.m. – Justin Ray Gomez, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Lebanon.
3:36 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole her phone, 13th and Kalmia. Report taken.
3:49 p.m. – Caller found a dog at large, 700 block of 29th. Placed in kennel.
5:54 p.m. – Genia Yvonne Ohalloran, 48, cited for driving uninsured, Long and 22nd.
6:56 p.m. – Caller reported a female came to his house claiming to be doing door-to-door sales, 2400 block of Long. The caller didn’t believe she was working for a legitimate business. Officer unable to locate female.
8:08 p.m. – Caller reported a rifle stolen, 1500 block of 41st. Report taken. Loss valued at $300.
8:11 p.m. – Caller reported two males and a female may have taken mail from a neighbor’s mailbox, 49th and Long. Officer unable to locate.
8:48 p.m. – Caller reported a dog barking for the previous hour and a half, 1100 block of Ironwood. Officer responded. Dog was inside the residence, and nobody was home.
8:53 p.m. – Elisha Marie Adams, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a peace officer, 1900 block of 12th. Caller had reported a couple of people who appeared to be heavily intoxicated and trying to get into a building.
10:15 p.m. – Shane Nathan Elder (Tucker), 38, arrested on Jackson County warrant for driving under the influence, reckless driving and misdemeanor driving while suspended, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:17 p.m. – Samantha Marie Pimentel, 43, cited for driving without a license, 400 block of Main.

12:06 a.m. – Caller reported a female stole several items then left in a pickup, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer unable to locate. Caller requested the female be trespassed if located.
12:34 a.m. – Caller saw a male try to steal items from his neighbor’s yard, 1800 block of Cedar. Caller chased him off. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate.
12:58 a.m. – Bryce Collin Spencer, 20, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on five original charges of second-degree criminal mischief, 2200 block of Cedar. Transported to Linn County Jail.
3:26 a.m. – Officer located a loose dog, 22nd and Long. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control advised.
5:23 a.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 26, cited for driving while suspended and driving with no insurance, 1800 block of Main.
7:20 a.m. – Heather Elaine Richards, 38, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of felony driving while suspended, fourth-degree assault and possession of meth; Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation; and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 900 block of Long. Cited and released.
7:59 a.m. – Ryan Joseph Hutchinson, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on two original charges of criminal trespass, Hilltop Market. Cited and released.
10:01 a.m. – Caller reported a male choking and hitting a dog, 1540 Main St., Safeway. The male left the area after people confronted him. Officer unable to locate a male or dog matching the description. Caller had no further information on the male’s direction of travel.
10:07 p.m. – Caller reported a loose dog chasing cars and cats, 1800 block of Ulex. Officer responded. The dog jumped back into its fenced area. No contact with owner. Business card left with a neighbor.
10:29 a.m. – Amanda Grace Howser, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County.
10:40 a.m. – Caller reported an unknown male threatening a woman with a gun at an unknown location, 1400 block of 13th. Officer contacted the caller. Information noted.
10:59 a.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 4800 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.
11:25 a.m. – Caller reported that a male who had been trespassed was at location, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.
12:05 p.m. – Cameron Michael Wark, 29, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on two original counts of possession of meth, 2200 block of Long. Cited and released.
12:37 p.m. – Veronica Sue Szuch,23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County.
2:23 p.m. – Caller reported a pickup had been parked for six months, 1300 block of Fir. Vehicle posted for removal.
2:27 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female panhandling and refusing to leave when asked, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer trespassed them from location.
3:27 p.m. – Caller turned in an infusion pump found at 12th and the railroad tracks. Item placed in found property.
3:48 p.m. – Caller reported someone putting nails under his tires, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Report taken.
5:05 p.m. – Caller reported his neighbor was throwing trash and other debris over the fence into his yard, 4500 block of Airport. Officer contacted both parties. The female neighbor claimed the trash belonged to the caller and she was throwing it back. Female warned for offensive littering.
7:22 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 800 block of 3rd. Officer was able to get the dog back into its residence with help from a neighbor. Owner warned for dog at large.
8:16 p.m. – Caller reported a cat was just hit by a car and may need to be dispatched, 100 block of Osage. Officer responded. The animal was injured but did not need to be dispatched at the time. Caller was going to care for it during the night and find a vet in the morning.
8:29 p.m. – Caller reported a male knocked on her door and asked if she needed her house sprayed for ants, 300 block of 16th. Officer unable to locate male.
8:49 p.m. – Callers reported people screaming and two males involved in a physical altercation behind Hilltop Market, 4836 Main St. Officer contacted involved parties. Verbal disturbance only. Investigation continuing.
9:01 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle had been parked for more than a month, 800 block of 12th. Officer contacted the owner, who said she would have it moved by the following day.
9:18 p.m. – Caller reported a stray dog showed up on her porch, 800 block of 5th. Dog placed in kennel.
10:20 p.m. – Alexis Morgan Bowers, 19, arrested for purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor, minor in possession of alcohol and second-degree criminal trespass, 1234 Main St., Frontier Lounge. Cited and released. Caller had reported a juvenile trying to purchase alcohol.
11:03 p.m. – Caller reported a female was in the parking lot harassing customers, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Female gone upon officer arrival. Caller wanted the female located and trespassed.

8:48 a.m. – Caller reported a person going through a dumpster and tossing stuff out, 900 block of Nandina. Male cleaned up the area and was trespassed from the location.
9:17 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of pills, 800 block of 29th. Report taken. Loss valued at $45.
9:47 a.m. – R.C. Phillips, 51, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Deschutes County.
10:04 p.m. – Caller reported that someone left a bag of garbage by a locked dumpster and later someone opened it and pawed through it, 1000 block of Nandina. Report taken.
11:58 a.m. – Caller reported that someone came into her house and took her purse, 4100 block of Main. Report taken.
12:40 p.m. – Officer located a bicycle near dumpsters, 1200 block of Nandina. Placed in found property.
1:26 p.m. – Keith Linn Flanagan, 46, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation and contempt of court and Benton County warrant for possession of methamphetamine and cited for driving while suspended, 2405 Main St., 7-Eleven. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a minor motor vehicle collision. Information exchanged. No injuries.
1:58 p.m. – Caller reported a phone stolen, 2295 Main St., Mobile station. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.
2:31 p.m. – Caller reported a male sitting in the flower box median, 1500 block of Main. Officer contacted a male who was waiting for a ride. The male’s ride arrived, and he left.
3:22 p.m. – Caller reported a female attempting to fight volunteers and then leaving, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Female trespassed from location.
4:24 p.m. – Caller turned in dogs found at the west city limits, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Dogs placed in kennel.
7:57 p.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 1200 block of 45th. Dog picked up by owner prior to officer arrival.
8:32 p.m. – Caller reported a dog barking for several hours, 1200 block of 41st. Dogs were barking on officer arrival. Officer attempted contact with homeowner. No one seemed to be home.
10:03 p.m. – Caller found a cat that appeared to have been shot, 900 block of 15th. Unknown who the animal belongs to. Officer placed the cat in a box for the time being and advised Public Works.
10:04 p.m. – Caller reported water gushing from the ground, 13th and Kalmia. Officer located a broken sprinkler. Public Works advised.
10:22 p.m. – Stacy Russell Jenkins, 17, cited for no license and driving uninsured, Country Lane and Highway 20.
