Sept. 23

12:52 a.m. – Caller reported she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report takken.

Sept. 22

12:30 a.m. – Linn County dispatch received a 9-1-1 call where the caller said to “come get” a specific male individual and then hung up, 400 block of Oak Terrace. Report taken for restraining order violation.

10:38 a.m. – Caller reported a subject against whom she has a restraining order violated it by having a third party contact her, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken and investigation continuing.

11:55 a.m. – Mark Daniel Guiley, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene.

2:20 p.m. – Caller reported someone backed into his vehicle, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Report taken.

5:16 p.m. – Caller reported transients camped at location were making a mess, 900 block of Main. Officer contacted a female, who was to clean up her mess.

6:12 p.m. – Caller reported a male lying on the ramp, 679 Main St., Samaritan Sweet Home Family Clinic. Officer contacted the male, who was fine and would be moving along shortly.

6:26 p.m. – Jay Marsh, 54, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Osage near 40th.

6:28 p.m. – Caller reported an aggressive great Dane in front of the caller’s residence, 1100 block of Mountain View. Officer unable to locate.

7:28 p.m. – Joshua Leslie, 31, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

7:32 p.m. – Callers reported a dog hit by a vehicle and the driver leaving west on Long Street, 1200 block of 43rd. Officer responded. Dog was injured. Caller took the dog to the veterinarian.

Sept. 21

1:25 a.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 26, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to renew vehicle registration, Sweet Home Sanitation.

9:01 a.m. – Jay Boyd Marsh, 54, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle, 41st and Main. Vehicle impounded.

10:14 a.m. – Caller reported a female walked out with a basket full of things, 2414 Main St., Dollar Tree. Report taken.

11:33 a.m. – Caller reported a male pushed her into a closet and left the location after drinking, 3300 block of Juniper. Officer contacted the male, who was not intoxicated. Report taken for harassment and investigation continuing.

2:47 p.m. – Caller reported people put two deceased dogs into the trash compactor, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Report taken for first-degree animal abuse. Report to be forwarded to the district attorney for review.

2:53 p.m. – Caller reported a van ran a stop sign and hit his vehicle, Long and 12th. Report taken.

5:51 p.m. – Marc Noel Osker, 62, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Albany.

7:27 p.m. – Caller reported a bow case worth $200 taken from his house, 28900 block of Weatherly Lane. Report taken.

8:19 p.m. – Caller reported a female was texting the caller’s friend about her and believes it is a violation of a stalking order, 1500 block of 9th. Report to be forwarded to the district attorney for review.

Sept. 20

12:39 a.m. – Caller reported someone was under the house doing homework, 1800 block of Cedar. Officer contacted the caller, who possibly heard an animal under the house, and was having some mental issues.

10:21 a.m. – Nathan Jonathan Robert Periman, 21, arrested for menacing (domestic violence), third-degree criminal mischief and interference with making a report, 3137 Main St. Caller had reported a male was out of control, throwing her husband down stairs and pulling a knife on him then threatening a neighbor and throwing a knife at the neighbor.

12:15 p.m. – Caller reported a ladder taken from a vehicle during the night, 1000 block of Vista. Report taken.

2:46 p.m. – Caller reported a great Dane running loose, north end of 2nd Avenue. Officer unable to locate.

2:51 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked on the side of the road for more than a year, 1000 block of 24th. Officer contacted the owner who was to work on getting the vehicle moved.

3:10 p.m. – Austin Ryan Hunter St. Martin, 18, arrested for coercion and first-degree sexual abuse, Albany. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:18 p.m. – Deputy located an individual camping along Quartzville longer than 14 days, 51200 block of Quartzville. Deputy advised him to vacate the camp by the following day.

3:54 p.m. – Deputy recovered stolen vehicle, 2000 block of Main.

4:45 p.m. – Caller reported a child bitten in the face, 300 block of Ironwood. Report taken. Quarantine order issued to the person in charge of the animal.

4:51 p.m. – Caller reported a homeless camp, Foothills and 27th. Office contacted a male and advised him of the complaint and city ordinance. The male was to pack up belongings and leave the area.

7:54 p.m. – Caller reported that a female who had possibly taken up camping in the back stairwell of the old City Hall, 1140 12th Ave., was yelling. Officer contacted the female and advised her to quiet down.

8:43 p.m. – Caller reported a line down. Off-duty Pacific Power determined it was a Comcast line and contacted Comcast.

10:56 p.m. – Caller reported that a female who had been hanging out at the old City Hall was on the caller’s property and cussing at the caller, 1000 block of 12th. Female trespassed from the caller’s property.

Sept. 19

2:36 a.m. – Melchizedek Douglas St. Hart II, 59, arrested on Douglas County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving while suspended, 3026 Main St. Cited and released.

4:37 a.m. – Nathan Daniel Brown, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Albany.

8:13 a.m. – Callers reported a two-vehicle crash, 3rd and Highway 228. Report taken. No injuries. No citations.

3:49 p.m. – Caller flagged down an officer for a loose dog, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Dog placed in kennel.

5:06 p.m. – Caller turned in a wallet found at 7th and Oak Terrace. Placed in found property.

6:25 p.m. – Vehicle towed for city code violation, 4000 block of Osage.

6:57 p.m. – Caller reported finding a long scratch and dent on his 2019 Buick, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Report taken.

7:47 p.m. – Caller reported a juvenile waving a machete in a threatening manner, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Investigation continuing.

9:11 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs running in the street, 1200 block of 43rd. Caller was able to catch one but not the other. Officer returned one dog to owner and warned the owner for dog at large. Unable to locate the second dog.

Sept. 18

12:14 a.m. – Joseph Lee Shores, 47, arrested by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass.

1:17 a.m. – Officer found a bicycle on sidewalk, 22nd and Kalmia. Placed in found property.

7:06 p.m. – Caller reported a dog whining all night long, 1100 block of 43rd. Caller walked over to check on it. The dog was tied up with no shelter. Three to four other dogs at location were not tied up. Report taken.

11 a.m. – Caller reported a female witnessed a male choking and hitting a dog, 1200 block of 40th. Report taken.

11:42 a.m. – Shane Wells, 43, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to report as a sex offender, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

12:11 p.m. – Louis Carreiro, 55, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance, 13th and Kalmia. Caller had reported a dog with a leash running loose continually in the area.

12:45 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his residence and money and a laptop charger were missing, 1500 block of 40th. Report taken.

1:22 p.m. – Karalie Stroman, 32, arrested on Brownsville warrant for failure to appear, 26000 block of Brush Creek. Cited and released in field.

1:45 p.m. – Caller found a wallet, 1203 Long St., All-Star Pizza. Wallet seized. Marijuana taken out of the wallet for destruction.

2:32 p.m. – Caller reported an ongoing issue with a pit bull charging at her and her dog, which she keeps on a leash, while walking past location, 3200 block of Juniper. Officer contacted and counseled a house sitter about the dog.

2:52 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of her grandson’s iPhone, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Loss valued at $220.

3:30 p.m. – Caller found a baggie with white residue and a straw, 4100 block of Main. Property seized for destruction.

11:06 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was sleeping at location and she wanted them trespassed, 1200 block of 15th. Officer contacted a female and advised her of the trespass.

Sept. 17

8:42 a.m. – James Eugene Mobley, 35, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Shutter Creek Correctional Institution.

9:13 a.m. – Genia O’Halloran, 48, cited for driving uninsured, 22nd and Nandina.

9:25 a.m. – Devin Swan, 21, cited for speeding, 50 mph in a 35-mph zone, 2200 block of Main.

9:37 a.m. – Caller found red brush clippers in an ally behind the 1000 block of 3rd Ave. Placed in found property.

12:01 p.m. – Andrea Gali, 39, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on three original counts of possession of methamphetamine, driving while suspended, three criminal citations and failure to appear and Lebanon warrant for probation violation on two original counts of driving while suspended, 1951 12th Ave.

2:01 p.m. – A 17-year-old had a gunshot wound after cleaning a firearm, 500 block of Mountain View. No crime. Male went to the hospital with his grandfather.

4:36 p.m. – Caller reported the driver of a red Corolla left without paying for fuel, 1306 Main St., Chevron. Report taken. Loss valued at $43.

10:05 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle was damaged and fuel siphoned, 1800 block of Cedar. Report taken.

Sept. 16

8:01 a.m. – Caller turned in a dog found in the area of 22nd and Mountain View. Dog returned to owner’s son.

8:33 a.m. – Mackenzie Thomas, 37, cited for failure to obey traffic control device, 1400 block of Long.

10:01 a.m. – Caller reported a suspicious package in the parking lot, 815 5th Ave., St. Helen’s Catholic Church. Officer responded. Officers disposed of item.

11:03 a.m. – Travis Gary Hummer, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving while suspended, Albany.

12:34 p.m. – Caller reported her car was vandalized, 1900 block of Willow. Report taken.

2:21 p.m. – Caller reported a small dog did not have shelter and was sitting under a truck shivering, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer advised the owner of the complaint. The dog had ade-quate shelter, food and water.

2:35 p.m. – Brezy Pitts, 41, cited for driving while suspended, failure to register vehicle and failure to carry proof of insurance, Sun Lane.

3:48 p.m. – Stacy Teixeira, 54, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear, 4639 Main St., Sweet Home Choppers. Cited and released.

3:59 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked on the street for two months, Fir and 16th. Vehicle posted for removal.

4:59 p.m. – Caller reported that neighbors stole his friends, 1100 block of Poplar. Officer responded and contacted a male who appeared to be hallucinating. He did not want medics to respond and was not a candidate for a police officer mental hold at the time.

6:50 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s mailbox was knocked over, 1000 block of North River. Report taken.

9:09 p.m. – Jordan Nicole Swanson, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of fraudulent use of a credit card, Linn County.
