Sept. 20

12:07 a.m. – Officer located Sammy Hughes, 19, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of theft and criminal mischief, and a Linn County warrant for meth possession.

8:52 a.m. – Officer attempted a traffic stop and the vehicle fled, 600 block of 3rd. Report taken.

9:56 a.m. – Caller reported neighbors are using a fire hydrant to water their lawn, 4600 block of Kalmia. Officer responded, haven’t removed the hose, but not currently using it.

8:05 p.m. – Caller reported a male laying face down into a tree, 1200 block of 12th. Officer responded, male was fine. Given a courtesy ride to the Church of Nazarene.

Sept. 21

1:37 a.m. – Corvallis Police reported a strangulation that occurred on the 1200 block of 44th on Sept. 20, and both the victim and the suspect are in the Corvallis area. Corvallis Police arrested Randall Mishler on a charge of domestic violence – strangulation. Lodged in Linn County Jail.

3:49 a.m. – Anthony Scott, 33, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Sun Motel, 3026 Main.

3:49 a.m. – Caller reported someone dumped used motor oil at the end of his driveway and left behind a pair of shoes, 300 block of 12th. Info noted.

7:20 a.m. – Caller reported items were stolen from their garden, 1300 block of Elm. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and theft. Vehicle entered but nothing taken. Item that was stolen was recovered.

7:41 a.m. – Caller reported unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, also on 1300 block of Elm. Report taken, no items stolen.

11:17 a.m. – Robert Edward Hilliard, 50, cited and released on a Linn County warrant for a parole violation; a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal citation- driving while suspended; and Sweet Home warrants for failure to comply on an original charge of theft and failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving while suspended.

2:07 p.m. – Caller reported a male came to their house and started threatening her husband, 1200 block of Nandina. Officer responded, contacted involved parties, male trespassed per caller’s request.

4:37 p.m. – John Pablo Scott, 30, arrested for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and theft, 400 block of Elm. Booked and lodged at Linn County Jail.

4:53 p.m. – Caller reported he apprehended a shoplifter, Bi-Mart, 1980 Main. Heather Mae Kelly, 41, cited and released for theft and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

8:46 p.m. – Thomas Daniel Elmer, 49, cited and released on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal trespass, 1600 block of Long.

10:51 p.m. – Corvallis Police located Jamie Elizabeth Geiger, 35, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft.

11:51 p.m. – While on a traffic stop, officer located Jacob Joseph Hughes, 22, on an Albany warrant for contempt of court and a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation, 18th and Vine. Cited and released.

Sept. 22

10:12 a.m. – Caller reported a student was dropped off by mistake and he is unable to contact their parent, 5351 Main, Main Street Market. Officer responded, contacted parent and advised her of the situation. Parent misunderstood schedule. Said she would find a ride and pick up her daughter shortly.

3:21 p.m. – Caller reported her neighbors keep cutting down her plants, 4100 block of Osage. Officer responded, contacted both parties involved. It’s a civil matter, and the branches that were cut were on the other party’s property.

4:48 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported a female called to request medics for a panic attack and then said someone was deceased at the location.

5:28 p.m. – Caller reported someone stole his dog, 2700 Foothill. Officer responded, report taken for theft.

6:30 p.m. – Caller reported a male at location tearing up trash, requested he be trespassed, 1200 block of 15th. Officer responded, male trespassed, will be packing up and leaving.

8:02 p.m. – Caller reported male going through trash cans in area, Airport and 43rd. Officer responded, contacted male, advised of law pertaining to behavior.

8:18 p.m. – Caller reported a male tried to steal her sister’s dog and threatened them, 44th near airport. Officer responded, interviewed caller, will try to locate male.

8:39 p.m. – Zachary Kempton, 28, cited for driving while suspended, 1500 block of Main.

9:37 p.m. – Caller reported a male parked a motorcycle at the Sweet Home RV Center, 4691 Main, and walked behind building. A different male came out and walked away with the motorcycle. Officer responded, contacted male that was at his storage unit. Shane William Wells, 44, cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to report as a sex offender, a Lebanon warrant for a probation violation, and an Albany warrant for contempt of court.

10:55 p.m. – Lebanon Police cited Christine Lorraine Reigstad, 53, on a Sweet Home warrant for criminal driving.

11:40 p.m. – Caller reported he hit a deer 20 minutes ago, it ran off, 4300 block of Main. Case number given, info noted, damage below $2,500.

Sept. 23

12:17 a.m. – Caller reported a male he has a restraining order against broke in the front door and is inside the residence, 1100 block of 18th. Officer responded, located male on traffic stop. David Lee Oviatt, 40, arrested for a restraining order, burglary, theft, and criminal mischief. Booked and lodged at Linn County Jail.

9:57 a.m. – Officer located KC Everette Merle Holt, 37, cited and released on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of criminal trespass, unlawful transportation of forest products, and meth possession, 1950 Main, SHPD.

10:35 a.m. – Rebecca Ann Long, 39, turned herself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of disorderly conduct. Cited and released at SHPD, 1950 Main.

1:07 p.m. – Officer located Heather Dean Church, 53, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal trespass.

1:22 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicles ran a stop sign and nearly hit her child, 4th and Ironwood. Officer responded, vehicle gone on arrival. Caller wanted the driver counselled, officer will be on lookout.

3:42 p.m. – Albany Police located Crystal Dawn Strickland, 31, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving.

4:45 p.m. – Caller reported vehicles unlawfully entered on 6000 block of Main. Officer responded, report taken.

6:15 p.m. – Caller reported a male banging on front and back door of location, 2400 block of Long. Officer responded, contacted male who just wanted a blanket from the location. Officer gave male a blanket, advised him he wasn’t supposed to have contact with the female per his parole officer, who the officer will notify.

9:05 p.m. – Caller can hear two males and a female outside yelling, believes they are intoxicated, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Officer responded, contacted male and female who agreed to keep it down. Roseanna Simpson, 51, cited on a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation and an Albany warrant for contempt of court.

Sept. 24

12: 03 a.m. – One caller reported a male chasing juveniles with a crowbar, two others reported a male chasing them with an axe, and one other called reporting juveniles had vandalized his property and he chased them with a “wrapper binder.” Officer responded, contacted all parties who gave differing stories. All parties counselled for their behavior. Report will be forwarded to district attorney for review of criminal charges.

8:15 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in a handicap parking spot with no handicap placard, 5300 block of Poplar. Officer responded, contacted owner who is moving vehicle.

10:13 a.m. – Brian Neal Clement, 49, booked, cited and released for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of a motor vehicle, 1200 block of 46th.

1:18 p.m. – Caller reported female who has been trespassed is at location, 621 Main, Thriftway. Officer unable to locate. Caller called again 16 minutes later to say female was still at location. Officer responded, Denise Rochelle Burrow, 53, cited and released for criminal trespass.

2:14 p.m. – Lisa Dawn Johnston, 45, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft, SHPD, 1950 Main.

3:31 p.m. – Benton County located Steven Edward Grimm, 50, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

4:54 p.m. – Caller reported his wife was hitting and kicking him; they both fell down and now she is yelling that he hit her, 4600 block of Main. Officer responded, parties separating, minor physical disturbance, no crimes.

5:24 p.m. – Travis Trent Stach-Sells, 30, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft.
