1:35 p.m. – R.C. Phillips, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, U.S. Forest Service. Cited and released.

2:35 a.m. – James Andrew Linder, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Salem. Cited and released.
11:57 a.m. – Joseph Rafael Gutierrez, 32, arrested on Oregon warrant for parole violation on a weapons offense, 2300 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.
2:42 p.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 22, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of hit and run, 12th and Main. Cited and released.
5:03 p.m. – Steven Andrew Williamson, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.
6:20 p.m. – Caller reported losing a ring in the area of 37th Avenue and Hawthorne. Report taken for lost property.
8:37 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject bringing in altered bottle return slips, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken for attempted third-degree theft.

12:03 a.m. – Caller reported a female pulling clothes through a cut screen in a laundry room, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken for burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
1:31 a.m. – Jonathan Travis Bishop, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, Linn County. Cited and released.
1:09 p.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to enter her home during the night, 1800 block of Ames Creek. Information noted.
1:15 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of medication, 2400 block of Long. Report taken.
11:11 p.m. – Ronald Jason Sweat, 41, arrested on Washington County warrant for absconding, 415 Holley Road. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:28 p.m. – Carl Edwin Steinborn, 18, arrested for second-degree rape. Transported to Linn County Jail.
3:46 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit in the parking lot, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.
4:44 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken. Loss valued at $50.
9:49 p.m. – Steven Scott Sims, 32, arrested for third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass, 1801 Main St. Cited and released. Caller reported he had caught a male taking items from vehicles.
11:30 p.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1200 Nandina St. Held for court.
Sept. 1
8:28 a.m. – Caller reported a bike stolen from near the wood shop, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $300.
12:46 p.m. – Caller reported that the landlord took caller’s motorcycle as collateral for rent when the caller’s daughter moved out. Now the landlord is trying to sell it.
4:02 p.m. – Caller reported that someone is calling him and saying that they are at his gate and if he takes one step outside, they will blow it up, 28300 block of Pleasant Valley.
3:15 p.m. – Caller confronted her neighbor and told her she needed to go to drug rehab. After the caller went home, the neighbor’s brother went to the caller’s house and started yelling.

1:41 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of personal property, the old mill site on Moose Creek.
3:56 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole deer antlers, 43000 block of North River.
3:35 p.m. – Caller said someone tried to steal his jeep. The ignition was damaged.
4:30 p.m. – Rebecca Leann Pearce, 46, cited for careless driving in two-vehicle crash, 60th Avenue at Foster Dam Road. Second driver was David Cory Wilson, 48. No injuries.
7:41 p.m. – Caller was upset because a plane was landing in the field across from his hous and cutting off the engine when it is over the houses, 42900 block of North River. The plane was red and white with no tail.
7:44 p.m. – Thomas Edward Light, 33, arrested on Lebanon justice warrant for contempt of court and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 26th and Long. Cited and released.
Aug. 29
8:43 a.m. – Deputy removed tree from roadway in the 27300 block of Riggs Hill.
1:38 p.m. – Caller reported that her stolen vehicle was in the 39100 block of Highway 228. Caller said the pickup used to be red.
6:38 p.m. – Caller reported finding drugs and pills that belonged to the caller’s father in a motor home that had been used by a nephew, 30400 block of Fairview.
8:50 p.m. – Caller said he was beaten with a baseball bat by a male subject who took off toward Cascadia.
9:41 p.m. – Caller reported looking at daughter’s phone and seeing underage kids drinking alcohol in a video.
Aug. 28
9:51 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s chickens have been tearing up her yard, and caller would like to speak with a deputy about her options, 30100 block of Fairview.
12:50 p.m. – Someone broke into a building, 29200 block of Fairview.
4:58 p.m. – Single-vehicle non-injury rollover reported.
8:06 p.m. – Caller asked for extra patrol in the area of Gilliland Cemetery because he believes there are people attempting to squat at the cemetery because the gates have been off.
8:10 p.m. – Caller said her mother believes residents in the 28200 block of Scott Mountain. may be mistreating their dogs.

7:55 p.m. – A four-wheeler was going up and down the public road driving very fast, 26600 block Rowell Hill.
Aug. 26
1:17 p.m. – Caller reported two horses that had no food or water and are extremely skinny, 37700 block of Northern.
2:20 p.m. – Caller thinks neighbor’s cow was shot, Old Holley Road in the area of Paddock Lane. Caller said there is a history of cows being shot at the location.
