7:18 a.m. – Caller reported vehicle was broken into in 47300 block Quartzville Road. Missing items included Yugo SKS, two Glock Model 22 magazines and stereo amplifier. Total loss estimated at $700. Report taken.

11:22 a.m. – Tcheche Yvet Troche, 41, cited and released on an Albany warrant for theft, 5200 block of Main.

11:35 a.m. – Caller reports a lawn chair was moved to outside her child’s room, 2200 block of Main. Info noted.

1:07 p.m. – Caller reported her shed was broken into, just wanted info noted, 100 block of 10th.

2:06 p.m. – David Paul Gruwell, 54, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal trespassing, and Albany warrants for three counts of criminal trespass, and consuming alcohol in a public place. Cited and released from SHPD lobby.

2:22 p.m. – Deputy contacted group that were riding ATVs on gravel county road, 44500 block North River Drive/Sunnyside Road. Verbally warned riders and sent them on their way.

3:38 p.m. – Caller reported a man trying to pry the window of a vacant building open, mill property. Officer responded, Daniel Ray Curtis, 46, cited and released for criminal trespass.

5:52 p.m. – Callers report female having ongoing mental problems, 900 block of Park. Officer responded, children will stay with other family members, other family will stay at location and attempt to stay separated.

September 1

7:15 a.m. – Caller reported a truck backed into a vehicle and left, 1500 block of Tamarack. Officer responded, info noted, vehicle has very minor damage.

10:13 a.m. – Alisha Larsen, 39, of Albany arrested on three outstanding warrants after traffic stop, 43200 block North River Drive. Report taken.

10:44 a.m. – Caller reported a RV had gas line tampered with and gas tanks were left behind, 4600 block of Main. Officer responded, info noted at caller request.

10:54 a.m. – Caller reported people fighting, 1000 block of 45th. Officer responded, contacted male and female who were advised of the complaint, they stated it was verbal only and they will keep it down. David Michael Russell, 39, cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

11:48 a.m. – Timothy Tyrell Combs, 38, cited on a Linn County warrant for a parole violation and a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation, as well as an Albany warrant for driving while suspended, 1100 block of Main. Lodged at Linn County Jail.

12:17 p.m. – Jennifer Lynn Reddell, 28, cited and released for fraudulent use of a credit card, 1950 Main, SHPD.

1:51 pm. – Caller reported their package was stolen, 900 block of Nandina. Officer contacted caller and advised them of their options. Info noted.

2:26 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office located Zachary Gene Johnson, 30, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft. Cited and released.

2:31 p.m. – Medford Police located Beau Ryan Hall, 25, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft. Cited and released.

2:58 p.m. – Michelle Leigh Melbye, 49, cited and released on two counts of theft, 1100 block of Poplar.

4:00 p.m. – Caller reported a male with a truck and trailer damaged the menu sign and landscaping, McDonald’s, 2000 Main. Report taken for hit and run and criminal mischief.

4:58 p.m. – Albany Police located individuals with Sweet Home warrants. Parker Del Mowdy, 24, and Kaitlyn Carol Tibbs, 23, both cited on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of animal abandonment.

7:23 p.m. – Two callers on the 4300 block of Long reported a black four door sedan driving at a high rate of speed past the block repeatedly. Officers were unable to locate after patrolling the area for an hour, but it seems to be a nightly occurrence.

9:24 p.m. – Albany Police served Harley Michelle Webb, 26, on two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

September 2

1:48 a.m. – Caller reported motor vehicle collision on Old Hufford Road. Report taken and investigation continuing. Sheriff’s Office did not provide further details.

3:10 a.m. – Angel Sue Johnson, 39, cited on a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation, 1500 block of Main.

3:46 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Department served Samantha Leean Stotz, 29, a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

8:36 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of fishing gear and tools at Sunnyside Park, 44900 block Quartzville Road. Value estimated at $1,500 to $2,000. Report taken.

11:16 a.m. – Caller reported three vehicles were left unlocked and items were stolen from them, 900 block of Nandina. Report taken for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and theft, loss valued at $20.

11:42 a.m. – Caller reported vehicle was entered and items were stolen, 700 block of 12th. Report taken for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and theft, loss valued at $50.

11:52 a.m. – Umatilla County Jail arrested Brezy Marie Pitts, 39, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of failure to carry or present a license.

11:55 a.m. – Linn County Jail arrested Matthew Carl Martin, 30, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal trespass.

12:22 p.m. – Officer located male with warrant, 16th and Elm. Sammy Raymond Hughes, 19, cited and released on an Albany warrant for giving false info to the police.

1:15 p.m. – Daryl Shayne Irwin, 45, cited on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, Mountain View and Long.

1:50 p.m. – Kenneth George Adair, 52, cited and released on a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended, 1306 Main, Chevron.

5:33 p.m. – Rescue personnel from Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District, Oregon Department of Forestry and Linn County Sheriff’s Office assisted stranded individuals who were floating South Santiam River, 28000 block Highway 20. One female was assisted from the water. Fire personnel transported them back to their vehicles.

7:10 p.m. – Caller reported someone entered boat, stole items valued at $2,000. 1400 block 60th Avenue. Report taken.

7:41 p.m. – Caller reported vehicle was broken into, cover was damaged and subwoofer speaker stolen. 1400 block 60th Avenue. $1,500 loss. Report taken.

8:59 p.m. – Caller reported vehicle pulled up the hill at Sweet Home High School, vehicle now off and people with flashlights are walking around, 800 block of 22nd. Officer responded, contacted teacher at location doing maintenance to the gardens, everything is okay.

9:30 p.m. – Albany Police requested officer contact Colby Dean Montigue, 20, arrested on probably cause for domestic violence assault and strangulation, 1800 block of Grape. Transferred to Albany Police.

10:44 p.m. – Caller reported people going through items at Sweet Home Gleaners, 3031 Main. Officer responded, sign on business stating shop after hours, contacted male and female who were shopping.

September 3

4:26 a.m. – Caller reported male borrowed vehicle and hasn’t returned it, 400 block of Holley. Officer responded, caller will wait a few hours and attempt to contact the male before reporting vehicle stolen.

8:51 a.m. – Caller reported utility trailer left behind their building, 3000 block of Main. Officer responded, trailer determined to be stolen. Report taken for theft and recovered stolen item.

10:34 a.m. – Lebanon police served Amber Dawn Barton, 41, a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft.

12:50 p.m. – Caller reported a male causing a disturbance, 1900 block of Willow. Officer responded, Davy Anthony Phillips, 47, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft.

2:02 p.m. – Female yelling at things that are not there, scaring children in the park, 877 14th, Sankey Park. Officer responded, community services officer responded to assist female getting to her appointment.

2:11 p.m. – Caller reported her black 2014 Kia Forte is missing, last seen 5 p.m. September 2, license plate 104JWQ. Report taken.

3:22 p.m. – Caller’s husband backed into a power pole with RV, causing damage, 400 block of 9th. Report taken, Pacific Power notified and responded.

8:19 p.m. – Caller reported children riding an electric scooter without helmets or lights in the street, 900 block of 3rd. officer responded, contacted children and parent, children were wearing helmets and had lights on one of the scooters, advised to be safe while riding.

9:44 p.m. – Caller requested officer in area while employees leave location, Casa De Reyes, 2434 Main. Officer responded, ongoing problem of male contacting females at the business, he wasn’t at the property today but was seen riding his bike on the street near the property, caller advised of options.

September 4

12:11 a.m. – Rhett Jerimiah Tucker, 24, arrested on a Linn County warrant for a parole violation, booked and lodged at Linn County Jail.

12:40 a.m. – While on traffic stop, Brian Neal Clement, 49, cited for driving uninsured, vehicle impounded by Lloyd Rice Towing, 4700 block of Main.

1:44 a.m. – Officer located male taking items from garbage, Sweet Home Junior High. Officer contacted, male returned all items taken from garbage. Jamie Daniel Carpenter, 44, cited and released on a Linn County warrant for a probation violation.

4:20 a.m. – Caller wanted to report vehicle as stolen, 400 block of Holley. Officer responded, vehicle was borrowed four days ago, caller couldn’t make contact with male and didn’t give him permission to have the vehicle this long. Report taken for unauthorized use of a vehicle.

6:10 a.m. – Caller said she was going to fish and a black Charger with Washington plates followed her and pulled up behind her, Foster Dam access parking lot. She left and it followed her for a bit before disappearing on a side road. Officer patrolled area, unable to locate.

6:51 a.m. – Frank Archie Thomas, 46, cited and released on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of meth possession, a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of disorderly conduct, and a new charge for possession of meth, 1500 block of Main.

7:51 a.m. – Skylar James Samson, 20, cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of forgery. 2400 block of Main.

9:03 a.m. – Donavan Delano Gonzalez, 30, cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, 4200 block of Long.

9:08 a.m. – Caller reported their vehicle was broken into sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 2 while it was parked near Clear Lake. Caller reported approximately $600 worth of new clothing, an unfinished 45- by 45-inch pink and yellow quilt with triangle patterns, toiletry items, and a handmade shopping tote with a zombie and unicorn on it. Suspect broke out rear passenger-side window. Under investigation. Report taken.

9:59 a.m. – Caller got scammed out of a rental deposit online, 1300 block of Fir. Officer contacted caller, info noted.

10:15 a.m. – Daniel Eugene McCarty, 61, served on a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation, 15th and Long.

10:43 a.m. – Caller reported he located what he believes to be a box full of child trafficking documents, 5401 Main, Foster Lake Market. Officer responded, items determined to be genealogy type documents.

10:48 p.m. – Lebanon Police served Jon Julian Robertson, 49, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of harassment.

11:23 a.m. – Caller reported male refusing to wear a mask inside store and refusing to leave, 890 Main, U.S. Mini Mart. Officer responded, caller did not wish him to be trespassed, requested he move along.

11:56 a.m. – Kevin Roy Hampton, 56, served a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on a original charge of driving while suspended, 1950 Main, SHPD.

12:03 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle drove into the building, NAPA Auto Parts, 899 Main. Damage under $2500.

12:56 p.m. – Jade Allen Green, 30, cited for careless driving, 4100 block of Main.

12:59 p.m. – Richard Lee Kintzley, 31, cited for driving uninsured, as well as a driving while suspended, a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of reckless driving, a Linn County Sheriff’s Office warrant for a parole violation, a Linn County warrant for a parole violation, and Lane County warrants for a parole violation and failure to appear on an original charge of fleeing or attempting to elude police, 1540 Main, Safeway. 2:02 p.m. – Caller reported people moving out of residence have left trash and junk on caller’s property. Officer contacted neighbors who are cleaning up the mess.

2:57 p.m. – Caller reported she believed her husband was using her 17-year-old son’s ATM card, 4300 block of Long. Officer contacted, pending further info.

6:14 p.m. – Caller reported female sitting on ground making noises, 300 block of Holley. Officer responded, female is deaf, noises being made are normal.

7:20 p.m. – Caller reported their car was broken into while they were floating South Santiam River, 40800 block McDowell Creek Drive. Multiple items reported taken. Report taken.

8:16 p.m. – Eldawna Brianne McKee, 39, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 9th and Nandina.

10:08 p.m. – Caller reported vehicle broken into, 40800 block McDowell Creek Road. Wallet and cash taken. Report taken.

10:15 p.m. – Caller reported vehicle broken into, 40800 block McDowell Creek Road. Backpack containing MacBook Pro and wallet taken. Report taken.

10:41 p.m. – Oregon State Police located Zachariah Lee Davis, 31, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of attempted unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle.

September 5

12:16 a.m. – Corvallis Police located Chaylan Dale Tosta, 38, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal trespassing.

2:13 a.m. – Caller reported a person dancing in a building on the mill property. Officer responded, unable to locate.

2:59 a.m. – Albany Police located Jacob Mitchell Thurber, 28, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft.

5:07 a.m. – Corvallis Police located Keneth Michael Kelley, 35, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

8:43 a.m. – Caller reported girl’s clothing hanging from a tree and on the ground, feels it is suspicious, 900 block of Mountain View. Officer responded, collected items as found property, no sign of struggle or anything suspicious.

9:37 a.m. – Kaleb Kimber Banta, 22, cited and released on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charges of theft, resisting arrest, and escape, 22nd and Ironwood.

10:41 a.m. – Non-injury motor vehicle crash, 44300 block Highway 20. No details available. Report taken.

10:51 a.m. – Caller reported a male tampering with a lock and then went under bleachers, Husky field. Officer responded, contacted male and advised of the complaint. no damage to locks.

11:37 a.m. – Caller reported a male stole a gas can out of his boat, 600 block of Main. Report taken for theft, reckless driving and criminal mischief.

2:33 p.m. – Caller reported windows of two of his vehicles were broken, 1100 block of 18th. Officer responded, report taken for criminal mischief.

2:53 p.m. – Caller reported two makes in park allowing dogs to fight and a third make who appears under the influence, Northside Park. Officer responded, unable to locate anyone suspicious.

4:01 p.m. – Caller reported male and female child are inside fenced off playground, Sankey Park. Officer responded, contacted male child and counselled.

4:10 p.m. – Caller reported female walked out with merchandise, 2414 Main, Dollar Tree. Cristy Jane Cromwell, 39, arrested for theft and possession of meth, cited and released. Also cited and released on a Marion County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of meth possession, theft, and criminal trespassing; a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation; a Polk County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of meth and reckless burning; and a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of meth possession.

4:36 p.m. – Caller reported a male driving a lawn mower pulling a toddler in a wagon, 2295 Main, Mobil. Officer responded, unable to locate.

4:52 p.m. – Single-vehicle crash, minor injury reported in 47200 block Quartzville Road. Additional details unavailable. Report taken.

6:34 p.m. – Caller reported two subjects with a vehicle stating they ran out of gas, both are acting suspicious, Foster Dam. Officer contacted two, they stated they were waiting for a friend to bring them gas.

6:44 p.m. – Deputies responded to boat that ran aground and was damaged at Green Peter Lake. 48700 block Quartzville. No crime.

7:52 p.m. – Caller reported suspicious bones located in woods in 42600 block of Ames Creek Road. Determined to be non-human.

8:21 p.m. – Casie Murray, 35, of Sweet Home arrested for two counts of domestic menacing, 39800 block Mountain Home Drive, following domestic disturbance report. Report taken.

8:51 p.m. – Zachary Hill, 22, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1700 block of Main.

10:08 p.m. – Officer located stolen vehicle out of Albany, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Vehicle bearing license 946FXH towed by Lloyd Rice Towing.
