Sept. 7

3:52 a.m. – Linn County dispatcher reported a male at the Sweet Home fire department with a stab wound to the leg, 1099 Long St. Officer responded and contacted the male, who had been stabbed at another location. The male suffered minor injuries. Investigation continuing.

12:46 a.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Shea Point. Cited and released.

12:35 p.m. – Caller’s son found a wallet in the bushes, 1000 block of 43rd. Placed in found property.

12:58 p.m. – Andrea Joyce Ashby, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Hillsboro. Cited and released.

Sept. 6

12:33 p.m. – Caller reported that someone has been dumping ashes in a backyard, 300 W. Pine. Report taken.

3:24 p.m. – Caller reported that her wallet was taken from her car, 22nd and Mountain View. Report taken.

5:04 p.m. – Ladonna Gayle Bales, 38, cited and released in field on a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation, 58th and Main.

8:16 p.m. – Caller reported a small child walking down the street all by himself, 18th and Elm. Officer responded and walked the child back to his mother, who was out looking for him. The child took off when she went in the house momentarily.

8:47 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his vehicle and stole his radio, 2800 block of Long. Report taken.

Sept. 5

8:38 a.m. – Vehicle left in lane, 3000 Main St. Officer located a relative of the owner, who advised that the vehicle ran out of fuel. Officer stood by until vehicle could be moved and counseled the parent of the driver regarding leaving the vehicle in a lane of travel.

8:56 a.m. – Six vehicles posted for removal, 1800 block of Cedar.

9:45 a.m. – William Lee Phillips, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 1140 12th Ave., Sweet Home Municipal Court.

10:24 a.m. – Caller reported that someone found a credit card and Costco card on the sidewalk, 1300 block of Main. Cards placed in found property.

10:38 a.m. – Caller reported that she was showing a residence and found a backpack someone had hidden in the shrubbery by the front door, 1700 block of Long. Placed in found property.

11:35 a.m. – Silver Michelle Baker, 16, referred to Juvenile Department for possession of a schedule IV substance, 1641 Long St.

11:47 a.m. – George Josef Drexler, 39, arrested on two counts of third-degree theft, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Caller reported the theft of $12 in property on two different days.

5:08 p.m. – Leslie Lee Gibson, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:06 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle crashed into the front of Thriftway, 621 Main St. Information exchanged.

8:16 p.m. – Caller reported a shoplifter, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

8:45 p.m. – Nicholas Aaron Tyree, 32, arrested on Brownsville warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 1408 47th Ave. Cited and released.

9:29 p.m. – Eugene James May, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon.

9:35 p.m. – Caller reported a female hit him and shattered a window on his home, 1100 block of Fourth. Report taken.

11:38 p.m. – Nicholas Aaron Tyree, 32, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

Sept. 4

11:01 a.m. – Daniel Jason Danforth, 19, committed to Linn County Jail for contempt of court and also held on a Linn County detention order for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft (owes 14 days in jail), 1140 12th Ave., Sweet Home Municipal Court.

12:42 p.m. – Marie Therese Ramos AKA Seward, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of theft by receiving, Lebanon.

12:57 p.m. – Nikolas Blair Smith, 15, referred to Juvenile Department for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

3:22 p.m. – Caller reported vandalism to the women’s restroom, Shea Point. Report taken. Damage estimated at $110.

3:33 p.m. – Caller reported that some type of animal was under her house, just pulled a cat underneath the house and was killing it, 4600 block of Main. Officer responded. Animal gone on arrival. Possibly a dog or coyote in the shrubs.

4:32 p.m. – Caller reported vehicles parked in front of a house for a prolonged period of time, 1800 block of Ulex. Referred to code enforcement.

Sept. 3

4:49 a.m. – Caller reported a broken window, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.

10:28 a.m. – Caller reported finding a gold ring with a large stone in her driveway, 200 block of Osage. Placed in found property.

11:37 a.m. – Caller reported someone living in an RV, 1100 block of Second. Referred to code enforcement.

11:39 a.m. – Caller reported garbage all over a yard and blowing down the street, 1100 block of Second. Referred to code enforcement.

11:53 p.m. – Tyler James Clapp, 24, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, OK Feed.

12:24 p.m. – Caller reported an RV parked on the street for more than a week and people living in it, 1000 block of Third. Referred to code enforcement.

3:07 p.m. – Caller reported finding a backpack by the side of a building, 700 block of Long. Placed in found property.

3:36 p.m. – Caller reported a couch in a front yard, 1800 block of Tamarack. Referred to code enforcement.

5:47 p.m. – Travis Trent Stach-Sells, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear, 1810 River St.

7:27 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Value about $6.

Sept. 2

2:05 p.m. – Caller reported blackberries growing over sidewalk, 500 block of 10th. Referred to code enforcement.

2:51 p.m. – Caller reported a travel trailer stored in public right-of-way, 35th and Juniper. Referred to code enforcement.

4:11 p.m. – Caller reported an old hard hat was stolen from a water feature in his backyard, 1300 block of Hawthorne. Report taken. Estimated value was $50.

7:15 p.m. – Caller reported finding a cell phone in her yard, 800 block of Alder. Phone placed in found property.

9:34 p.m. – Janelle Ranee Gibbs, 35, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 1434 Ninth Ave.

10:29 p.m. – Elizabeth Lynn Brown, 32, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

Aug. 30

2:57 a.m. – Emily Peabody, 21, arrested on two counts of fourth-degree assault, two counts of harassment, sexual harassment, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and attempted escape, Sunnyside Park. Caller had reported someone who appeared underage drinking, hitting someone and nearly hitting a pregnant woman. Men in the camp subdued Peabody until a deputy arrived.

8:14 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a $3,700 Trek competition bike, Sunnyside Park. Report taken.

10:53 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a $300 Huffy Beach Cruiser, Sunnyside Park. Report taken.
