8:29 a.m. – Caller reported a hit and run in the parking lot at the Gleaners, 3031 Main St. Report taken.

9:31 a.m. – Caller reported his wallet taken from his vehicle and his debit card used, 2200 block of Juniper. Report taken.

9:56 a.m. – Andrea Caye Conduff, 46, cited for careless driving, 1241 23rd Ave.

11:13 a.m. – Brennan Sean Scott, 21, arrested for third-degree theft and possession of meth, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

12:24 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor was assaulted by another neighbor over a theft, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken.

Sept. 14

8:51 a.m. – Jordan Elizabeth Tyrholm, 25, cited for speeding, 51-35, 200 block of Main.

10:25 a.m. – Billy Joe Richardson, 48, cited for driving uninsured and illegal display of plates and arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended and on state warrant for parole violation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1178 46th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:35 a.m. – Caller reported that she dropped her cell phone at Northside Park and believes a male in a black hoodie took it. Report taken.

11:47 a.m. – Caller reported that someone just stole her vehicle, 1100 block of First. Report taken.

12:39 p.m. – Caller reported finding a child’s bike that had been stripped, 500 block of Main. Placed in found property.

1:11 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke into her house, 600 block of Ironwood. Report taken.

4:07 p.m. – Nathan Allen Oliver Deffenbaugh, 38, arrested for third-degree theft and on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and probation violation and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and third-degree criminal mischief, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

4:27 p.m. – Caller reported finding a bike, 900 block of Mountain View. Bicycle seized. Officer would attempt to locate owner.

4:42 p.m. – Douglas Ray Baxter, 40, cited for using a cell phone while driving, Highway 228 and Long.

8:07 p.m. – Terry Lee Anderson, 53, arrested on state warrant for parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender, 600 block of Seventh. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:14 p.m. – Caller reported her neighbor’s cat stuck between fence boards. She attempted to free the cat, but it bit her. Officer responded and was able to move a fence board enough for the cat to get free.

Sept. 13

9:21 a.m. – Joseph Carl Dadey, 45, cited for no license, Edgewater RV.

9:44 a.m. – Kenneth George Adair, 46, cited for driving while suspended, 12th and Tamarack.

10:23 a.m. – Caller reported a male stole his wallet at Midway Grocery, 3239 Main St. Report taken. Loss valued at $258.

11:24 a.m. – Jennifer Lynn Harp, 42, arrested on two Albany warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

11:40 a.m. – David Paul Gruwell, 48, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 12th and Nandina. Cited and released.

11:42 a.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 21, arrested on Linn County warrants for probation violation on original charges of first-degree theft, possession of meth and driving under the influence; Lebanon warrants for failure to appear on original two counts of hit and run, contempt of court and probation violation; and Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft, misdemeanor driving while suspended and second-degree criminal mischief, Ninth and Main. Cited and released.

1:15 p.m. – Caller reported catching three individuals trying to break into a storage unit, 987 Nandina St. Report taken.

3:14 p.m. – Caller reported finding pants and a wallet, 18th and Tamarack. Placed in found property.

5:03 p.m. – Jenny Marie Aultman, 31, cited for failure to register vehicle and driving uninsured, Midway Grocery.

5:49 p.m. – Jenny Marie Short, 39, arrested on Marion County warrant for parole violation, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:12 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of her longboard, 1500 block of Tamarack. Report taken. Item valued at $180.

8:14 p.m. – Caller reported two juveniles throwing debris into the highway in front of vehicles, 3224 Main St., South Fork Mobile Home Park. Officer contacted the juveniles and advised parents. They were warned, and the roadway was cleared.

Sept. 12

4:14 a.m. – Caller reported a TV smashed in the road and sidewalk at the skate park, 1990 Long St. Officer located an old TV in the westbound lane and cleared it out of the road. Public Works contacted.

7:18 a.m. – Officer located a vehicle with smashed windows, 4600 block of Main. Report taken.

7:24 a.m. – Caller reported seeing a cougar in his backyard at about 6 a.m., 2400 block of Cedar. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife notified.

8:48 a.m. – Megan Katherine Courtney, 26, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of carrying a concealed weapon, Benton County.

9:42 a.m. – Caller located a bicycle in some brush, 1600 block of Cedar. Placed in found property.

12:50 p.m. – Esteban Scott Garcia, 19, arrested on an Oregon Youth Authority warrant for absconding and charged with possession of meth, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

3:04 p.m. – Caller reported that her bank placed a federal levy against her funds because someone stole her identity and owes taxes, 4800 block of 48th Loop. Report taken.

3:37 p.m. – Caller reported finding several large bags of garbage, Upper Sankey Park. Report taken.

8 p.m. – Jacob Lynn Goodwin, 19, arrested on state warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree theft, and Joshua Dean Boehland, 32, arrested on state warrant for failure to appear on original charge of dangerous drugs, 12th and Nandina. Both transported to Linn County Jail.

Sept. 11

8:22 a.m. – Nicholas Aaron Tyree, 32, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to report as a sex offender and failure to appear on a citation, 47th and Nandina. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:54 a.m. – Caller reported lumber in the gutter, 2000 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.

8:56 a.m. – Caller reported two lots with overgrowth plugging the gutter, east end of Foothills. Referred to code enforcement.

8:58 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in the cul de sac, 900 block of 31st. Public Works cannot turn around in the street sweeper. Referred to code enforcement.

9:24 a.m. – James Eugene Richards, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1140 12th Ave., Sweet Home Municipal Court. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:48 a.m. – William Ernest Cockrell, 51, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1140 12th Ave., Sweet Home Municipal Court.

10:52 a.m. – Caller reported open storage, 1800 block of Ulex. Referred to code enforcement.

3:05 p.m. – Caller reported that someone did not pay for a set of nails, 1135 Long St. Report taken.

3:40 p.m. – Caller reported tall weeds, 1000 block of Fifth.

4:09 p.m. – Caller reported a hammock stolen from the backyard, 1300 block of 42nd. Report taken. Loss valued at $50.

7:42 p.m. – Kyle William Hadley, 20, arrested for third-degree theft, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Cited and released.

8:03 p.m. – Maylene Gale Flanigan, 45, arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, Hoy’s. Cited and released.

10:26 p.m. – Doneeka Kiwanis Colburn, 22, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft and failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1025 Long St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:35 p.m. – Caller reported that his bicycle was taken, 700 block of Fifth. Report taken.

Sept. 10

12:54 a.m. – Jeremy Ryan Lehman, 36, cited for no license, 2400 block of Main.

2:43 a.m. – Matthew Charles Nill, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to comply on original charges of third-degree theft and second-degree disorderly conduct and failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Salem. Cited and released.

8:27 a.m. – James Warrington, 35, cited for second-degree criminal trespass, 1223 Kalmia St. Caller reported a male sleeping in the parking lot.

9:01 a.m. – Caller reported someone slashed a tire on his quad, 5300 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $281.

9:28 a.m. – Nicholas Brandon Zook, 33, cited driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to carry proof of insurance, 1900 block of Willow.

10:57 a.m. – Amber Ondre Dawson, 27, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released. Caller had reported a female stealing bakery items.

12:57 p.m. – Officer seized two marijuana plants, 1200 block of Nandina.

1:55 p.m. – Caller reported juveniles starting a small fire, Sankey Park. Caller put out the fire. Officer located a shirt that had been set on fire. No one in the area knew who started the fire.

5:01 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of an $820 bicycle, 700 block of Birch. Report taken. Caller said she went to get her son’s bicycle back from the male who took it, and the bicycle is torn apart and repainted.

6:05 p.m. – Kevin Harold Flowers, 53, arrested on Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 28610 Hwy. 20. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:22 p.m. – Jacob Lynn Goodwin, 19, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

7:49 p.m. – Dena Renee Childers, 54, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

8:06 p.m. – Brianna Michelle Galentine, 20, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released.

8:23 p.m. – Caller reported a theft from the meat department, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

3:07 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of two bicycles worth $150, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken.

6:41 a.m. – Caller reported a bike worth $125 stolen, 1100 block of second. Report taken.

6:58 a.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was entered during the night and ignition broken, 500 block of 17th. Report taken.

11:47 a.m. – R.C. Phillips, 46, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1600 block of Dogwood. Cited and released.

12:35 p.m. – Multiple vehicles, at least three, damaged, Thistle Creek Boat Ramp, 47300 block of Quartzville. Report taken.

1:43 p.m. – Michael Wade Robbins, 45, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Lebanon. Cited and released.

2:08 p.m. – Forrest Clayton Norman, 47, cited for failure to wear seatbelt and driving uninsured, McDonald’s parking lot.

2:48 p.m. – Caller reported tall weeds and grass, 100 block of Nandina. Referred to code enforcement.

3:48 p.m. – Kirstin Marie Mengore, 42, turned herself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1140 12th Ave., Sweet Home Municipal Court. Cited and released in field.

4:30 p.m. – Morning Star Octaviana Kyriss, 36, cited for driving while suspended, Safeway parking lot, 1540 Main St.

4:39 p.m. – Caller reported losing three rings in the Sweet Home area.

4:51 p.m. – Zachary Andrew Short, 21, arrested on Marion County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree burglary and second-degree theft and charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:08 p.m. – Melinda Marie Phillips, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Lebanon. Cited and released.

10:59 p.m – David Michael Pugh, 56, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and illegal display of validating stickers, Riggs Hill Road.

Sept. 8

7:34 a.m. – Joshua Daniel Thein, 18, cited for speeding, Long and 26th.

10:14 a.m. – Caller turned in a wallet with a suspicious substance, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

10:31 a.m. – Caller reported someone living in an RV, 1400 block of 47th. Referred to code enforcement.

10:35 a.m. – Caller reported a burglary, 1800 block of 12th. Report taken.

10:54 a.m. – Caller reported her daughter’s iPhone was stolen from her locker, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Phone valued at $120.

11:39 a.m. – Caller reported a female requesting an officer respond for a male brandishing a large knife, 1200 block of Nandina. Officer responded and contacted a male who had a plastic sword. No crime.

12:52 p.m. – Caller reported someone took out a credit card in her name, 1200 block of 44th. Report taken.

2:10 p.m. – Caller reported vehicles parked on the street for weeks, the lawn is never mowed and trash cans are left by the road all month, 600 block of Ironwood. Referred to code enforcement.

5:24 p.m. – Caller reported that male driver’s debit card was denied when he tried to pay for $80 worth of fuel. The male said he would return within the hour to pay, but he had not shown up, 1810 Main St. Main Street Market. Information noted. Officer would attempt to contact the male.

Sept. 7

11:46 a.m. – James Cornwell, 18, cited for careless driving in single-vehicle crash, 26700 block of Cedar Creek. A vehicle had been traveling west on Wiley Creek west of Cedar Creek when it failed to negotiate a right-hand turn. The vehicle was traveling too fast for the conditions and went out of control on the gravel portion of the road. The vehicle left the road and impacted a tree on the driver’s side, crushing the roof. Airbags were deployed. The crash occurred around 4:15 a.m., and the driver went to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital in a private vehicle with a broken left arm and cuts, scrapes and bruises over most of his body.

2:20 p.m. – Caller reported finding a wallet, 3224 Main St., South Fork Mobile Home Park. Placed in found property.

6:37 p.m. – Caller reported finding keys, Ninth and Poplar. Placed in found property.

6:54 p.m. – Robert Norman Jaques, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, O’Reilly’s, 12th and Main.

7:51 p.m. – Caller reported her bag was taken from the Starbuck’s area, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

Sept. 3

5 p.m. – Caller reported that his Nissan Quest van and his motor home were destroyed in a fire and sold for scrap without permission, 24900 block of West Brush Creek. Caller wanted to pursue charges. Report taken.
