Sept. 20

1:24 a.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken.

1:36 a.m. – Caller reported three juvenile males walking west on Highway 228 while carrying a candy machine, Highway 228 and Second. Officer checked area. Unable to locate.

4:58 a.m. – Caller reported that her husband’s truck was just stolen from the driveway, 1100 block of 29th. Report taken.

8:02 a.m. – Nicholas Brandon Zook, 33, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:16 a.m. – Caller reported that her sister’s apartment was entered during the night through the bathroom window, 1200 block of 24rd. Report taken. Nothing was taken. Subjects were scared away.

11:06 a.m. – Daniel Joseph Carrico, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original two counts of second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree theft and third-degree theft, Benton County. Cited and released.

1:13 p.m. – Donald Wayne Ames, 51, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on two counts of contempt of court, 691 Main St. Cited and released. Caller had reported that subjects may be dealing drugs out of the back of a van and wanted an officer to advise them to move along.

1:57 p.m. – Tarry Ramon Miller, 50, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of recklessly endangering another, Union County. Cited and released.

Sept. 19

12:31 a.m. – Amanda Rae Stafford, 38, arrested on Linn County warrant for possession of meth and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of disorderly conduct and cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, 18th and Long. Cited and released.

4:27 a.m. – Christopher Dewayne Liles, 34, cited for speeding, 50-35, Main and Pleasant Valley.

10:34 a.m. – Caller reported an iPod stolen from the garage, 1200 block of 41st. Report taken.

1:33 p.m. – Caller reported a parked vehicle at location, 900 block of Poplar. Referred to code enforcement.

2:24 p.m. – Caller reported an occupied RV, 300 block of Ironwood. Referred to code enforcement.

3:41 p.m. – Caller reported pickup window was shattered, 4300 block of Airport. Report taken. Damage valued at $250.

4:36 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked for an extended amount of time, 1200 block of 22nd. Referred to code enforcement.

4:50 p.m. – Caller reported improper posting of sign, 600 block of Third. Sign removed. Party counseled.

5:13 p.m. – Officer located a crash at 44th and Main. No injuries. No damage. No citations. Vehicle off the roadway. Driver would work on getting vehicle out of the ditch.

5:39 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor with chickens running loose, behind Starlite Apartments. Referred to code enforcement.

6:05 p.m. – David Edward McCracken, 19, arrested for fourth-degree assault in connection to a report on Sept. 16, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

6:19 p.m. – Caller reported chickens eating his tomato plants, 2400 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

6:24 p.m. – Caller reported a theft of items worth $5, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

7:58 p.m. – James William Ayala, 21, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

Sept. 18

12:51 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole tools from his pickup, 1200 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $3,000.

7:18 a.m. – Aron Johan Van Dijk, 31, arrested on Brownsville warrant for contempt of court and for possession of hydrocodone and oxycodone. Also cited for speeding, 63-45; no license; and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Main and 42nd. Cited and released.

11:08 a.m. – Brandon Ryan Freeman, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 22nd and Juniper. Transported to Sweet Home Municipal Court.

11:10 a.m. – Caller reported blackberry vines extending into the street, 18th and Tamarack. Referred to code enforcement.

3:03 p.m. – Julianne Nicole Phillips, 21, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 12th and Nandina. Cited and released.

4:48 p.m. – Caller reported an occupied RV, 4100 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

5:10 p.m. – Jonathon Michael Hicks, 30, cited for careless driving in crash, 500 block of Main.

5:52 p.m. – Caller reported he was knocked off of his bicycle and bitten by a dog, 4500 block of Long. Report taken. Dog quarantined.

6:45 p.m. – Caller reported her son’s bicycle stolen, 1000 block of 15th. Report taken. Bike valued at $95.

9:57 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his residence and stole $500 in tools, 1400 block of 40th. Report taken.

2:14 a.m. – Esteban Scott Garcia, 19, arrested and Tyler Gene Jakeway, 16, taken into custody for second-degree attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools, 755 Main St. Caller reported hearing what sounded like someone smashing things.

8:41 a.m. – Corey Brandon Ford, 23, cited for driving while suspended, 4118 Long St.

10 a.m. – Sweet Home Police Department recovered vehicle reported stolen to Linn County Sheriff’s Office, mill property off 43rd.

11:52 a.m. – Richard Alan Stroud, 50, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, Midway Grocery.

1:27 p.m. – Mark Leslie Haskins, 53, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, 1140 12th Ave., Sweet Home Municipal Court.

2:23 p.m. – Christine Nicole Killian, 28, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for harassing communication, 1408 47th Ave.

2:26 p.m. – Caller reported discarded couches in alleyway, 22nd and Larch. Referred to code enforcement.

5:04 p.m. – Vehicle versus bicyclist collision, 4824 Main St. Driver was Thomas Walter Lancaster, 67. Cyclist was Elige Oliphant Adams, 82. Cyclist transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Report taken. Investigation pending.

5:18 p.m. – David Andrew Kirby, 35, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

5:52 p.m. – Caller reported several guns worth $1,900 were stolen, 1900 block of Willow. Report taken.

6:50 p.m. – Tiffany Ann Hamn, 28, cited for endangering child passenger (no booster seat), Towne Pump.

7:11 p.m. – Caller reported leaving his board outside, and then according to witnesses, a group of juveniles came along and took it, 1100 block of 13th. Report taken. Approximate value was $280.

10:16 p.m. – Andrew Hamilton Timick, 24, cited for driving uninsured, Main and 49th.

Sept. 16

1:36 a.m. – Terry Lynn Ballweber, 50, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Lebanon warrant for contempt of court, probation violation and failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear, 18th and Tamarack. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

6:19 a.m. – Caller reported that she came home from work to find her recycling can gone. Cardboard that had been inside it was stacked on the other side of the street, and all the cans and bottles from inside the can were missing, 1800 block of Kalmia. Officer responded, located recycling bin and replaced the cardboard inside. Report taken.

9:38 a.m. – Anthony Allen Victor, 30, arrested for fourth-degree assault and recklessly endangering another person, Main Street. Caller reported that while driving down Main Street, a male hit her in the face.

10:33 a.m. – Caller reported that someone attempted to gain access to location, 4600 block of Main. Report taken.

10:49 a.m. – Caller reported a boat stored on the street, 1300 block of Evergreen. Referred to code enforcement.

12:23 p.m. – Caller reported that checks were stolen from his truck, 200 block of Main. Report taken.

12:54 p.m. – Caller reported her son’s wallet stolen while he was at school, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken.

1:44 p.m. – Caller reported liquid with foul odor oozing from the ground, 1000 block of 43rd. Referred to code enforcement.

2:06 p.m. – Caller reported criminal mischief, 1100 block of Juniper. Report taken.

2:31 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office recovered a green Ford pickup stolen from Sweet Home in a ditch on Liberty Road north of Fern Ridge.

3:28 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of his bicycle, 1300 block of Long. Report taken. Bike valued at $80.

4:45 p.m. – Caller reported her debit card stolen, 1400 block of 47th. Report taken.

7:17 p.m. – Jeremy Michael Hicks, 34, arrested on four Linn County warrants for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, Linn County warrant for failure to appear and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and charged with possession of meth and less than an ounce of marijuana, Ninth and railroad tracks.

7:17 p.m. – Christine Nicole Killian, 28, arrested for third-degree theft and fradulent use of a credit card, 1408 Seventh Ave. Cited and released.

8:24 p.m. – Multiple callers reported a disturbance involving two males versus one male near the can machine, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken for fourth-degree assault.

9:13 p.m. – Caller reported bicycle tires were damaged, 5300 block of Main. Report taken.

7:16 a.m. – Caller reported a stolen vehicle, a 1998 Honda Accord, 26600 block of Rowell Hill. Report taken.

2:18 p.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle has been parked on the street for more than a year, 900 block of Second. Referred to code enforcement.

2:46 p.m. – Caller reported a large tree obstructing clear vision for the road, 800 block of Terrace. Referred to code enforcement.

3:35 p.m. – Caller reported someone using his business account in a fraudulent way, 1000 block of Main. Investigation continuing.

3:50 p.m. – Caller reported a car parked in the street for more than a year, 4900 block of Maple. Referred to code enforcement.

4:13 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke into his house and stole two chainsaws worth $750 and a kerosene heater worth $325, 25300 block of Brush Creek. Report taken.

6:46 p.m. – Heather Jovan Martinez, 30, arrested for third-degree assault and attempted second-degree robbery, 18th and railroad tracks. Transported to Linn County Jail.
