2:40 a.m. – Caller reported a male, who thinks someone is trying to kill him, in front of the entrance to Safeway, 1540 Main St. Officer contacted the male, who stated he was having meth-induced paranoia and would call back if he saw anyone trying to attack his vehicle.
3:09 a.m. – Shaun Randall Larsen, 20, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 13th and Long. Cited and released.
7:28 a.m. – Caller found a wallet, 18th and Tamarack. Placed in found property.
8:27 a.m. – Thriftway employee chased a subject for theft and flagged down an officer, 621 Main St. Report taken.
8:34 a.m. – Caller reported all four tires on his vehicle were flattened, 1800 block of Kalmia. Report taken. Loss valued at about $500.
8:52 a.m. – Caller reported that someone started a fire in his burn pile during the night, 2200 block of Long. Caller believed it may have been neighbors. Caller did not wish for the officer to contact the neighbors but requested extra patrol.
9:35 a.m. – William Devan Stringham, 26, arrested on Curry County warrant for probation violation, 13th and Nandina. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:04 a.m. – Caller reported a small child throwing rocks at passing vehicles, 3200 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.
11:35 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of his bicycle, valued at $500, 2200 block of Main. Report taken.
1:21 p.m. – Caller brought in a stray dog that was in her yard, 1100 block of 43rd. Dog, possibly a German shepherd mix, placed in kennel. Dog Control notified.
2:49 p.m. – Veronica Sue Szuch, 20, arrested on Linn County supervisory warrant, owes five days in jail; Marion County warrant for second-degree theft; and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft; and Cody Michael Lobdell, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft, Sweet Home High School parking lot off 18th Avenue. Szuch transported to Linn County Jail. Lobdell cited and released.
3:16 p.m. – Caller reported a lock cut off the bottle and can room, 440 Osage St., Sweet Home Elks Lodge. Report taken.
4:01 p.m. – Caller reported that transients in campers were still in the City Hall parking lot.
4:01 p.m. – Caller reported dogs barking since the owner left during the morning, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer contacted the owner of the dog and advised of the complaint.
4:08 p.m. – Caller turned in a cell phone she found. Placed in found property.
7:04 p.m. – Officer located a purse, 600 block of Ninth. Placed in found property.
8:13 p.m. – Caller reported two females yelling and arguing, 12th and Kalmia. Officer contacted one female, who advised that the other female was yelling. Nothing physical.
9:19 p.m. – Caller reported a male hitting his dog with nunchucks, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Officer contacted a male with nunchucks, and he denied hitting the dogs. They appeared to be fine and in good health.

7:47 a.m. – Darrell George Berrigan Jr., 44, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
10:01 a.m. – Caller reported squatters have been staying in a camper for the past few days, 12th and Kalmia. Officer contacted a female who said they were waiting for a part to fix the camper and would leave by the end of the day.
11:57 a.m. – Jennifer Dee Russell, 38, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance, 4900 block of Mimosa. Caller had reported a loose dog. Officer responded, and owner retrieved the dog.
2:28 p.m. – Caller reported that a male shattered the glass at the bus stop by throwing his backpack at it, 12th and Kalmia Officer unable to locate male. Witnesses said the subject could have been injured. Officer would continue to look for him. Damage estimated at $350.
3:10 p.m. – Caller reported that someone tore the gas cap off his vehicle, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Damage estimated at $20.
3:58 p.m. – Quentin Wyatt Quadros, 18, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, Sankey Park. Cited and released.
5:25 p.m. – Caller reported that the tags were stolen from her license plates, 1300 block of Poplar. Report taken.
5:27 p.m. – Caller found mail at the South Santiam Fish Hatchery, 43182 North River Road. Linn County deputies investigating.
9:52 p.m. – Caller reported a rottweiler mix running at large, 1300 block of Fir. Caller was afraid it would be hit. Owner arrived and picked up the dog.
10:41 p.m. – Paul Michael Peterson, 31, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of hit and run, Lincoln County.
Sept. 22
9:31 a.m. – Caller reported that she bought Irish cream that had poison in it, 2900 block of Harding. Information noted. Caller advised of options.
11:21 a.m. – Caller reported that residents of a neighboring property were housing multiple beehives, 4600 block of Osage. Residents were being stung. Referred to code enforcement.
12:13 p.m. – Caller reported chickens coming into the parking lot every morning, 1400 block of 24th. Referred to code enforcement.
12:44 p.m. – Caller found a wallet in the grass by Weddle Bridge, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park.
6 p.m. – Caller reported that she owns the shop at 1351 Main St. The shop was closed, but she forgot to lock the front door. While she and other employees were painting in the back room, someone entered the shop and went into the restroom. The caller yelled at the person to come out, but he refused to. Officer responded and male subject was trespassed.
6:15 p.m. – Caller reported that a pit bull attacked her daughter, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Injury did not require quarantine. Owner counseled for keeping a dog as a public nuisance.
7:43 p.m. – Jack Vance Townsend, 49, cited and released in field on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass.
8:43 p.m. – Caller reported subjects have been staying in a camper on a pickup, 13th and Kalmia. When officers tell them to move, they move across the street in front of the Genealogical Society Library. Vehicle gone upon officer arrival.
9:18 p.m. – David Duane Phillips, 61, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth and driving while suspended, 2456 Long St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:39 a.m. – Linn County Jail served a Sweet Home warrant for for second-degree criminal mischief on Geremy George Byzewski, 23.
1:40 a.m. – Linn County Jail served a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge on Chaylan Dale Tosta, 34, for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct.
9:06 a.m. – Brandin Martin Hugley, 29, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of possession of marijuana and probation violation, Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a citation and state warrant for parole violation on original charge of larceny, 3108 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:26 a.m. – Caller reported that a female may have stolen her tip money, 2450 Main St., Coffee Hut. Female last seen walking into Circle K. Caller did not want to pursue charges. Female was trespassed from the Coffee Hut and warned for consuming alcohol in public.
9:37 a.m. – Caller reported a female walking around talking to invisible people, 12th and Kalmia. Officer unable to locate.
9:44 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her house and stole papers, 4000 block of Kalmia. Report taken.
11:16 a.m. – Caller reported a male panhandling in front of Santiam Drug, 1530 Main St. Officer planned to locate male and trespass him.
11:43 a.m. – Ronald Eugene Oliver, 48, cited and released in field for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1320 45th Ave. Caller had reported a lot of foot and bicycle traffic on 45th Avenue and requested extra patrol. Officer contacted a male and advised him that he was trespassing and had 24 hours to collect his belongings and be on his way.
1:56 p.m. – Angela Diane Al-Saedi, 38, cited for speeding, 75 mph in a 55-mph zone, Highway 20 and Santiam Terrace.
2:06 p.m. – Caller reported that his aunt threw trash all over his yard and has been harassing him via Facebook, 6200 block of Main. Report taken for offensive littering.
4:04 p.m. – Caller reported weeds and brush growing through the fence from the neighbor’s yard, 1700 block of Elm. Referred to code enforcement.
4:56 p.m. – Robert Charles Piper, 56, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Albany. Cited and released.
5:01 p.m. – Caller turned in keys found outside, 3100 block of Juniper. Placed in found property.
6:12 p.m. – Caller reported two female juveniles came into the store, filled their bag with candy and tried to leave without paying, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Officer counseled juveniles about their actions and released them to their parents.
6:38 p.m. – Caller found a bag of mail in the alley behind the 1300 block of 13th. Property placed in found property.
7:09 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female siphoning fuel from a vehicle, 100 block of Highway 228. Officer responded. Unknown if a crime occurred or to whom the vehicle belonged. Vehicle posted for removal.
7:35 p.m. – Caller reported that a brown male dog was running loose on her property, 1200 block of Clark Mill. Officer captured dog and later released it to the owner.
8:50 p.m. – Henry Drew Tucker, 30, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 807 Seventh Ave. Cited and released.
9:48 p.m. – Caller reported two lost dogs at her house, 1100 block of 43rd. Dogs placed in kennel. Image posted on social media and dog control advised.
10:37 p.m. – Ilene Marie Erwin, 34, arrested on Merced County, Calif., warrant for domestic violence and probation violation, 2400 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:13 a.m. – Kyle Jordan Frederick, 18, cited for consumption of marijuana, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Caller had reported a male hunched over the steering wheel of his vehicle.
8:23 a.m. – Gabriel Wayne Redick, 19, turned in himself on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11 a.m. – David Arroyo-Sandoval, 36, turned in himself on a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of third-degree theft and probation violation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.
12:33 p.m. – Tiffany Anne Burks, 36, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal mischief, 1900 block of Long.

5:32 p.m. – Phillip Grant Passmore, 40, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and possession of meth, 4155 Osage St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:44 p.m. – Caller reported a male was trying to hit a dog with a baseball bat, Seventh and Elm. Officer responded and contacted a male who was concerned for his cihldren who were playing and called him because there was a loose dog.
7:10 p.m. – Kimberly Ann Winney, 45, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of failure to appear and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 4155 Osage St. Cited and released.
7:11 a.m. – Caller turned in a wallet found at 604 Main St. Placed in found property.
8:20 p.m. – Kenneth Wayne Parker, 56, arrested for harassment (domestic) and fourth-degree assault, 6099 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a female screaming for someone to call 9-1-1, and another call reported being attacked and hit by a male.
Sept. 19
12:39 a.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 28, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation, 18th and Tamarack. Transported to Linn County Jail.
9:31 a.m. – Caller found two jackets. Placed in found property.
9:41 a.m. – Caller reported that someone hit her car during the Jamboree, 18th and Main. Report taken.
10:06 a.m. – Caller reported that her 10-year-old is refusing to go to school, 1100 block of 54th. Officer counseled mother and child, and the child went to school.
3:46 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog acting aggressively toward his dog, 4000 block of Osage. Officer responded. No violation or crimes occurred. Officer tried to mediate as best he could.
11:01 a.m. – Caller reported that her brother’s girlfriend was driving by her house throwing trash in her yard, 1200 block of 47th. Officer contacted the female, who admitted to dumping food at the location. She would avoid the property for the rest of the day.
11:44 a.m. – Caller reported a deer caught in the fence, 39600 block of Highway 228. Caller was able to cut the deer loose, but it had a broken leg and couldn’t move.
12:30 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her shop and stole some items, 1400 block of Poplar. Report taken.
1:02 p.m. – Caller reported that her ex-boyfriend is harassing her by phone, 1200 block of Fourth. Male warned for telephonic harassment.
4:50 p.m. – Kyle James Elmer, 25, arrested on Linn County warrant for possession of heroin and meth and a new charge of third-degree escape, 22nd and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
5:22 p.m. – Caller reported a shed being built too close to the property line, 800 block of Poplar. Referred to code enforcement.
5:25 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s tree growing over the fence and damaging the fence, 400 block of Seventh. Referred to code enforcement.
6:06 p.m. – Caller reported that his backpack was stolen from a friend’s vehicle, Sankey Park. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,220.
7:07 p.m. – Caller said someone deposited $421 to her checking account on Saturday then withdrew $1,252.50 later that same day. The account is just in the caller and her husband’s name. Report taken.

10:23 p.m. – Phillip Randall Passmore, 50, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 920 Dogwood St.
Sept. 17
10:51 p.m. – Jacob Richardson, 21, cited for no insurance after his vehicle went off the roadway and crashed into a yard, hitting a fence, 39900 block of Mountain Home.
Sept. 16
1:16 p.m. – Caller reported a baby cow was loose, 42000 block of Upper Berlin Rd. Several other cows were trying to push through the fence.
3 p.m. – Caller complained about the neighbor’s dog barking frequently, 41100 block of Upper Calapooia Drive. Warning was issued for nuisance barking dog.
Sept. 15
12:16 a.m. – Caller reported that a male punched a female who was visiting, 41900 block of North River Dr. He left in her vehicle. Report taken. Deputies are looking for the suspect.
10:53 a.m. – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reported two small marijuana plants on public land, 50400 block of Quartzville Rd. Marijuana seized. Report taken.
Sept. 14
10:11 a.m. – Caller reported sleeping bag and flashlight stolen while he was camping near Yellowbottom. Report taken.
5:10 p.m. – Caller reported that six or seven, possibly juveniles, were fighting like UFC at the Sunnyside Park docks.
5:56 p.m. – Caller said someone fired off a gun on her property and she believes her car was also keyed last night. The subjects left in a large diesel pickup truck.
8:16 p.m. – Timothy Holley, 37, arrested for fourth-degree assault, 43500 block of Wiley Creek Dr. He had been drinking beer when he was already very intoxicated. When the caller tried to take the rest of the beer away, she claimed, Holley put her in a “headlock” causing injury.
