Sept. 4

12:26 a.m. – Officer located an unsecured bicycle, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Placed in found property.

1:19 p.m. – Caller reported a rooster crowing every morning, 300 block of Seventh. Referred to code enforcement.

Sept. 3

2:20 a.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male was lying partially in the roadway, 22nd and Long. Officer contacted the intoxicated male, who was having a medical issue. Friends picked up the male after medics checked him.

7:38 a.m. – Caller found a wallet on a picnic table, Poverty Beach. Placed in found property.

3:04 p.m. – Angel Patricia Geib, 32, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 5401 Main St., Foster Lake Mall. Cited and released.

4:29 p.m. – Mohammed Abdulla Al Mesalam, 25, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and speeding, 4400 block of Main.

8:10 p.m. – Matthew Ellis Claxton, 28, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation and Sweet home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1400 block of Tamarack. Cited and released.

8:46 p.m. – Caller reported several people in the Skate Park after hours, 1990 Long St. Group of five left as officer arrived.

10:23 p.m. – Caller reported dogs barking in the area, 4800 block of Nandina. Owners arrived as officers arrived. They were advised of ordinance and agreed to try to keep the dogs quiet.

10:28 p.m. – Caller reported his bicycle stolen, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

10:47 p.m. – Theresa Christine Alberts, 28, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 12th and Long. Cited and released.

Sept. 2

7:49 a.m. – Caller turned in ID found in the 2000 block of Main. Placed in found property.

11:25 a.m. – Gabriel Frank Grajiola, 32, arrested for third-degree robbery, second-degree theft and menacing, Hilltop Market. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:29 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parking at Hawthorne School over night. Caller placed a note on the vehicle, which later passed by the front of the school. The driver threw the note on the lawn. Officer contacted the registered owner, who said he would counsel his children on responsibility.

2:25 p.m. – Caller reported a truck full of garbage parked in front of his house, 1000 block of 13th. Referred to code enforcement.

2:34 p.m. – Terry Lynn Ballweber, 52, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree theft and possession of meth, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

5:19 p.m. – Daniel Joseph Carrico, 32, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of contempt of court seeking punitive sanctions and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of probation violation and second-degree theft, 4200 block of Main. Cited and released.

5:29 p.m. – Caller reported two pit bulls running loose, 1400 block of 47th. Officer unable to locate.

6:34 p.m. – Caller found a bicycle across the highway from the Woods Roadhouse. Bicycle placed in found property.

11:18 p.m. – Harold Sylvester Ellis, 50, cited for driving uninsured and failure to carry proof of insurance, 2500 block of Main.

Sept. 1

9:38 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass along 37th Avenue. Referred to code enforcement.

9:42 a.m. – Caller turned in shotgun shells and rifle primers she found, 2600 block of Harding. Placed in found property.

9:53 a.m. – Caller found a dog in her yard, 1400 block of Elm. Dog placed in kennel.

11:25 a.m. – Hailee Jo Smith-Daggett, 23, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and probation violation, 3108 Main St.

12:49 p.m. – Heather Lee Elmer, 23, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of contempt of court, 18th and Willow. Caller had reported two females fighting over a phone and drugs.

2:03 p.m. – Caller reported that a dog followed her home, 2400 block of Harding. Dog placed in kennel.

2:04 p.m. – Caller reported tall grass and blackberries, 400 block of Oak Terrace. Referred to code enforcement.

2:05 p.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 400 block of Juniper. Referred to code enforcement.

2:19 p.m. – Caller reported that someone has been stealing her mail for the past three weeks, 42000 block of Bennett Lane.

2:33 p.m. – Caller found a bag full of diabetic supplies, Marks Ridge. Placed in found property.

4:36 p.m. – Caller reported that a female subject and her daughter were allowed to stay over night, and then they took off with the caller’s money and left drug paraphernalia, 2100 block of Main. Report taken.

4:55 p.m. – Madison Tayelle Pellett, 23, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving and a citation, 42nd and Osage. Cited and released. Caller had reported two motor homes parked for awhile, with a lot of foot and bicycle traffic after dark. Officer posted a car and a motor home for removal.

Aug. 31

7:17 a.m. – Caller reported a subject sleeping in a red sleeping bag, 13th and Kalmia. Officer contacted a male and advised him to move on.

7:40 a.m. – Caller reported that a male’s vehicle broke down, and he parked in front of her garage, 2500 block of Long. Vehicle towed as a hazard.

8:14 a.m. – Caller turned in a cell phone, Upper Calapooia. Placed in found property.

10:06 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs left outside, and no one is caring them, 3100 block of Main. Officer unable to contact owner. Officer left business card.

12:02 p.m. – Officer located a bicycle, 1200 block of Nandina. Placed in found property.

4:39 p.m. – Caller reported that she was assaulted a month earlier by a male and she had received stitches, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.

4:50 p.m. – Caller reported a barb-wire fence erected behind a trailer park, 3900 block of Osage. Referred to code enforcement.

5:39 p.m. – Caller reported a dog barking for several hours, 1100 block of First. Officer contacted owners, and they put the dogs inside.

8:20 p.m. – Caller reported that an ex-boyfriend showed up, and when she told him to leave, he acted like he cut himself, 1600 block of Elm. Unknown if he did or not. Report taken.

10:50 p.m. – Caller reported a female got out of her vehicle and then kicked and threw a shoe at his vehicle, Main and 47th. Report taken.

Aug. 30

7:59 a.m. – Daniel Anthony Ciullo, 28, arrested on Clackamas County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of delivery of meth and possession of meth, 3026 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:10 a.m. – Caller reported a dog barking again, 900 block of 23rd. House quiet upon officer arrival. Unable to contact owner.

9:14 a.m. – Caller reported persons living in an RV on the street, 500 block of Fourth. Referred to code enforcement.

9:16 a.m. – Caller reported a travel trailer with persons living in it, 1400 block of Westwood. Referred to code enforcement.

9:29 a.m. – Caller reported that a dog defecated in a carport, 1800 block of Grape. Referred to code enforcement.

10:33 a.m. – Caller reported that a customer swapped pricing on items, and it was caught on video, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Report taken. Loss valued at $40.

10:52 a.m. – Caller reported that a male pushed him in the back and smashed his head into a window, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office. Report taken.

1:01 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke in and stole a .38 Special revolver and a .22-caliber pistol, magazine and ammunition, 43500 block of Wiley Creek. Report taken.

2:11 p.m. – Caller reported that a vacant house has an abandoned vehicle in the front yard, 500 block of Surrey Lane. Referred to code enforcement.

4:46 p.m. – Caller brought a dog she found to the Sweet Home Police Department, 49th and Main. Dog placed in kennel. Unable to locate owner information. Dog Control advised.

5:04 p.m. – Caller reported a male driving by her house and intentionally scratching her vehicle, 1600 block of 13th. Report taken. Damage estimated at $500.

6:20 p.m. – Caller reported that a male went behind the bar and stole money from the register, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Report taken. Loss valued at $300.

9:37 p.m. – Andrea Joyce Ashby, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on three original counts of criminal mistreatment and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 15th and Main. Cited and released.

10:45 p.m. – John Henry Youngman, 41, arrested on state warrant for absconding, 338 Ninth Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a domestic dispute.

Aug. 29

1:07 a.m. – Linn County dispatchers requested a Sweet Home officer respond to Highway 20 and Quartzville where a male was lying on the side of the road screaming. Officer assisted. Male transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by Sweet Home medics.

7:47 a.m. – Caller said her garbage can was smashed and broken 500 feet up the road, 28200 block of Pleasant Valley. Garbage was all over the road.

8:10 a.m. – Caller reported an extension cord stolen and a phone line cut, 621 Main St., Buzzd Coffee. Report taken. Loss valued at $20.

9:38 a.m. – Caller reported a dog barking for a couple of hours, 900 block of 23rd. Officer unable to locate barking dog. Officer could hear one dog barking, but it was far away.

10:16 a.m. – Caller reported debris and trash in the front yard and covering the sidewalk, 300 block of Seventh. Referred to code enforcement.

10:18 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog barking constantly, 700 block of Eighth. Referred to code enforcement.

12:55 p.m. – Caller reported a dog jumping a fence and biting her dog and her roommate, 1000 block of 13th. Officer contacted subjects involved. Injuries were not a result of a dog bite. Officer warned owner for public nuisance.

1:43 p.m. – Anna Rochelle House, 32, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Jail.

3:08 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $30.

4 p.m. – Caller reported a male stealing an employee’s skateboard, 1364 Main St., Dairy Queen. The employee recovered the skateboard after chasing the male who stole it. Caller requested that the officer trespass the male subject.

4:10 p.m. – Caller reported a backpack left on the side of a building, 800 block of Long. Backpack placed in found property.

5:28 p.m. – Caller reported a male screaming in the woods, 900 block of Long. Officer responded, contacted the male and counseled him on his actions.

5:52 p.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to have an 11-year-old girl send nude photos of herself over the internet. Report taken.

8:19 p.m. – Caller reported dogs barking for hours, 1800 block of Kalmia. Officer contacted owner and warned her she could be cited if she didn’t address the issue.

8:54 p.m. – Bryce William McGowan, 32, cited and released in field due to medical conditions on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Clackamas County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Marion County warrant for first-degree burglary, Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and probation violation and Salem warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to carry and present a license, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller had reported a male in a wheelchair asking people for money in the parking lot and saying he needed to go to the hospital.

Aug. 28

4:02 p.m. – Jacob Lynn Goodwin, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County. Cited and released.

6:32 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit guardrail, 48400 Quartzville. A vehicle failed to make a curve and slid across the road, taking out a guardrail.

Aug. 27

9:50 a.m. – Caller reported a stray little white dog with an injured leg, 43600 Wiley Creek. Report taken.

11:12 a.m. – Caller reported problems with a neighbor and complained about neighbor’s dog, 2100 block of Cedar. Report taken.

1:12 p.m. – Caller said when she went to check on tenants, she discovered the home had been trashed, windows broken and other damage, 26900 block of Old Holley.

Aug. 26

10:30 a.m. – Caller said she found a medium-sized dog chained up on her property, 40300 block of Holley Heights. She had no idea whose dog it is. The dog had a tag. Report taken.

3:16 p.m. – Caller reported she was scammed out of some money, 28300 block of Jones. The caller received a call from someone telling her they were with the IRS and she owed back taxes. She sent money of various amounts, once for $12,000 and another for $4,700. Report taken.

Aug. 25

12:09 p.m. – Caller says his neighbors white pit bull barks all the time, 28100 block of Ridgeway. The owners were not home.

8:03 p.m. – Two males were on the trail arguing and appeared to be high on something, McDowell Creek Park. One of the males asked to borrow the caller’s phone. When she declined, they followed her down the trail.
