Sept. 1

2:51 a.m. – Matthew Ellis Claxton, 29, arrested for harassment (domestic violence) and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), 1100 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Aug. 31

9:32 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor hit two of the caller’s vehicles, parked his car and walked away, 1200 block of Evergreen. Report taken. Damage to both vehicles was less than $100. Officer found no evidence to suggest a neighbor was suspect.

11:16 a.m. – Caller reported her debit card was used in Bellevue, Wash., 1400 block of Meadowlark. Information noted.

3:08 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in a vehicle with the windows cracked, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Officer responded.

3:13 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of medication from her vehicle, 1200 block of 12th. Information noted.

4:31 p.m. – Franklin Archie Thompson, 43, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

4:43 p.m. – Terry Lee Anderson, 56, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Lebanon. Cited and released.

9:22 p.m. – Caller reported subjects trespassing on church property, 2590 Long St., Bethel Lutheran Church. Officer contacted a male who admitted to opening the back door looking for a place to sit for awhile. Male warned and trespassed.

Aug. 30

7:52 a.m. – Caller reported that someone hit a stop sign, Highway 228 and 1st. Public Works advised.

8:19 a.m. – Caller reported that a female showed up and advised that her boyfriend had assaulted her, 300 block of 7th. Report taken.

8:34 a.m. – Joshua Scott Dawson, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County. Cited and released.

8:46 a.m. – Caller reported that male has a firearm but is not allowed to have firearms, 2400 block of Harding. Report taken.

8:55 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the Nazarene Church, 415 Hwy. 228. Nothing was taken or damaged. Report taken.

9:05 a.m. – Caller reported a dog barking nonstop, 39500 block of Crawfordsville Drive. Deputy warned the owner for the barking dog and for failure to license four dogs.

11:52 a.m. – Alejandro Martinez, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Albany. Cited and released.

11:55 a.m. – Caller found a bicycle, 1300 block of 18th. Placed in found property.

12:35 p.m. – Caller reported that his neighbor’s dog is constantly running loose, 300 block of Strawberry Loop. Officer unable to contact owner. Left business card.

1:53 p.m. – Obediah Jeremiah Teixeira, 38, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence. Cited and released.

3:48 p.m. – Shilo Wayne Dunston, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol, Lebanon. Cited and released.

4:17 p.m. – Caller reported a van stolen several years earlier, 25900 block of Brush Creek. Report taken.

5:55 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor has 15 to 16 chickens that fly over the fence and destroy his front yard, 1100 block of 46th. Referred to code enforcement.

7:33 p.m. – James Anthony Pruitt, 33, arrested for first-degree criminal trespass while in possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a firearm within city limits, and Richard Keith Nichols, 35, cited and released in field for first-degree criminal trespass, Wiley Creek near railroad tracks. Pruitt cited and released. A caller had reported hearing several gunshots in the area.

8:04 p.m. – Linn County Jail served a warrant on Sha-Marie Lynn Wall, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct.

Aug. 29

12:01 a.m. – Lee Marvin Johnson, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief. Cited and released.

8:51 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of medication, 28100 block of Ridgeway. Report taken.

11:52 a.m. – Cody Isaiah Milligan, 21, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of minor in possession, 1118 Main St. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

12:54 p.m. – Caller found a syringe in her yard, 500 block of 17th. Officer disposed of the item.

1:32 p.m. – Caller reported a physical altercation, 25400 block of Crescent Hill. The aggressor’s scapula was broken. Report taken to be sent to district attorney for review.

3:35 p.m. – Caller reported that a bicyclist ran into her in the parking lot, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

5:31 p.m. – Caller found a wallet in the road, Main and Wiley Creek. Placed in found property.

6:39 p.m. – Rafael Isaac Robles, 27, cited for improper use of 9-1-1, 2424 Main St. Linn County Sheriff’s Office had reported receiving three 9-1-1 hang-up calls.

7:37 p.m. – Caller reported two males fighting, 41000 block of Highway 228. Report taken.

8:01 p.m. – Caller reported subjects smoking marijuana from a 2-foot bong on a balcony, 1200 block of Nandina. Officer warned a male subject for use of marijuana in public.

10:13 p.m. – Caller reported a domestic dispute between his mother and her boyfriend, 300 block of 7th Report taken for harassment.

10:45 p.m. – Caller reported a criminal mischief, 2400 block of Long. Report taken.

11:40 p.m. – Michael Ray Tomlinson, 29, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1265 44th Ave. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

Aug. 28

1:36 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs running loose and chasing people, 1400 block of Long. Placed in kennel.

8:01 a.m. – Daryl Wayne Burns, 57, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

8:22 a.m. – Caller reported locating a stolen vehicle, Whiskey Butte. Stolen vehicle recovered on Main Street and returned to owner.

11:27 a.m. – Andrea Joyce Ashby, 36, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 3100 block of Main.

3:01 p.m. – Caller reported volumes of garbage in a backyard and tall grass, 400 block of 7th. Referred to code enforcement.

4:17 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered a vehicle and stole cash, 44500 block of Quartzville. Report taken.

5:59 p.m. – Caller reported a male walking down the sidewalk carrying an ax and a knife, Highway 20 and Pleasant Valley. Officer contacted a male who was waiting for his mother to get off work and wanted to kill time by sharpening his ax.

9:14 p.m. – Caller reported a male putting something in his pocket and leaving, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.

Aug. 27

12:45 a.m. – Caller reported that a male tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill and then left in a silver car, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken.

11:20 a.m. – Christopher Kirt Edward Kaufman, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, probation violation on original charge of strangulation and failure to appear and new charges of third-degree escape and possession of stolen property, 12th and Poplar. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:57 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a cake, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $63.99.

4:42 p.m. – Kimberly Renee Lunn, 48, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments.

10:35 p.m. – Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office served a Swee Home warrant on Ryan Logan Binks, 24, for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft.

Aug. 26

1:31 a.m. – Joshua Wayne Welch, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Lebanon. Cited and released.

7:51 a.m. – Caller found a syringe in the roadway, 1200 block of 49th. Officer disposed of the syringe.

11:39 a.m. – Matthew Allen Pitts, 29, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment; and Bryan James Watts, 42, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of obstructing a government official, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows.

12:11 p.m. – Caller reported that a female stole items and left in a white van, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Report taken. Loss estimated at less than $100.

12:30 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of medication and jewelry worth $700, 28100 block of Riggs Hill. Report taken.

3:06 p.m. – Caller reported a dog barking for several days, 4400 block of Airport. Officer contacted a resident who was in the process of moving. There was no real solution to make the dogs stop barking. Owner planned to take them in at night.

3:32 p.m. – Tanner Lee Lester, 27, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree burglary and probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin and Sweet Home warrant for second-degree criminal trespass, 1000 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:22 p.m. – Caller found a flash drive. Placed in found property.

5:27 p.m. – Caller found a bike left outside her residence, 1200 block of 23rd. Placed in found property.

7:31 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a green 1994 Mazda B2300 pickup truck with no back window and a dent in the rear driver’s side, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.

8:41 p.m. – Jenifer Joleen Hanna, 39, cited and released in field on Albany warrants for third-degree theft, two counts of failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1100 block of Main.

Aug. 25

10:50 a.m. – Caller found a set of keys, 44500 block of Quartzville. Placed in found property.

1:11 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in her backyard threatening the caller’s husband, 1400 block of 1st. Owner returned and took possession of the dog.

1:59 p.m. – Caller reported a subject using a chainsaw, 2300 block of Harding. Officer contacted the subject and advised him of the ban. Activity ceased.

2:49 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of cans, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $10.

3:40 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of 32-inch TV worth $300, 28600 block of Scott Mountain.

4:07 p.m. – Johnny Lee Stone, 25, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

4:09 p.m. – Caller turned in a wallet found in the 600 block of Highway 20. Placed in found property.

5:25 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a bicycle from the caller’s garage, 800 block of 4th. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

7:03 a.m. – James Andrew Linder, 29, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft and Deer Creek Correctional Institution warrant for third-degree robbery, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11 a.m. – Matthew Carl Martin, 27, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of probation violation and third-degree theft, 1300 block of Long. Cited and released.

11:06 p.m. – Bryce Taylor Keenon, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1300 block of Long. Cited and released.
