10:40 a.m. – Jenifer Joleen Hanna, 40, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and Albany warrant for failure to appear on four original counts of second-degree criminal trespass, 1251 Wiley Creek Road. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:09 p.m. – Caller reported that someone dumped trash and it had names on it, 47th and Green River. Information noted.
5:16 a.m. – Caller reported that a black car with cameras on it and no license plate was driving slowly through the neighborhood, Oak Terrace and 8th. The caller started following it through town. A second caller reported that someone was following him. Officer contacted the male in the black car. The driver worked for a repo company and was in the area looking for a vehicle. First caller advised.
6:57 p..m. – Phillip Grant Passmore, 41, arrested for violation of a restraining order, first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass and Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth and distribution of meth, 4055 Osage St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported her ex had just been at her location and would not leave. She told police the male threw a rock at her, missing her but putting a hole in her door.
7:38 p.m. – Konane Nicoiulane, 24, cited and released on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence.
March 9
6:56 a.m. – Caller reported that a male had been in the restroom for an hour and refused to come out, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer contacted the male, who admitted to using the restroom longer than usual. Male warned for trespass.
8:54 a.m. – Zachariah Lee Davis, 28, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of attempted unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
9:12 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dogs constantly get out, damaging his fence in the process, 400 block of Oak Terrace. Officer contacted the caller and advised him of his options.
10:33 a.m. – Caller reported a loose pit bull wandering 23rd Avenue. Officer unable to locate.
10:42 a.m. – Caller reported a male standing at 12th and Nandina yelling about drugs. Officer contacted the male, who appeared to be having mental issues. He agreed to keep the noise down for the rest of the day.
11:48 a.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was keyed, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken.
11:58 a.m. – Caller reported his vehicle had been hit while parked in the Rio parking lot, 1439 Main St. Report taken. Loss valued at $720.
12:08 p.m. – Caller reported that a male asked her for drugs then threatened to shoot her dog, 12th and Nandina. Officer contacted a male who denied the reported activity but appeared to be having mental issues.
1:26 p.m. – Steven Wayne Richardson, 41, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Linn County.
1:29 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was dumping trash out of a truck, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer contacted a male and female who admitted to putting their trash in park trash cans. They agreed to do it elsewhere from now on.
5:02 p.m. – Caller reported an alpaca loose in the street, 2100 block of Cedar.
10:06 p.m. – Melony Irene Shockman, 43, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Corvallis. Cited and released.

6:15 a.m. – Caller reported that several people dressed in suits were jabbing his dog with needles, 4300 block of Main. Officer contacted the caller, who was under the influence of meth. He agreed to stay inside his residence until he calmed down.
7:53 a.m. – Caller reported a male in the parking lot acting strangely, kicking at the air and talking about seeing people who were not there, 4400 block of Main. Officer contacted the male, who agreed to return to his residence at the officer’s request.
10:17 a.m. – Rhett Jeremia Tucker, 22, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
11:50 a.m. – A 12-year-old referred for initiating a false report, 3205 Long St., Hawthorne Elementary. A caller had reported a threat toward a specific student written on a bathroom stall.
12:42 p.m. – Joshua Paul Eli, 29, arrested for probation violation, 1380 Quince St. Transported to Linn County Jail. A caller had reported a male pushing a female down and yelling at her.
1:23 p.m. – Michael Todd Sylvester, 53, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

1:23 a.m. – Caller reported finding a dog in her yard, 1300 block of Tamarack. Dog placed in kennel. Linn County Animal Control notified.

9:57 p.m. – Joel Damen Montoya, 43, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief and failure to register as a sex offender, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office. A caller had reported a transient harassing her when she went to get her mail. Officer contacted a group of transients, but no one acknowledged the complaint.

1:08 a.m. – Timothy Loren Ames Jr., 28, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft, possession of meth, two counts of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and carrying a concealed weapon, 21 Nandina St. Cited and released.
9:53 a.m. – Caller reported her tire was slashed, 1700 block of Grape. Report taken. Loss valued at $404.98.
11:20 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs at large, 3500 block of Flannigan. Officer responded. Dogs appeared to belong at location. Officer unable to catch up but planned to follow up with the owner of the dogs later.

7:43 a.m. – A 16-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller reported two teens tried to steal chips and energy drinks. Report taken. Stolen items valued at $7.78 were returned to store.
8:04 a.m. – A teacher flagged down a state trooper and advised that a suspicious male was walking on school property, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate.
8:29 a.m. – Caller reported an SUV had been parked by the gym for the past week, 5526 Poplar St., Foster Elementary School. Officer unable to locate the owner of the vehicle. Investigation continuing.

11:41 a.m. – Caller reported a cat in the alleyway behind her house had a cable tied around its neck, 2600 block of Kalmia. The caller advised of several different cases involving animal abuse and neighbors. Officer contacted the neighbors. The animals appeared fine and well cared for.
12:19 p.m. – Michael Wayne Ferebee, 63, and James Dudley Watkins, 38, cited and released in field for second-degree disorderly conduct, 4610 Main St. A caller had reported he and a neighbor got into a shoving match, which the neighbor had instigated. The caller said he was defending himself.
