1:08 a.m. – Officer found a bicycle, Wiley Creek Park. Placed in found property.

4:43 a.m. – Caller reported a male yelling for help, Main and Highway 228. Officer located a male having medical issues. He refused transport to the hospital by medics.

March 4

9:27 a.m. – Caller reported that someone scratched her car during the night, 2300 block of Long. Report taken.

10:45 a.m. – Caller reported that her neighbor’s dog was loose and being aggressive, 3100 block of Main. The caller said it was the second time this happened. Officer contacted the owner, who advised that the owner’s fence is secure but somebody keeps accidentally leaving the gate open. The owner will make an effort to keep the dog on the property.

12:17 p.m. – Cody Isaiah Milligan, 21, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of minor in possession of alcohol and Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass.

1:42 p.m. – Caller reported a small dog just ran into Thriftway, 621 Main St. Officer responded. Dog returned to owner. Owner warned for dog at large.

2:53 p.m. – Caller reported a deer was hit by a car and was in the roadway, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Animal dispatched and given to Oregon State Police to be used as a meat donation.

6:36 p.m. – Caller found and turned in for disposal a can with syringes inside, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Item seized.

7:15 p.m. – Caller reported that someone is trying to break down a door in the area, Old Holley and 8th. Officer contacted a resident who had locked himself out and used a hammer to get back in.

7:56 p.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Leslie, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Albany.

March 3

12:05 a.m. – Jeffrey Jerome Kessinger, 50, cited for speeding, 53 mph in a 25-mph zone, 1000 block of 22nd.

12:35 a.m. – Frederick Wilkins Cadger, 50, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and Linn County warrant for contempt of court and a new charge of possession of meth, 3137 Main St., Trailer Villa.

5:34 a.m. – Audrey Grace Smith, 24, cited for speeding, 45 mph in a 25-mph zone, 12th and Main.

7:05 a.m. – Caller reported a stray dog, Ames Creek and Mountain View. Officer responded. Unable to locate any loose dogs.

7:33 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit a guard rail, near west city limits on Highway 20. Report taken. Vehicle impounded.

8:35 a.m. – Caller reported hearing a dog crying and was concerned it may be getting attacked by another animal, 3200 block of Juniper. Officer responded. The caller explained it sounded like two dogs fighting at the same residence. Everything was quiet upon officer arrival. No one answered the door. Officer left a business card for contact.

8:41 a.m. – Single-vehicle crash, 24600 block of Brush Creek. Guardrail damaged. Vehicle towed. Driver not impaired. No citations. No injuries.

9:19 a.m. – Kenith Dell Laster, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Polk County. Cited and released.

9:22 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle backed into another vehicle then the driver got out and left on foot, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Officer contacted involved parties. Minimal damage to vehicles. Victim did not wish to pursue charges. Suspect denied the allegation.

11:24 a.m. – Kyle James Elmer, 23, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin, Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree escape and new charges of felony possession of heroin and misdemeanor possession of meth, 23rd and Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:33 a.m. – Caller reported a male walking back and forth waving his arms, 18th and Main. Officer contacted a male who claimed to be looking for a dog. Male may have had mental issues but was not a candidate for a police officer hold at the time.

12:07 p.m. – Bryce Taylor Keenon, 21, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for third-degree theft and failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 2295 Main St. Cited and released. Vehicle impounded.

1:44 p.m. – Caller reported that a male in the area is abusive to neighborhood cats and had possibly trapped a cat under his house to starve it to death, 4900 block of Larch. Officer responded and contacted the male, who had trapped a cat under his house. It was still meowing. Officer advised him that trapping is only permitted if he plans to rehome the animal. The male agreed to allow an opening in the crawlspace for the cat to escape.

2:40 p.m. – Samuel Bailey, 31, cited for maintaining a dangerous dog, 40900 block of Highway 228. Caller had reported her donkey was killed by a neighbor’s dog.

3:43 p.m. – India Spring Hathaway, 31, cited for driving while suspended, 3300 block of Juniper. Caller had reported that a female had just used heroin, got into a vehicle and left.

5:49 p.m. – Caller reported that her mother fell for a Facebook scam, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Information noted. Caller advised of options.

8:07 p.m. – James Robert Warrington, 39, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1303 Long St., Sweet Home Post Office.

8:08 p.m. – Randy Arnold Slone, 43, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court on original charge of failure to appear and cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1200 block of 44th.

8:15 p.m. – Caller reported a parked van with subjects acting weirdly, 18th and Kalmia. Officer responded, contacted the operator of the vehicle and advised the operator to move the vehicle and park in the correct direction. Unable to locate suspicious activity.

8:40 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle with a dead battery in the middle of the roadway, Mountain View and Long. Officer responded and assisted operator by jumping the battery.

9:02 – Caller reported that someone in a truck threw a can from the window and nearly hit the caller’s vehicle, 200 block of 18th. The caller said the vehicle was also speeding. A second caller reported that her daughter was followed home from Brownsville. Officer spoke with the second caller, who was afraid to go home because the first caller was following her. No sign of impairment.

9:03 p..m. – Ryan Andrew Adelman (Krause), 20, cited on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and contempt of court and probation violation, 600 block of Mountain View.

11:10 p.m. – Kevin Harold Flowers, 57, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a citation and cited for driving while suspended, Dogwood and 8th.

11:29 p.m. – Scott Kevin Heinz, 30, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, Dogwood and 8th.

March 2

7:43 a.m. – Caller reported a dog barking, 300 block of 7th. Officer responded and heard one or two dogs barking. Unable to contact anyone at residence. Officer left a card for contact.

8:20 a.m. – Caller reported a motor home parked partially in the roadway, making it difficult for traffic to go around it, Main and Wiley Creek. Officer responded. The RV was not in the roadway, but it was very close. Officer contacted a male and advised him of the city ordinance about living in RVs within the city limits. He planned to move it soon.

8:47 a.m. – Stacy Manuel Teixeira, 52, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on two original counts of possession of meth, 49th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:35 a.m. – Caller reported seeing a female shoot up heroin and drive away, 3300 block of Juniper. Officer checked area. Unable to locate.

10:24 a.m. – Allen Joseph Hall, 40, arrested by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:28 a.m. – Caller found a purse, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Placed in found property.

1:43 p.m. – Caller reported construction vehicles parking in the street daily, blocking a lane of travel and nearly causing an accident, 4300 block of Long. Officer responded and contacted a responsible person, who was building at the location. A trailer and trucks parked on the side of the road, partially blocking the highway but safely away from the intersection.

2:15 p.m. – Medics responded for a student at 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Juvenile transported to hospital by medics. Police investigation for possession of a controlled substance.

3:31 p.m. – Colin W. Church arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Marion County. Cited and released.

3:54 p.m. – Caller reported another vehicle hit hers while she was in the drive-through, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Parties exchanged information. Minor damage to one vehicle. No injuries. No citations.

4:13 p.m. – Caller reported a male passed out on the lawn by the back gate, 18th Avenue behind the Sweet Home Police Department. Male was sleeping. Officer advised him to move on, and he left.

5:23 p.m. – Caller reported that the Post Office said it delivered a package but the caller never got it, 1800 block of Vine. Officer responded. It may be a delivery issue or may have been stolen. The caller was not out anything because the company is replacing the item. Caller only wanted information noted.

6:02 p.m. – Caller reported a lost dog, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller canecelled the call when the owner came and collected the dog.

6:10 p.m. – Caller reported a car ran into the caller’s fence, 1800 block of 12th. Report taken. Information exchanged.

9:04 p.m. – Caller was walking and felt unsafe, Long Street near Hawthorne School. Officer gave the caller a courtesy ride to her friends.

9:50 p.m. – Caller reported a handheld gaming system and game taken from his vehicle, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High school. Report taken.

9:53 p.m. – Caller reported a back car door was open and the associated house was dark, 800 block of 8th. Officer contacted the registered owner. Nothing was missing. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate anything else suspicious.

March 1

1:46 a.m. – Caller reported a female was in her home and stole a laptop and $100, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows.

2:09 a.m. – Robert Alan Kelley, 27, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, 700 block of Oak Terrace.

3:04 a.m. – David Paul Gruwell, 51, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

5:31 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle and took her wallet, 1400 block of Sunset. Information noted. Nothing of value removed.

7:52 a.m. – Caller reported dogs barking all day long and acting aggressively, 7th and Ironwood. Officer checked area. Unable to locate dogs barking or any dogs around either residence.

8:31 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle and ransacked it, 1400 block of Westwood. Report taken. Loss valued at $30.

8:55 a.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 24, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and two counts of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

9:07 a.m. – A juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

9:26 a.m. – Caller reported that someone was checking door handles on vehicles during the night, and the caller had video footage, 1200 block of Sunset. Information noted.

11:31 a.m. – Andrew Jeremiah Epting, 33, cited and released in field for misdemeanor driving while suspended.

11:33 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his car during the night, 100 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.

11:40 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his wife’s vehicle during the night, 1300 block of Sunset. Report taken. Nothing of value stolen. Vehicle had been left unlocked.

11:44 a.m. – Caller reported finding some household garbage, a twin mattress and box spring next to Wiley Creek near the Wiley Creek Mainline and Buckmaster Road. Report taken.

2:41 p.m. – Todd Michael Keenon, 36, cited for following too closely in a two-vehicle crash, 1st and Highway 228. Drivers exchanged information.

12:33 p.m. – Caller found a wallet, 880 18th Ave., Sweet Home Senior Center. Placed in found property.

12:33 p.m. – Donald Dale Cliver, 64, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance, 355 11th Ave. Caller had reported a neighbor’s dog attacking a cat.

1:05 p.m. – Caller reported items missing from an unoccupied property, 41900 block of Marks Ridge. Property recovered and returned. Report taken.

1:47 pm. – Caller reported a friend had a computer and safe stolen, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken. Loss valued at $204.

3:22 p.m. – Ryan Joe Holley, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County. Cited and released.

3:24 p.m. – Jon Julian Robertson, 46, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Lebanon. Cited and released.

4:56 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her husband’s truck during the night, 000 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $160.

Feb. 28

12:53 a.m. – Caller reported an overdose, 5300 block of Poplar. Medics checked female. Items seized from location.

6:54 a.m. – Manzo Noe Nunez, 33, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male walking out of the store with a case of beer.

7:15 a.m. – Theodore Shinall, 39, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured in a single-vehicle crash, 29700 block of Berlin. Vehicle was in a ditch. No injuries.

7:59 a.m. – Sixteen-year-old referred to Juvenile Department for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Released to guardian. Caller had reported that a juvenile ran out of the store with a bag of chips.

9:05 a.m. – Caller reported a male attempting to get a hold of her via Facebook, 1100 block of Ironwood. The male has a no-contact order in place. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

10:06 a.m. – Forest Lee Steinborn, 25, arrested for contempt of court, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Municipal Court. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:26 a.m. – Melissa Jill Whitmore, 29, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 1540 Main S.t, Safeway. Caller had reported a female walking out of the store with movies.

11 a.m. – Caller reported a male running back and forth across the street, 4500 block of Main. Officer contacted the male, who advised he was trying to catch a bus, which is why he ran across the street. Officer advised him of the bus schedule. The male left the area.

1:08 p.m. – Caller reported that his vehicle was hit while parked in the 1200 block of 10th. Information noted.

1:37 p.m. – Caller requested that an officer look at messages threatening bodily harm on the caller’s phone. Officer contacted the caller. The messages were scam texts seeking money.

5:56 p.m. – Caller reported that his neighbor dumped chili powder along the fence line, 26000 block of 2nd. His dog had some on its snout. It was uninjured. The caller was unsure why his neighbor did this. The caller wanted it documented. He did not wish the Sheriff’s Office to do anything else.

7:17 p.m. – Caller reported a female was caught on camera attempting to enter sheds on caller’s property, 1700 block of Fir. When the caller confronted the female, she left in a black Volkswagen Jetta. Report taken.

7:58 p.m. – Donald Charles Ackeret, 29, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

Feb. 27

1:46 a.m. – Linn County Jail cited Shawn Michael Hoggatt, 33, on Sweet Home warrant for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle.

6:42 a.m. – Caller reported a pickup just hit a power pole and flipped over off Highway 228 near Fern Ridge Road. Officer located the crash outside the city limits. Linn County deputies were on scene. Firefighters extricated the driver, and medics transported him to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

8:45 a.m. – Caller found a loose dog, 2200 block of Main. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.

9:16 a.m. – Caller reported his neighbor’s dog was barking nonstop, 300 block of 7th. Officer responded. Unable to locate any dogs barking in the area. Officer left a business card for contact at the mentioned address.

9:24 a.m. – Larissa Arstill, 58, cited and released in field for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1214 Long St. One caller had reported a customer becoming aggressive when she could not pay her vet bill. Three additional callers had reported a female in the roadway stopping traffic.

9:46 a.m. – Shawn Michael Hoggatt, 33, turned in himself on Marion County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin, 1950 Main St. Cited and released.

9:58 a.m. – Stacy Manuel Teixeira, 52, cited and released in field on Lebanon Justice Court warrants for probation violation and failure to appear on a citation, 4310 Main St.

10:23 a.m. – Caller found a loose dog in the roadway near Cedar Shack, 4100 block of Main. Dog placed in kennel.

10:28 a.m. – Breanna Marie Johnston, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 15th and Main. Cited and released.

12:51 p.m. – Anna Rochelle House, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.

1:13 p.m. – A 15-year-old referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of marijuana, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.

1:36 p.m. – Ra Ross Allen Scott, 24, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lincoln County Jail.

3:40 p.m. – Caller found TASER probes stuck in a sweatshirt, 1000 block of 13th. Items placed in found property.

3:53 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle in front of a neighbor’s house, 900 block of 28th. Placed in found property.

4:42 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her truck and stole several items, 2200 block of Long. No sign of forced entry. Report taken.

4:50 p.m. – Caller reported trash and shopping carts filling a front yard, 2200 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement officer.

4:51 p.m. – Caller reported that a male was stalking her online and manipulating her friends, 3000 block of Main. Information noted. Investigation continuing.

11:44 p.m. – Eino Thomas Pruitt, 47, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of heroin and new charges of possession of meth and misdemeanor driving while suspended, 1100 block of Main. Cited and released.

Feb. 26

7:24 a.m. – Caller reported things stolen from her backyard, 2200 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $45.

7:35 a.m. – Officer found drug paraphernalia in a patrol car, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Officer disposed of items.

8:55 a.m. – Caller reported a 2-year-old boy missing, 1300 block of Tamarack. Officer responded. Child found sleeping in another room.

10:53 a.m. – Caller reported 15 chickens running loose, 4600 block of Airport Lane. Referred to code enforcement.

11:02 a.m. – Two callers reported that a female slapped them in the back of the head while on the bus, Liberty Road. Report taken for harassment. Investigation continuing.

11:17 a.m. – Quentin Wyatt Quadros, 20, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 13th and Main. Cited and released.

12:43 p.m. – Caller reported that someone dumped a couch, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Information noted.

1:02 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his vehicle and stole a camera, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken. Loss valued at $400.

1:11 p.m. – Caller found a wallet and debit card, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Placed in found property.

1:20 a.m. – Elizabeth Lynn Brown, 36, arrested for third-degree theft and a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-theft and probation violation, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

3:07 p.m. – Caller reported a dog just jumped into his vehicle at Thriftway, 621 Main St., and is not allowing anyone to go near it. Officer responded. Dog placed in kennel. Message left with owner.

3:42 p.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to break into her vehicle sometime during the night, 1700 block of Grape. Report taken.

4:25 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his vehicle about three days earlier, 1800 block of Kalmia. Report taken. Loss valued at $50.

4:42 p.m. – Caller reported her son’s bicycle was stolen during the night, 1300 block of 43rd. Report taken for second-degree theft. Loss valued at $250.

4:59 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a package from her mailbox, 1100 block of 38th. Report taken. Loss valued at $62.50.

6:23 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle just hit the center median, 1000 block of Main. Second caller reported her front tire blew and she crashed into the curb. No injuries. No citations. Vehicle towed.

6:33 p.m. – Caller reported her phone was stolen approximately one month earlier while she was visiting the Sweet Home Public Library. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,000.

6:59 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a safe from his house, 1800 block of 12th. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

7:14 a.m. – Caller reported a male was walking around the church parking lot swinging a golf club, 1347 Long St., Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Officer contacted a female who was practicing her golf swing. She agreed to stay away from the buildings and only use the sidewalk.

8:36 a.m. – Officer located improper tags on a vehicle, 1300 block of Main. Officer warned the driver for improper display of tags and failure to maintain lane. Officer seized tags.

9:47 p.m. – Robert Michael Butterfield, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:14 p.m. – Nicholas Warren, 38, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 18th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
