May 2

11:28 a.m. – A deputy assisted the California Highway Patrol, which had located a dumped vehicle from Oregon in its jurisdiction. 41000 block of Nichol Drive.

10:13 p.m. – Caller reported kayaks stolen from a residential detached shop in the 46000 block of Whiskey Butte Drive. Two kayaks were missing from a shop being constructed. They were described as a Red Whitewater 8-foot kayak valued at $1,000, and a green Dolphin kayak valued at $150. Report taken.

May 4

4:22 p.m. – Obed Pizarro, 35, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft and a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft and failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, 23rd Ave./Long St.

5:14 p.m. – Caller reported that her daughter and the daughter’s fiance stole her food stamps, 4400 block of Long St. A report was taken for second-degree theft. Value: $300.

9:11 p.m. – Caller reported that a young woman beat up her parents and left the location in the 1200 block of 44th Ave. A 16-year-old female was arrested for domestic violence fourth-degree assault. Lodged at Linn Benton Juvenile Department.

11:40 p.m. – Bryce Taylor Keenon, 25, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second degree criminal trespass, Mountain View Road /Elm St.

May 5

8:17 p.m. – Joey Dawayne Persinger, 28, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

May 6

3:31 a.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 28, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree attempted burglary, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

1:59 p.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie, 34, was taken into custody for second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, 1500 block of Main St. Cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of meth possession X2, failure to appear on an original charge of fourth-degree assault and failure to appear on an original charge of harassment. Cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft.

3:49 p.m. – Michael Dean Stratman, 20, was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured, 1100 block of Long St.

6:52 p.m. – A caller reported that he was threatened with a frying pan and spat upon, 1200 block of 47th Ave. Jimmie Don Crover, 61, was cited and released for harassment.

May 7

2:36 p.m. – A would-be camper was advised not to camp on Army Corps of Engineers land at the intersection of North River Drive and Foster Dam Road.

May 8

11:58 a.m. – Sheriff’s Office assisted California Highway Patrol after 1990 Ford Ranger from Sweet Home was found dumped in a canal in Merced, Calif. Owner had allowed someone to use the vehicle for a few years, according to Sheriff’s Office, and that person had allowed someone else to borrow it. The truck broke down outside of Roseburg and when the person borrowing it came back for it, it was gone.

1:54 p.m. – Caller reported theft of trail camera from Cascade Timber Consulting property in the 27300 block of Scott Mountain Road. Value: $600. Under investigation. Report taken.

3:01 p.m. – A loose cow was reported in the road in the 44400 block of North River Drive. Deputy attempted to locate its owner without success. The cow ran off into the woods.

May 9

5:11 a.m. – Aaron Ira Fetter, 47, was cited and released for hit-and-run, 1700 block of 13th Ave.
