11:23 a.m. – Joshua Leroy Surplus, 23, cited for failure to renew registration, driving uninsured and failure to carry proof of insurance, Rio parking lot off Main.
11:54 a.m. – Joshua James Gibbs, 17, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, 1200 block of 15th.
12:20 p.m. – Tony Scott Harden, 20, arrested on Lane County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of conditional release agreement violation and failure to comply on original charge of failure to appear. Harden also arrested for resisting arrest, interfering with a peace officer and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school and cited for improper positioning of pedestrian in roadway and failure to obey traffic control device, pedestrian, 1300 block of 15th. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:27 a.m. – Caller reported that his house was shot with a paintball gun, 1100 block of 29th. Officer responded. Information noted.
10:45 a.m. – Katina Le Ann May, 39, cited for speeding, 51-35, 24th and Main.
7:08 p.m. – Caller reported theft of prescription pills and cash, 700 block of Long. Report taken for third-degree theft. Approximate value was $40.
7:59 p.m. – Caller reported female came into location and used four $100 bills, 4804 Main St. Two were marked as counterfeit. The female stated she had just gotten the bills from Wells Fargo this week and would contact the bank on Monday. Information noted.
9:35 p.m. – Trina Dianna Humphreys, 41, arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), 907 Long St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
Dec. 3
12:33 a.m. – Caller reported that a husky just killed four of his chickens, 1300 block of 1st Avenue. Officer responded and attempted to locate dog.
12:54 a.m. – Caller reported daughter had been locked out of house for more than two hours and would like an officer to pick her up and take her to the Police Department since it was freezing outside, 4800 block of Main. Officer located female and provided a courtesy transport to the Police Department to wait for her mother.
8:32 a.m. – Caller reported vehicle entered during the night and property stolen, 500 block of Seventh. Officer took report for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree theft.
12:13 p.m. – Caller reported that his house was shot with a paintball gun for the second time, 4300 block of Airport. Officer responded and took report.
4:52 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle during the night, 800 block of Elm. Report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.

10:46 a.m. – Danny John Kleiven, 54, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 15th and Main. Cited and released.
11:12 a.m. – Caller reported theft of laptop valued at $150 from his house during the night, 1200 block of 44th. Report taken.
7:55 p.m. – Abraham John Woosley, 17, taken into custody for menacing, second-degree criminal mischief and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, 2974 Jefferson Court. Released to responsible adult.

8:51 a.m. – Raymond Charles Vaughan, 55, cited for failure to obey traffic control device in two-vehicle crash, 1300 block of Main. Second driver was Jenna Nichole Anderson, 25.
11:23 a.m. – Jason Daniel Huss, 13, taken into custody for possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Released to responsible adult.
2:42 p.m. – Caller reported that someone took $339.15 from his bank account without authorization using his personal information, 900 block of 22nd. Officer contacted caller. Information noted.
5:24 p.m. – Caller reported theft of $700 from wallet, Harding Street. Report taken.

12:09 p.m. – Eugene Lee Gaines, 35, arrested for third-degree theft, third-degree escape and attempted unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and Lebanon warrant for failure to comply on original charge of resisting arrest, 3026 Main St., Sun Motel.
10:22p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his house, 1600 block of Elm. Report taken for first-degree burglary and second-degree theft. Approximate value was $165.

12:26 a.m. – Tyler Scott Read, 25, arrested for probation violation, 1900 Kalmia St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
1:54 p.m. – Donald Ames Sr., 48, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief and harassment, 1111 Nandina St. Cited and released.
5:25 p.m. – Caller reported theft of vehicle while at work, 3200 block of Main.
8:33 p.m. – Mark Daniel Newens, 23, arrested for first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon, 1100 block of Nandina.
10:01 p.m. – Mark Daniel Newens, 23, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of carrying a concealed weapon and additional charge of third-degree criminal mischief, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
Nov. 28
4:30 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 1303 Long St. No injuries. No citations. Drivers were Mary Anna Cascio, 54, and Ping Li, 49.
5:02 p.m. – Caller reported the lock on his mailbox had been glued, 800 block of Mountain View. Report taken for third-degree criminal mischief.
10:18 p.m. – Shelby Orlandena Forrester, cited for violation of city noise ordinance, 4322 Long St.

11:41 a.m. – Caller reported four firearms missing from residence, 1000 block of North River. Firearms last seen in mid August. Total value approximately $3,500.
Nov. 26
8:40 p.m. – Caller reported theft of safe containing approximately $15,000 worth of jewelry, 41800 block of North River. Caller did have suspects, who have yet to be interviewed.
Nov. 25
3:49 p.m. – Caller reported theft of tree stand and ladder used for hunting during bow season, 43100 block of McDowell Creek. Valued at $150.
Nov. 22
6:18 a.m. – Mason Tagen, 20, arrested for possession of burglary tools, two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and third-degree theft, 40300 block of McQueen. Caller had reported hearing a motor start up outside and realized it was his own vehicle. He had left the keys in the ignition over night. Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported that Tagen had allegedly crashed into a ditch, taken another car and crashed into some mailboxes. He was located walking down the road and transported to Linn County Jail.
Nov. 21
9:50 a.m. – Caller reported that a male attempted to enter residence, 44500 block of North River. A male who appeared to be homeless was at the residence and was asked to leave and given a flashlight. No crime seems to have occurred. The incident was noted in case an issue continues.
12:49 p.m. – Caller reported theft of trail camera and memory card worth $140, taken from trail off the 300 main line, 26300 block of Scott Mountain.
4:36 p.m. – Caller reported that a chain and lock on gate were cut and replaced with a different lock, 51700 block of Highway 20, milepost 50. Property leads up to a cabin. No access issues. Caller did not find any tampering or anything missing but asked for extra patrol.
8:24 p.m. – Caller reported his friend missing, 44400 block of North River, Lewis Creek Park. Missing person located in Marks Ridge area by a logger going to work. Subject was safe and well after spending the night in the woods.
Nov. 20
8:18 p.m. – Five hikers reported caught by darkness and were unable to get back to their vehicle, 60700 block of Highway 126. They were mostly dressed for the winter and all of them ended up making it back to the vehicles safely.
