Nov. 20

5:23 a.m. – Kyle James Elmer, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree escape, Albany. Cited and released.

Nov. 19

2:40 a.m. – A 15-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for curfew violation, 1800 block of 12th.

2:58 a.m. – Steven Dean Fox, 24, cited for driving while suspended.

4:18 a.m. – Vehicle eluded an officer who attempted a traffic stop, 1000 block of Northside. Driver fled on foot. Vehicle seized. Report taken for attempting to elude.

9:06 a.m. – Caller reported finding a glass case with drug paraphernalia inside, 14th and Kalmia. Seized for disposal.

9:21 a.m. – Caller found needles in the parking lot, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Seized for disposal.

12:49 p.m. – Caller found a dog running down the road, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Dog placed in kennel.

2:34 p.m. – Caller reported that a female in a white Nissan hit his pickup and left without leaving information, 900 block of 28th. Report taken. Damage estimated at $1,000.

8:27 p.m. – Caller reported finding a cell phone outside her apartment, 2400 block of Long. Placed in found property.

11:33 p.m. – Earnie Leeroy Stockman Jr., 45, arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving and cited for failure to maintain lane, Main and 1st. Cited and released.

Nov. 18

12:21 a.m. – Jay Randall Nelson, 39, cited for driving while suspended, 1200 23rd Ave.

1:59 a.m. – Caller reported that someone cut open a rag top on a BMW, 1200 12th Ave, Chewy’s. Report taken.

10:31 a.m. – Callers reported a hit and run on the pass, Highway 20 milepost 41. Officer contacted all parties. Information exchanged. Report to be forwarded to the district attorney for review.

12:48 p.m. – Deputy recovered a stolen vehicle, Latiwi Creek Road.

3:36 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle with a broken axle causing a hazard, Long and Terrace. Vehicle removed by owner.

4:16 p.m. – Caller reported someone dumped a couch and a mattress, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Information noted.

7:15 p.m. – Caller reported a cash register stolen, 4804 Main St., Spoleto’s. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

8:38 p.m. – Alexis Kay Johnson, 19, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Highway 228 at west city limits.

Nov. 17

8:19 a.m. – Caller reported that her son’s Social Security number was used to charge more than $1,000, 1300 block of Sunset. Report taken for identity theft.

8:26 a.m. – Deputy found a pile of household garbage dumped near the east end of Green Peter Dam.

9:36 a.m. – Caller reported that the piano at 1502 Main St. has been gutted and transients are sleeping behind it. Referred to code enforcement.

10:56 p.m. – Caller found “fake bullet shells” while working in a yard, 4th Avenue. Seized for destruction.

11:23 a.m. – Caller reported a small dog continually running out and chasing her, other pedestrians and cars, 4100 block of Main. Officer warned the owner for dog at large.

1 p.m. – Caller reported a window broken, 1127 Long St., American Legion Hall. Report taken. Damage estimated at $150.

2:31 p.m. – Officer responded to a report of an injured female, 4100 block of Osage. Female had injuries, and medics transported her to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Report taken for domestic violence.

4:22 p.m. – David James Kamarec, 22, arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle, Foster Lake. Caller had reported the theft of a boat and that the man was rowing across the lake. Boat located and returned to owner.

6:57 p.m. – Byron Gene Marsh, 62, cited and released on Sweet Home warrant for first-degree forgery, Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and a criminal citation and Lebanon warrant for probation violation, 621 Main St. Caller had reported a male trying to pass a fake $100 bill.

10:17 p.m. – Caller reported a dog barking for more than 12 hours, 1200 block of 44th. Officer responded and heard muffled barking inside a house. Officer unable to contact owner. No one was home.

Nov. 16

12:16 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle and took a $5 bill from the cup holder, 38400 block of Glass Street, Crawfordsville. Report taken.

Nov. 15

9:42 a.m. – Caller reported a motor-vehicle collision, 25600 block of Brush Creek. Medics transported the driver, with injuries, to Samaritan Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis. Report taken.

9:51 a.m. – Robert Norman Jaques Jr., 36, cited for driving uninsured, 4200 block of Main.

9:59 a.m. – Kenneth Daniel Helfrich, 36, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft, 1483 Fern Lane. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:43 a.m. – Charas Lelainia Blanco, 44, arrested for contempt of court, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

11:09 a.m. – Kendra Lynn Montoya, 19, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for attempted third-degree theft, 1193 29th Ave.

11:21 a.m. – Caller found a debit card behind Circle K, 2405 Main St.

11:45 a.m. – A 17-year-old male arrested for first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sodomy, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Boy lodged at Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.

12:21 p.m. – Caller reported that a customer passed a counterfeit $20 bill a day earlier, 1303 Main St., Sweet Home Liquor. Bill seized.

1:42 p.m. – Caller reported that neighborhood cats defecate in his mother’s yard, 900 block of Cedar.

1:42 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a pistol from his home, 27000 block of Rowell Hill. Report taken.

1:45 p.m. – Caller reported neighbors staying in an RV with liquid dripping from the sewer line, 900 block of Grape.

1:48 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor possibly building too close to the property line, 4500 block of Long.

1:51 p.m. – Deputies assisted with the recovery of a large excavator that had fallen off a trailer and blocked traffic, 39900 block of Mountain Home-Scott Mountain Road.

1:57 p.m. – Robert Kenneth La Follette, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, Benton County. Cited and released.

2:18 p.m. – A tree fell across the road, 23800 block of Brush Creek. A passerby stopped and used his chainsaw to cut it up and remove it from the road.

5:12 p.m. – David Arroyo-Sandoval, 37, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for fourth-degree assault, harassment and failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Salem. Cited and released.

10:20 p.m. – Caller reported a male walking around houses with two bicycles that may have been stolen, 47th and Long. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate the male. Officer located a bike the male dropped and placed in found property.

Nov. 14

6:12 a.m. – Mark Aaron Lamb, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of reckless driving, Albany. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:50 p.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Dog located back on its property. Owner warned for dog at large.

2:08 p.m. – John McNabb, 47, arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, 28300 block of Liberty.

2:54 p.m. – James Matthew Reynolds, 32, cited for operating a vehicle while using a cell phone, Main and 18th.

3 p.m. – Multiple reports of open storage, trash and occupied RVs, 9th and 10th avenues. Several were reported violations were found not to be in violation of city ordinance.

3:39 p.m. – Multiple reports of ordinance violations, including a truck with a flat tire, open storage and an occupied RV, 800 and 900 block of Cedar. All but one report of trash were not found to be in violation.

5:03 p.m. – Caller reported a male hitting a female in the face then grabbing her and pulling her into the bushes, 1300 block of Long. Officer unable to locate.

6:40 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Report taken. Damage less than $1,500. No injuries.

9:24 p.m. – An RV and Ford Ranger parked off the roadway near Holley School, 40300 block of Crawfordsville Drive, tagged for removal.

Nov. 13

7:18 a.m. – Amanda Leah Binks, 24, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of contempt of court seeking punitive sanctions, 18th and Long.

8:07 a.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog continues to get out and defecate in her yard, 1700 block of 9th. Officer contacted the owner and warned her for dog at large.

12:01 p.m. – Desarae Josephine Fulbright, 18, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Cited and released. Caller had reported juveniles smoking marijuana in the gazebo. Officer responded but did not observe the described activity. Subjects denied the complaint.

2:28 p.m. – Caller reported that a foster daughter had a stolen cell phone, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Phone recovered and returned to owner. Report to be forwarded to Juvenile Department for consideration of theft charges.

3:40 p.m. – Luke Difalco, 59, cited for violation of city ordinance, open storage, 28130 Riggs Hill Road.

3:51 p.m. – Steven Scott Sims, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene. Cited and released.

6:07 p.m. – Caller reported a package stolen from the front porch, 3900 block of Osage. Report taken. Loss valued at $30.

7:36 p.m. – Brooke Annebelle Lavern Ackley, 16, cited for no insurance, 1100 block of 13th.

8:38 p.m. – Anthony Allen Ensley, 35, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation; and Laryssa Jean Cox, 28, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and a new charge of possession of heroin, 12th and Main. Ensley transported to Linn County Jail. Cox cited and released.
