Nov. 26

9:10 a.m. – Caller reported her Ford Expedition stolen, 1300 block of Quince. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,800.

12:02 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog broke out of the house and was in the caller’s house, 4200 block of Main. Officer unable to contact owner. Dog placed in kennel.

3:18 p.m. – Caller found a syringe by a trash can, 1000 block of Main. Seized for destruction.

4:54 p.m. – Karissa Lynett Williams, 38, turned in herself on a Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of third-degree assault, 3970 Osage St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:52 p.m. – Caller reported that her dog ran out of the house when she opened the door, 2600 block of Kalmia. Officer responded. Caller was able to corral the dog prior to arrival. No further action.

9:34 p.m. – Dale Jesse Grant Reeley, 29, cited for driving without a license and failing to provide proof of insurance, 53rd and Main.

10:13 p.m. – Jeremy Michael Hicks, 37, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree theft and new charge of possession of meth, 1100 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:59 p.m. – Caller reported his neighbor’s car door was wide open and no one was around, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer contacted the owner and resecured the vehicle at her request.

Nov. 25

1:23 a.m. – Female transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital for mental evaluation on a police officer hold, 5000 block of Mountain Fir.

9:42 a.m. – Serenity Nichole Tsosie, 19, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

10:31 a.m. – Caller reported a large number of batteries and various items stolen near milepost 1 on Wiley Creek.

11:49 a.m. – Noblelee Dawn Wright, 43, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

3:03 p.m. – Christopher Kirt Edward Kaufman, 27, arrested on Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, resisting arrest, reckless driving and failure to appear, 1200 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

5:05 p.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male yelling and hitting the side of her residence, 3200 block of Main. Officer located a 31-year-old male and trespassed him from the location.

8:03 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor constantly drives onto her lawn and tears it up, 1100 block of 27th. Officer responded and contacted the neighbor, advising him of some options for keeping his vehicle off of the caller’s property. Both parties are moving in the near future, and there should not be any further issues.

9:50 p.m. – Jesse Allan Cox, 45, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

11:02 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in her backyard and she believed someone was sleeping inside it, 1200 block of Clark Mill. Vehicle was unoccupied but parked on private property.

Nov. 24

12:35 a.m. – Caller reported that three people appeared to be trying to break into a building, 6000 block of Main. They had a dark blue Chevrolet. Officer unable to locate vehicle. Building was secure.

4:10 a.m. – David Paul Gruwell, 51, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, north side of Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St.

7:22 a.m. – Caller reported a male behind Circle K, 2405 Main St., with his pants down. The caller wanted a welfare check on the male and for him to move along. Officer contacted the subject, who was fine and moved along. He was trespassed from the location.

7:42 a.m. – Robin David Fox III, 27, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware.

7:46 a.m. – David Paul Gruwell, 51, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 3100 block of Main. Cited and released. Officer had located an unruly person in the roadway.

8:07 a.m. – James David Stedman III, 28, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, Polk County Jail.

8:56 a.m. – Caller reported two vehicles damaged during the night, 1200 block of 41st. Report taken.

10:35 a.m. – Caller reported a male assaulting his daughter while another reported a possible altercation, 900 block of 12th. Report taken.

11:17 a.m. – Cruz Ortiz Jr., 33, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of meth; and Pablo Sergio Angeles, 30, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of meth and carrying a concealed weapon and cited for driving while suspended, Main and 4th. Both transported to Linn County Jail. Vehicle reported stolen from Washington County recovered.

1:38 p.m. – Elizabeth C. Jones, 59, cited for driving uninsured, 1201 1st Ave. Vehicle impounded. Caller had reported a vehicle driven by a female hitting a parked car. Paperwork left for victim.

2:11 p.m. – Caller found a wallet in his yard, 4300 block of Airport. Placed in found property.

2:21 p.m. – Caller reported a window broken, 1728 Long St., River of Life Fellowship. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

2:31 p.m. – Caller found a dog running loose, 5th and Ironwood. Placed in kennel. Collected by owner.

3:15 p.m. – Caller reported a gas can and 5 gallons of fuel stolen, 39600 block of Highway 228.

4:25 p.m. – Wendy Kathleen Clark, 57, cited for no license and failure to register vehicle, 23rd Avenue.

4:45 p.m. – James Leroy Salvador, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.

6:29 p.m. – A 14-year-old male taken into custody and referred to the Juvenile Department for fourth-degree assault, 41800 block of Marks Ridge. Transported to Oak Creek Detention Center. Caller had reported that a male subject kicked his brother during an argument, 41800 block of Marks Ridge.

7:12 p.m. – Callers reported a dog barking constantly for the past hour and barks for hours every night, 1300 block of Poplar. Officer unable to locate owner and left business card.

7:28 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of $200 and five credit cards, 1000 block of Pleasant Valley.

8:01 p.m. – Caller reported a small dog running back and forth across the street, 2700 block of Long. Officer located the dog, but it would not let the officer get close.

8:41 p.m. – Caller reported that a neigbor’s dog was loose, standing in front and barking for the past hour, 1000 block of 13th. Officer responded. Owner wasn’t home. Dog went inside, and officer closed the gate.

Nov. 23

2:24 a.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 30, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of failure to appear, 12th and Poplar. Transported to Linn County Jail.

7:10 a.m. – Brandon John Cassidy Kirby, 25, arrested on Multnomah County warrant for second-degree trespass, 1530 Main St., Santiam Drug. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male with no shirt hitting a pole with his hand and head.

10:17 a.m. – Joel Thomas Chaney, 39, cited for driving while suspended, Main and Osage.

Nov. 22

12:33 a.m. – Caller reported a black Honda Civic had just rear-ended her vehicle then sped away, Main and Highway 228. Report taken. Damage valued at less than $1,500.

10:12 p.m. – Caller reported a restraining order violation, 25000 block of West Brush Creek. Report taken.

10:59 am. – Caller reported a male sleeping behind the church and would like him trespassed, 2590 Long St., Bethel Lutheran Church. A male subject and a female subject trespassed from location.

11:08 a.m. – Caller reported that neighbors are neglecting their animals and not feeding them, 2200 block of Nandina. Officer responed. The caller said a cat continually comes into her house. The officer returned the cat to its house. The caller was to call back if there were further issues.

11:32 a.m. – Caller reported that someone cut the lock on a gate, 1443 Long St., Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Information noted.

11:51 a.m. – Public Works turned in a sharps container, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Seized for destruction.

3:35 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was in a sleeping bag in the pavilion, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer contacted a male subject who is allowed to be in the park during those hours.

4:02 p.m. – Brandon John Cassidy Kirby, 25, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass, Sankey Park.

6:21 p.m. – Caller reported a 2-year-old child missing, 4300 block of Long. Officer responded. Child found behind a couch prior to arrival.

6:44 p.m. – Caller reported her license plates stolen, 4800 block of Main. Report taken.

6:41 p.m. – Amy Danielle Ward, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, resisting arrest and failure to appear, 1337 Tamarack St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

Nov. 21

2:59 a.m. – Kristopher Moak, 31, arrested for parole violation. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:52 a.m. – Caller reported school raffle money stolen from a student, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $55.

10:53 a.m. – Daniel Charles Steiger, 32, arrested on Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and a new charge of possession of meth, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:30 a.m. – Caller reported that someone brought an abandoned motor home onto the caller’s property and attempted to establish residency, 28600 block of Highway 20. The female occupant was warned for trespassing, and she agreed to leave by the next day.

1208 p.m. – Caller reported that someone pitched a tent in the wetlands behind the caller’s property, 4100 block of Long. Officer responded. The tent was unoccupied. The officer spoke with a resident next to the lot. The resident planned to remove and dispose of the tent.

12:16 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject with two barking dogs pitched a tent, Pleasant Valley Boat Ramp. Officer responded. No tent. Male and dogs were leaving the area.

2:02 p.m. – Male subject transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital on a police officer hold for mental evaluation, 1400 block of Westwood.

2:51 p.m. – Caller reported an accidental discharge of a firearm, 1200 block of 47th. Report forwarded to city attorney for review.

2:58 p.m. – R.C. Phillips, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

3:06 p.m. – Caller reported that a person who had been trespassed were on school property, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken.

3:45 p.m. – James Eugene Mobley, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1400 block of Long. Cited and released.

7:43 p.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle had just hit a power box at 40th and Osage. Officer responded. Unable to locate vehicle. Pacific Power restored power. Damage estimated at $6,000.

Nov. 20

8:49 a.m. – A 13-year-old male taken into custody for first-degree disorderly conduct, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Referred to Juvenile Department and released to parent.

9:39 a.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to break into her residence during the night while she was asleep, 2200 block of Kalmia. Report taken.

10:58 a.m. – Weston Donovan Thompson, 26, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant contempt of court for failure to appear and Lebanon warrant for probation violation and contempt of court on original charge of minor in possession; and Shauna Ray Harden, 23, cited for driving uninsured and driving while suspended, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Thompson transported to Linn County Jail.

11:37 a.m. – Caller reported that someone dumped garbage in the Santiam Drug dumpster, 1530 Main St. Caller wanted subjects counseled and garbage removed. Officer planned to attempt to locate the subjects.

3:12 p.m. – Tyson Derek Boren, 34, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving under the influence, Long and 18th. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

3:16 p.m. – Jon Julian Robertson, 46, arrested for third-degree criminal mischief and possession of meth, 1900 Kalmia St. Cited and released.

6:22 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in her carport barking at her children, 5500 block of Main. Officer unable to locate.

6:49 p.m. – Caller reported that someone had been living in the storage area for the restaurant, 2434 Main St., Casa de Reyes. Officer responded and found that someone had been staying on the property. Property seized, and extra foot and vehicle patrols planned.

8:18 p.m. – Carson Albert Strasser, 27, arrested on state warrant for parole violation, Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and new charges of third-degree escape, second-degree criminal trespass and possession of heroin, 1980 Main St., Bi-Mart. Cited and released.
