4:26 p.m. – Chief Jeff Lynn reported to a motor-vehicle crash, 3200 block of Main St. Damage over $2,500, plus injury. Derl Scott Brown, 35, was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured.
11:09 p.m. – Sheena Nicole Olsen, 36, was arrested on a Hubbard Police Department warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of reckless driving.

2:31 a.m. – Jamie Crystal Glass, 28, was arrested on an Oregon State Police warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Oregon State Police.
3:57 a.m. – Victim of a Sept. 2 hit-and-run called the Sheriff’s Office to report it. Someone ran into mailboxes. 41600 block of Northside Drive. Report taken.

October 6
12:35 a.m. – Deputy responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the 41600 block of Northside Drive. Mailbox damaged. Estimated damage $120. Report taken.
8:04 a.m. – David M. Russell, 40, of Sweet Home, was cited for outstanding warrants out of Sweet Home and Albany municipal courts following investigation by Sheriff’s deputies of littering violation. Russell advised he had someone on the way to remove the camper he was staying in, North River Drive/Foster Dam Road. Russell’s trailer, still there, was tagged Thursday by the Army Corps of Engineers and a deputy left a card telling him to remove it ASAP. On Friday morning a deputy found Russell sleeping in the trailer, and he was warned that if he and the trailer were still on Corps property the following day, he would be arrested for trespassing, according to the Sheriff’s log. When a deputy checked Saturday afternoon, the trailer was gone and the site was clean. Report taken.
9:26 a.m. – Weezer Leviathan Ciccone, 46, was cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass, Foster Lake Market, 5401 Main St.
2:16 p.m. – Deputy contacted a transient female who was, according to the Sheriff’s Office, littering and attempting to reside at BLM dispersed camp site in 50500 block Quartzville Road. Advised to vacate the site.
4:25 p.m. – Travis Stach Sells, 31, of Sweet Home, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle following traffic stop in 5900 block Poplar St.
4:45 p.m. – David Michael Russell, 40, was arrested on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
October 7
2:01 a.m. – Shelby Keither Brigham, 55, was arrested on a Linn County Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of failing to report as a sex offender, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
4:56 a.m. – Joe Allen Wayne Wood, 32, was arrested on Linn County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of strangulation and contempt of court, 1200 block of Wiley Creek Road. Arrested on Albany Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court. Arrested on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for driving with a suspended license. Arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of first- and second-degree criminal trespass.
10 a.m. – Deputy assisted the county Planning and Building personnel with a visit to a nuisance property in the 27100 block of High Deck Road that they’d received a complaint about.
2:58 p.m. – Caller reported a female hitting gas pumps with her vehicle at Chevron, 1306 Main St.. Sheri Yvonne Bower, 49, was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving with no insurance.
10:30 p.m. – Crystal Dawn Strickland was cited and released for driving with a suspended license and giving false information to police, 3100 block of Main St. Cited for failing to install an ignition interlock device and driving uninsured. Cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving, a Lebanon Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of a criminal citation, a Marion County Circuit Court warrant for giving false information to police, a Linn County Justice Court warrant for driving with a suspended license and an Albany Municipal warrant for second-degree theft.

8:47 a.m. – Caller reported a syringe on the sidewalk, 1300 block of Main St. Officer responded; item placed in sharps container.
4:22 p.m. – A repeat-offender transient was advised to clean up and vacate a dispersed camping site in the 44700 block of Quartzville Road, near Whitcomb Creek Park.

8:15 a.m. – Deputies responded to a call regarding someone shooting a deer in the 28600 block of Jones Road. Deer was shot legally. No action taken.
10:14 a.m. – Deputies investigated a hit-and-run reported in the 40700 block of Upper Calapooia. Report taken.
3:07 p.m. – Leslee Huerta-Fernandez, 35, was cited for a dog at large, Sweet Home Police Department.
5:31 p.m. – Caller reported a battery taken from a trailer, 900 block of 14th Ave. Officer responded; report taken for second-degree theft. Approximate loss of value: $200.
8:09 p.m. – Deston Lee McQuistion, 23, cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for unsafe boating, 5500 block of Nandina St.

8:45 a.m. – Rachell Ann Gandrud, 40, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.
10:16 a.m. – Sheriff’s Office responded to Cascade Timber Consulting employees’ discovery of a Polaris Ranger 500, stolen out of Florence on Oct. 29, 2020, on CTC property, West Brush Creek/Brush Creek roads. The owner was notified and will arrange with CTC to pick up the vehicle.
11:23 a.m. – Denise Rochelle Burrow, 54, was cited and released on Linn County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of a criminal citation/possession of meth X8 and failure to appear on original charges of a criminal citation and first-degree criminal trespass X9, 200 block of Nandina St.
