Oct. 18

9:08 a.m. – Caller reported that a log truck had tipped its load over in the 24200 block of Brush Creek Road/Childers Drive. The truck’s rear trailer caught the shoulder and tipped, causing its logs to spill into the ditch. The involved vehicles sustained minimal damage. No crimes.

12:32 p.m. – Deputy checked on a report of a trespasser in the 1200 block of Rigg Hill Road/Hwy. 20. Found tent with a “weathered” interior, appeared to be abandoned. No one was in the tent and no personal belongings were around.  

12:49 p.m. – Kyle James Elmer, 30, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree escape, 1800 block of Long St.

8:48 p.m. – Ieesha Raenae Gatchell, 25, was cited for driving uninsured, 1360 block of Main St.

11:36 p.m. – Gregory Allen Tibbs, 53, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Albany Police Department.

Oct. 19

4:59 a.m. – Randolph Hagans, 60, was cited for driving with a suspended license, 19th Ave./Main St.

7:23 p.m. – Billy Joe Richardson, 55, was cited and released on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 2440 block of Long St.

8:19 p.m. – Deputy located a female with “severe mental health issues” on the side of the road in the 1000 block of Pleasant Valley Road in the darkness and pouring rain. She was not a traffic hazard and was on the shoulder, but she returned home when asked to do so.

Oct. 20

12:10 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor is banging on walls and screaming for people to leave her apartment, 2440 block of Long St. Officer responded; Paula Murrison, 63, was cited for city ordinance noise violation.

8:04 a.m. – Jonathan Donald Teixeira, 18, was cited for no valid driver’s license and driving uninsured, 2000 block of Main St.

1:58 p.m. – Lester Lee Hendrix, 46, was arrested on a Linn County Jail warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving with a suspended license X2, Linn County Jail.

2:04 p.m. – Heather Lynn Thompson, 41, was cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on original charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, a first-degree charge, and a criminal citation, Old City Hall. Cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for second-degree criminal mischief.

3:11 p.m. – Taylor Robert Mespelt, 20, was arrested on an Oregon State Correctional Institution warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, giving false information to a law enforcement officer, and failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 block of Main St. Oregon State Correctional Institution.

7:41 p.m. – Ciaran Terry Whatley, 39, was cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, Clark Mill Road/Main St.

11:55 p.m. – Caller reported a tool theft from a vehicle, 4930 block of Larch Court. Officer responded; report taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree theft. Approximate loss of value: $440.

Oct. 21

2:52 a.m. – Roy Rodney Robinson, 53, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft, Main St./41st Ave.

11:39 a.m. – Shauna Ray Harden, 27, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of fleeing or attempting to elude police, 2400 block of Main St. Cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal warrant for driving with a suspended license, and Linn County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, meth possession and failure to appear on an original charge of providing false information to a police officer. Cited and released on Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of a citation.

4:26 p.m. – Brian Dennis Haproff, 42, was cited and released for domestic violence harassment and interfering with making a report, 1240 block of 23rd Ave.

4:41 p.m. – Jay Boyd Marsh, 57, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.

9:48 p.m. – Kristopher Scott Clark, 30, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Oct. 22

3:37 a.m. – Rondel Allen Adams, 30, was arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant for a parole violation. Arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of a citation and second-degree disorderly conduct. Arrested on a Lebanon Municipal warrant for driving with a suspended license violation X3. Arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, 1000 block of Nandina St.

7:41 a.m. – Kyle Breagger, 20, of Sweet Home, was arrested for domestic violence – strangulation, 41200 block of Hwy. 228. Report taken.

11:17 a.m. – Caller reported decorative metal gate stolen off driveway entrance, 46000 block Hwy. 20. Report taken.  

11:23 a.m. – Tami Jeneca Smith, 54, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal driving with a suspended license, Albany Police Department.

11:46 a.m. – Deputy was contacted by Cascade Timber Consulting after a male was found burning trash on spur road on CTC property at the beginning of Canyon Creek Road at Highway 20. The male put out the fire and fled the area when confronted about dumping trash. Report taken.

12:12 p.m. – Caller reported a burglary in the 28600 block of Ridgeway Road. Someone broke into a shed and stole hand tools. Total loss estimated at between $2,000 and $3,000. Report taken.  

7:15 p.m. – Sophie Rose Huss was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft of services, Deschutes County.

9:36 p.m. – Deputy gave a ride to a male who was lost on the Green Peter 600 line.

Oct. 23

11:57 a.m. – Brian Peter Warzinik, 42, was cited and released on Benton County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on original charges of resisting arrest X2, interfering with an officer X2, offensive littering X2, second-degree burglary, second-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass. Cited and released on Benton County Circuit Court warrants for menacing, resisting arrest, interfering with an officer and second-degree disorderly conduct, 1000 block of 12th Ave.

1:16 p.m. – Caller reported two vehicles drove around MS 1100 Campbell Global gate in the 50000 block of Quartzville Road. Suspects identified. Investigation continuing.

5:40 p.m. – Latricia Barnes, 60, was cited for a dog at large.

7:48 p.m. – Buzz Star Dodson Jr., 23, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 2400 block of Long St.

Oct. 24

8:15 a.m. – Cody Allen Bowman, 32, was cited for driving with a suspended license, 3230 block of Main St.

9:18 a.m. – Caller reported that someone ran into mailboxes, 4600 block of Main St. Officer responded; report taken for hit-and-run. Approximate damage: $1,500.

11:20 a.m. – Elias Mendoza, 18, was cited for failure to carry and present a driver’s license, 15th Ave./Main St.

12:58 p.m. – Derek Armond Johnson, 52, was arrested on a Linn County Jail warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County Jail.

11:39 a.m. – Deputy responded to a report of a trespass and possible game violation on Campbell-Global property in the 48700 block of Quartzville Road. Unable to locate anyone on the property, but there was evidence of vehicles driving around a gate and another gate had its lock broken off and was standing open. The property owner was notified.  

1:26 p.m. – Caller reported that someone had siphoned fuel from his truck, 5200 block of Nandina St. Officer responded; report taken for second-degree theft. Approximate value: $200.

8:10 p.m. – Mallory Shirley, 30, was cited for driving with a suspended license, 1200 block of Main St.

Oct. 25

2:23 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor yelling and banging on walls, 2440 block of Long St. Officer responded; Paula Murrison, 63, was cited for noise violation.
