10:08 a.m. – Weyerhaeuser lessee warned for trespassing on Campbell Global property. According to Sheriff’s report, lessee has been warned “multiple times” for trespassing. Trespasser warned and Weyerhaeuser notified of issue.
12:59 p.m. – Kevin Scott Heinz, 32, turned himself in on a warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of driving while under the influence of intoxicants, 1950 Main, Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released from the police department lobby.
2:11 p.m. – Caller reported employee who no longer works at business continuing to show up for work. Deputy contacted caller, Linn County Mental Health, and conveyed that information.
3:09 p.m. – Caller reported three storage units were broken into this morning, has video, 1294 44th, A Squared Storage. Officer responded, report taken.
3:11 p.m. – Lloyd Growcock, 45, cited and released during a traffic stop for failure to obey a traffic control device, 18th and Main.
3:20 p.m. – Caller reported a female at Subway, 1280 10th, shouting and refusing to leave. Officer responded, contacted female and trespassed her from the location.
3:43 p.m. – Deputies responded to armed disturbance, learned that Joel Soto, 25, of Sweet Home had discharged a firearm and allegedly pointed the weapon at caller. When deputies arrived, Soto fled into wooded area. Numerous deputies and an LCSO canine were unable to locate him. Report taken.
4:06 p.m. – Prineville Police Department arrested Michell Dawn Slay, 32, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of disorderly conduct.
5:59 p.m. – Caller reported damage to a storage unit, Store-All, 1299 45th. Officer responded, info noted. Caller believes renter may have attempted access to their storage unit. Will handle civilly.
6:43 p.m. – While on a traffic stop, officer found a male with a Lebanon warrant., 22nd and Main. Freddie Sieber, 58, arrested for contempt of court on an original charge of second-degree theft. The driver, Douglas Pickle, 49, was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and failure to register a vehicle.
6:48 p.m. – Deputy contacted group camped at milepost 10 on Quartzville Road, advised them to move on. Followed up on reports of tractor trailer traveling on Quartzville and Forest Service Road 11. Patrolled to Highway 22, but did not locate truck.
7:25 p.m. – Brian Clement, 49, was arrested on three charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree mischief, possession of a burglary instrument, and first-degree theft, 22nd and Main. Lodged at Linn County Jail, cited for driving uninsured and failure to display a plate, vehicle impounded pending search warrant.
10:46 p.m. – Caller reported two males sleeping in parking lot, 12th and Kalmia. Officer responded and arrested Machaelray Jensen, 39, on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass. Also trespassed from caller address.
August 4
3:23 a.m. – Caller reported a male called her and said there are two men outside his trailer, 4800 block of Main. Officer responded, contacted male who is having paranoia issues. Caller is coming to get male.
4:22 a.m. – Caller reported back door at location is open, 1313 Main, The New Era. Officer responded, business is now secured.
5:52 a.m. – Katherin Pauleen Bly, 49, arrested by Benton County Sheriff’s Office on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft.
5:52 a.m. – Jimmie Lee Barton, 47, cited by Benton County Sheriff’s Office on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft.
9:23 a.m. – Multiple mailboxes struck by hit and run driver earlier in morning. Suspect vehicle may be blue 2008 Ford Edge or Focus. Investigation ongoing.
10:27 a.m. – Niki Cowley White, 27, turned herself in to SHPD, 1950 Main, on a Benton County warrant for recklessly endangering another person and driving under the influence of intoxicants.
11:04 a.m. – Caller reported a dog has lacerations on its back, believes someone caused them, 1000 block of 14th. Officer responded, dog has fleas, lacerations are from the dog scratching. Nothing criminal.
12:02 p.m. – Caller reported someone has been shooting firearms in the area the last four nights, located bullets, 300 block of Holley. Officer responded, info noted. Caller requests extra patrols in area during evening hours, was advised to call when it is occurring.
1:16 p.m. – Vehicles bearing license plates 616KDY and 040DBS posted for removal on the 7th, 2200 block of Nandina.
6:08 p.m. – Caller reported a female who is trespassed is in the parking lot, Thriftway, 621 Main. Officer responded, Kellie Ann Hesson, 53, cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass.
7:32 p.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on brother, who may be suicidal, 900 block of Long. Officer responded, unable to locate male.
7:43 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke into his house, took $300 worth of items. 44400 block of Wiley Creek Drive.
7:51 p.m. – Two callers reported possible gunshots or fireworks in the area, 2400 block of Long. Officer responded, unable to locate.
8:36 p.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 27, cited for driving while suspended during a traffic stop, Dollar General, 1937 Main.
9:17 p.m. – Caller reported a female is outside with a rifle, 3100 block of Main. Officer responded, female was never seen with a rifle. Female was counselled, info noted.
9:30 p.m. – Caller reported she was given a container with meth in it, 400 block of Holley.
9:31 p.m. – Multiple callers reported gunshots and people screaming that someone has been shot, 1200 block of 49th. Officer responded, David Charles Johnson, 64, arrested for second-degree assault, attempted assault, and unlawful use of a weapon. Lodged at Linn County Jail.
10:15 p.m. – Kelli Wyscaver, 53, of Lebanon, arrested for first-degree criminal trespass. 26700 Greenville Road.
10:37 p.m. – Caller requests female be trespassed from her residence, 1500 block of Tamarack. Officer responded, female trespassed from caller residence, caller trespassed from female’s residence.
11:52 p.m. – Caller reported two gunshots and vehicle speeding off, 12th and Poplar. Officer responded, checked area, unable to locate.
August 5
12:23 a.m. – Albany Police Department located Jacob Mitchell Thurber, 28, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft.
3:12 a.m. – Caller reported strange sounds coming from bushes and would like officer to check the area, 400 block of Holley. Officer responded, contacted a female who was yelling in the area. She was given a ride by a citizen away from the area.
3:57 a.m. – Citizen reported unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, 1700 block of Long.
5:53 a.m. – Caller reported vehicle was entered overnight, 1600 block of 11th. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and third-degree theft. Approximate loss valued at $50.
6:14 a.m. – Caller reported fence was cut again, 18th Avenue Sweet Home school bus garage. Officer responded, report taken, damage valued at $50.
6:20 a.m. – Caller reported girlfriend’s unlocked vehicle was broken into, everything taken, 2100 block of Long.
6:27 a.m. – Caller reported a red SUV parked in a no parking zone with no plates, 1200 block of Nandina. Officer responded, red Honda CR-V was listed as stolen out of Salem Police Department. Vehicle has been recovered and towed to Lloyd Rice towing, owner notified. No plates on vehicle, Salem PD advised and will enter plates as stolen.
7:10 a.m. – Caller reported mother’s green Honda CR-V was stolen overnight, 3100 block of Long. Officer responded, report taken, vehicle bearing license plate ZWJ757 entered as stolen.
8:14 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle taken overnight, 1700 block of Fir. Officer responded, report taken. Vehicle bearing license plate UHC804 entered as stolen.
9:06 a.m. – Caller reported a loose pig in the area, is currently in the backyard of one of the caller’s properties, 1100 block of 18th. Caller called back before officer arrival, stating pig had been returned to owner.
9:14 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle was stolen overnight, 900 block of 27th. Officer responded, report taken, Vehicle bearing license plate 160BHU entered as stolen.
10:07 a.m. – Caller reported children have been trespassing on property and some property has been damaged, 605 Elm, Oak Heights Elementary.
10:17 a.m. – Officer located stolen vehicle, 18th and Dogwood, vehicle bearing license plate ZWJ757 returned to owner.
9:20 a.m. – Deputy investigated suspicious fires set at CTC gate, 1000 block Turbyne Road. Investigation continuing. Report taken.
10:22 a.m. – Caller reported a dark SUV stuck in a pond on Old Mill Property, male messing with it. Officer responded, contacted male, he is working on getting his vehicle out of the pond.
11:39 a.m. – Caller located his stolen vehicle, 1800 block of Kalmia. Officer responded, vehicle bearing license plate UHC804 returned to owner.
12:15 p.m. – Caller reported male is threatening him with a stick, 1100 block of 55th. Officer responded, caller was not at location, contacted female and male who denied reported activity. Female will leave location, she believes caller will continue to call if she doesn’t. Heather Kelly, 40, cited and released in the field for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, and cited on an Albany warrant for first-degree criminal trespass.
1:18 p.m. – Caller reported someone went through his shed last night and ripped out wires to his camera, 1200 block of 46th. Officer responded, report taken for theft and criminal mischief. Approximate theft valued at $200 and damage valued at approximately $100.
2:38 p.m. – Caller reported an abandoned vehicle by the Clark Mill ponds.
2:58 p.m. – Caller reported a female scared his kids by screaming at nothing, Sankey Park. Officer contacted female, who was having minor mental health issues. Not in violation of park regulations, advised to take her property with her when she leaves.
5:04 p.m. – Officer located unoccupied stolen vehicle, 2200 block of Kalmia. Vehicle returned to owner.
5:26 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was entered last night, 2000 block of Long. Report taken, no damage and no items taken.
5:47 p.m. – Jesse Davis, 25, of Sweet Home, arrested on warrant for failure to appear on driving under the influence charge out of Sweet Home Municipal Court. Davis was stopped while riding a dirt bike in 41200 block Lacomb Drive. Cited for driving while suspended, released at scene.
9:22 p.m. – Caller reported a driver had rammed her vehicle, which was parked in the driveway, pushing the car into her house. Deputy located license plate at scene. Suspect denied incident, telling deputy she had not been to Cascadia in over a month. She was arrested and issued a citation for first-degree criminal mischief. 47500 block Cascadia Drive.
10:49 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle drove over parking curb and into a field, 500 block of Main. Officer responded, contacted female who has moved the vehicle into a parking spot. Kelli Wyscaver, 53, cited and released on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of attempting to elude police, unlawful possession of meth, and failure to appear on a criminal citation.
August 6
5:04 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office cited Shauna Ray Harden, 26, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.
5:08 a.m. – Albany Police cited Christopher Andrew Jones, 24, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft.
11:12 a.m. – Caller reported her brother is making suicidal statements, 100 block of Osage. Officer responded, contacted family by phone, male is not currently home, will make calls to try to find him.
12:05 p.m. – Corvallis Police cited Anthony Edward Jackson, 38, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft.
12:51 – Caller reported female having mental health problems and is a danger to herself and others, 415 Holley, Church of Nazarene. Officer responded, mental health will be working on getting a mobile counselor to get female medications, female left area on a bicycle.
1:16 p.m. – Caller reported male hitting and kicking doors at location, 2300 block of Main. Officer responded, contacted male who is having some mental health problems, no damage to building, male will be moving along.
3:21 p.m. – Civilian reported a mystery package that arrived from China, came addressed to her, 4900 block of Mimosa. Officer assisted, item taken for destruction.
5:51 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office cited Jessee Lane Davis, 25, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while under the influence of intoxicants.
6:25 p.m. – Caller concerned that male should not be driving and has not followed the ignition interlock device requirement, 900 block of 42nd. William Henry Berger, 68, cited for failure to install IID.
11:17 p.m. – Male inside locked bathroom refuses to come out, Sankey Park. Individual was excluded from the park for 30 days and left on foot.
August 7
1:09 a.m. – Vehicle parked at location since at least the 2nd, 1600 block of Main. Vehicle posted for removal Monday, August 10 at 8 a.m.

6:02 a.m. – Caller reported vehicle was broken into last night, 700 block of 12th. Officer responded, report taken, estimated loss valued at $25.
10:02 a.m. – Caller reported items were stolen from vehicle. He’ll call when he returns after work, 300 block of Juniper. Report taken, stolen items valued at $177.
11:51 a.m. – Caller reported lights taken from shelter at location, 3200 block of Main. Officer responded, report taken, approximate loss valued at $71.98.
5:15 p.m. – Caller reported a male lying on ground behind pile of rocks, no shirt or shoes, Sweet Home High School track. Officer contacted subject, who is getting up and moving along.
6:33 p.m. – Caller reported a very intoxicated male was just at her house, may have made some threats to her husband and is now walking down 17th towards Elm. Officer was unable to locate.
7:10 p.m. – After officers left, subject in pickup tried to start problems with rally attendees, 621 Main, Thriftway. Officer contacted caller, all have now left.
7:45 p.m. – Caller reports a neighbor is having a party at the location that’s getting louder as the evening gets later, 2300 block of Main. Officer contacted neighbor, who will reposition the speaker.
9:28 p.m. – Mark Aaron Lamb, 43, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1000 block of Main. Also cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of reckless driving and contempt of court.
9:32 p.m. – Two callers reported hearing loud fireworks, 900 block of 23rd. Officer sat in area, unable to locate source.
11:33 p.m. – Caller reported a loud concert in backyard with speakers, 3200 block of Juniper. Officer responded, contacted home owner, advised of complaint, will turn music off outside.
August 8
1:24 a.m. – Caller reported loud bass keeping her awake, 800 block of 18th. Officer contacted subjects, said they would turn it down.
7:41 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked on railroad near 12th. Officer responded, vehicle was parked on railroad access. Officer contacted two individuals who were picking blackberries, they will move the vehicle to the roadway.
11:47 a.m. – Vehicle bearing license plate 818JKC repossessed from 900 block of Park.
12:10 p.m. – Caller reported tool box and fishing poles behind a tree, South Hills Trail. Officer responded, property seized.
2:29 p.m. – Corvallis Police arrested Jason Edward McCauley, 40, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of first-degree criminal trespass.
2:30 p.m. – Single vehicle crash reported on Berlin Road near intersection of Skyline Road. Motorcycle rider was negotiating a series of shallow curves when motorcycle left right side of roadway at a shallow angle and crashed into the ditch. The operator, who sustained moderate injuries, does not remember what happened. There were no other witnesses. Report taken.
3:30 p.m. – Caller reported house in 45600 block of Sunnyside Road had been broken into again. This time a window was damaged, but no major property had been taken. Report taken and information forwarded to original deputy to assist with investigation.
3:31 p.m. – Marine patrol arrested boater on Foster Lake for boating under the influence of intoxicants.
4:20 p.m. – Caller reported he dropped his phone in the football stands and would like assistance in retrieving it, Sweet Home High School football field. Officer responded and assisted, phone returned.
5:46 p.m. – Deputy checked on motor home that had been camped in spot at milepost 18 on Quartzville Road. Owner said he had been there 12 days. After being advised of camping rules, he said he’d be out the next day.
6:28 p.m. – Caller reported a van pulled into the Dollar Tree parking lot, had a meeting with another vehicle, then moved van to another location in the lot, 2414 Main. Officer responded, contacted male who had spoken with someone in the lot, went into the store to make a purchase, then moved the vehicle. Larry Deweese Jr. cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured.
7:04 p.m. – Five groups of illegal campers warned on Campbell Global property between mileposts 22 and 24 of Quartzville Road. Packed up and moved to public land.
7:34 p.m. – Ryan Wesley Sechrest, 33, cited and released on Albany warrant for contempt of court, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, failure to display a plate and illegal display of plate, 12th and Elm.
7:50 p.m. – Boater arrested for driving a boat under the influence. 43700 North River Drive.
8:08 p.m. – 17-year-old arrested at 7th and Oak Terrace on Linn County court warrants for failure to appear on three charges of unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, minor in possession of alcohol, minor in possession of tobacco, failure to appear on original charge of criminal mischief, third-degree theft, second-degree criminal trespass, unlawful graffiti, and possession of a graffiti implement. New charges of minor in possession of marijuana and tobacco. Lodged in juvenile detention.
8:56 p.m. – Caller reports someone hit his vehicle and drove off, 1500 block of Tamarack. Officer responded, report taken.
9:22 p.m. – Joshua Lee Roebuck, 33, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to use headlights when required, A&W.
9:24 p.m. – Callers reported possible gunshots or fireworks near 46th and Airport. Officer responded, unable to locate.
10:11 p.m. – Ronald William Wilson, 42, cited and released for hit and run, 1500 block of Tamarack.
11:04 p.m. – Caller reported a truck crashed through her yard, damaging a bush and rock wall, 2400 Ames Creek. Officer responded, report taken.
11:31 p.m. – Caller reported two females and a male went into neighbor’s yard and may have damaged a bird bath, 10th and Cedar. Officer responded, contacted male and female, counselled on actions. Matti Lynn Hook, 20, cited for minor in possession of alcohol.
August 9
12:42 p.m. – Caller reported a female took her credit card out of her purse yesterday and used it, then returned it without the caller knowing, 1500 block of 41st. Officer responded, report taken for second-degree theft. Approximate loss valued at $830.
5:57 p.m. – Officer cited and released Cody Michael Lobdell, 24, on a Linn County warrant for parole violations related to resisting arrest, possession of meth and two theft charges, and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree theft, 29th and Kalmia.
6:43 p.m. – Caller reported her son is intoxicated sitting at location, 1200 block of 15th. Officer responded, Anthony Dale Williams, 18, cited for minor in possession of alcohol.
8:04 p.m. – Eric Raymond Shipp cited and released on an Albany warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, and on a Linn County warrant for driving under the influence of intoxicants, 23rd and Long.
8:29 p.m. – Caller reported a female being followed by a male, 12th and railroad tracks. Officer contacted male who stated he’s not following anyone.
