12 a.m. – Chance Wade Smith, 20, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Caller had reported a car backing into his trailer. No injuries. Parties exchanged information.
12:41 p.m. – Caller reported evidence of a drug deal on a male’s phone, 4200 block of Main. Information noted. Phone seized. A pair of pants also was seized as found property.
6:34 p.m. – Caller reported that a female used a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for food, 1203 Long St., All-Star Pizza. Officer responded. Female was no longer at location. Officer left message to contact the Police Department.
7:07 p.m. – Caller reported his phone was missing, 1300 block of Quince. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.
7:58 p.m. – Caller reported a male lighting paper on fire, Fern Ridge and Highway 228. Officer contacted a male and warned him for his actions due to the fire ban.

12:09 p.m. – Caller reported a roommate passed away, 1000 block of 15th. Death investigation conducted.
1:16 p.m. – Caller reported a window broken out on vehicle, 1100 block of Elm. Report taken. Loss valued at $350.
6:04 p.m. – Caller found a wallet, 900 block of Dogwood. Placed in found property.
10:45 p.m. – Caller reported dogs barking constantly, 4600 block of Live Oak. Officer unable to locate.

5:17 p.m. – Caller collected a counterfeit $100, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Officer seized bill.
5:25 p.m. – Caller found a black case with syringes, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Seized for disposal.
5:27 p.m. – Lincoln County Jail served a Sweet Home warrant on Keith Wayne Wolfe, 41, for failure to comply on original charge of disorderly conduct.
5:37 p.m. – Caller reported that juveniles wrote a bad word on the caller’s car, 4610 Main St. Officer contacted parties, and parents planned to work out problems at a later date.
5:47 p.m. – Caller reported a backpack left behind for several hours, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Placed in found property.
7:14 p.m. – Caller reported dogs barking, 1100 block of 1st. Officer contacted the owner, who would take care of it.
10:04 p.m. – Caller reported a disturbance, 3300 block of Juniper. Report taken for harassment.
11:44 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle stolen from McDonald’s parking lot, 2000 Main St. Report taken. Oregon State Police located the vehicle.

2:19 a.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 29, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and failure to appear and Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft, Long and 22nd. Transported to Linn County Jail.
5:41 a.m. – Dawn Thompson, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of menacing, 1101 13th Ave., Sweet Home Public Library. Caller had reported a male behind the library.
8:34 a.m. – Caller reported that a dog followed children to school, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. Caller took dog to Police Department. Dog released to owner.
9:53 a.m. – Caller reported he skidded when he went around a corner and clipped a speed sign, 1200 block of 18th. Report taken. Pole was damaged. Public Works notified.
10:34 a.m. – Caller found a large mirror in the back of his property, 2200 block of Long.
11:08 a.m. – Lebanon Police Department located a Mazda pickup reported stolen from Sweet Home. The suspect fled and left a child and older female in the vehicle.
12:31 p.m. – Amanda Leah Binks, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to perform compensatory service, 2454 Main St. Cited and released with time served due to overcrowding. Caller had reported a female and male unclothed, running around outside a residence and arguing.
1:36 p.m. – Caller found a basset hound running loose, 300 block of W. Holley. Placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.
2 p.m. – Matthew Charles Nill, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Portland.
2:27 p.m. – Caller reported a continuous yard sale, 1100 block of Mountain View. Referred to code enforcement officer.
8:28 p.m. – Richard Dean Raisor, 41, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and possession of meth and on a Siskiyou County warrant for assault, 18th and Yucca. Transported to Linn County Jail. Evelyn Louise Young, 33, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass. Caller had reported a car down by the river and a child yelling for his mom. Officer recovered a vehicle reported stolen out of Lebanon.

8:11 a.m. – Caller reported that the River of Life was vandalized, 1658 Long St. Report taken.
8:56 a.m. – Michael Ralph Marshall, 34, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal trespass and offensive littering, 3217 Main St. Caller had reported people sleeping in a field with trash all over. Two other subjects were trespassed from the property.
10:41 a.m. – Caller reported persons living in a vehicle and throwing trash all over the street, 4000 block of Osage. Referred to code enforcement.
11:23 a.m. – Caller reported a male sleeping in her yard, Ames Creek and Mountain View. When the caller asked him to leave, he walked away and may have gone to someone else’s yard. Officer unable to locate.
11:25 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of jewelry, precious stones and other items, 43500 block of Wiley Creek. Report taken. Loss valued at $3,250.
11:30 a.m. – Caller reported finding a backpack containing drug paraphernalia on the playground, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Property seized.
11:50 a.m. – Caller reported tall weeds and brush, 2900 block of Harding. Referred to code enforcement.
12:41 p.m. – A Department of Human Services case worker reported finding drug paraphernalia, 2200 block of Long. Information noted.
12:50 p.m. – Caller turned in a purse found by his wife, 27th and Foothills. Placed in found property.
1:10 p.m. – Caller reported catching a sickly possum in her backyard, 1700 block of 54th. Officer responded and dispatched the animal.
6:44 p.m. – Caller reported the front license plate stolen from his vehicle, 900 block of Oak Terrace. Report taken. Loss valued at $10.

3:56 a.m. – Christopher Andrew Lee Hughlett, 28, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of possession of meth, third-degree escape and resisting arrest; a Linn County warrant for providing false information to a police officer and possession of meth; Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of third-degree theft and probation violation; and two new charges of providing false information to a police officer, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Transported to Linn County Jail. Brenda Nichole Dugan, 27, arrested for hindering prosecution. Cited and released.

10:06 a.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dogs getting out, 41800 block of Marks Ridge.
2:30 p.m. – Caller reported his wife’s bike stolen, 1200 block of 44th. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.
4:04 p.m. – Caller reported that a female made her buy back missing dog, 1300 block of Evergreen. Investigation continuing.
9:41 p.m. – Katie Rosella Sharp, 29, cited for driving uninsured, 1100 block of 12th.
Sept. 3
6:45 a.m. – Caller reported a male was attempting to steal her bicycle till she scared him off when she pulled out her BB gun, 1200 block of 44th. Information noted.
10:11 a.m. – Caller reported two dogs running loose, Elm and 14th. Officer responded. Dogs were being collected by their owner. Officer warned the owner for dog at large.
12:28 p.m. – Caller reported finding a syringe full of brown liquid, 43rd and Osage. Officer seized the item for disposal.
1:17 p.m. – Caller reported her bicycle was stolen from her yard, 1100 block of 42nd. Report taken. Loss valued at $75. Another bicycle was left in its place. That bike was placed in found property.
2:09 p.m. – Loose dog returned to owner, who was warned for dog at large, 25200 block of Crescent Hill.
4:06 p.m. – Caller located paraphernalia, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer disposed of paraphernalia.
4:07 p.m. – Dispatch received a 9-1-1 hang-up call, 29600 block of Berlin. Father and son, high on marijuana, pocket dialed 9-1-1.
4:45 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole her debit card and charged more than $1,000 on it, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,111.
7:35 p.m. – Caller reported a male cursing at employees for messing up his order, Dairy Queen. Officer contacted a male who was upset over his order being wrong. He was advised not to go back.
8:30 p.m. – Brian Lee Lamb, 30, arrested for driving under the influence, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released. Caller had reported that a vehicle hit the curb while pulling into the parking lot and a male got out and fell on the ground.
11:27 p.m. – Oregon State Police arrested Donald Ray Walkup, 22, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft. Transported to Linn County Jail.
Sept. 2
1:05 a.m. – Michael Ray Tomlinson, 29, cited for no license, Ames Creek and Mountain View.
8:20 a.m. – Caller reported finding two credit cards in an outgoing mailbox, 1300 block of Long. Owners live out of the area. Placed in found property.
8:33 a.m. – Caller reported dogs harassing livestock, 25400 block of Crescent Hill. One dog returned home before deputies arrived. One dog remained at large, and deputies were unable to capture it. Owners were warned of the potential consequences should the dogs continue to harass livestock.
8:40 a.m. – Quentin Wyatt Quadros, 19, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1306 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
1:35 p.m. – Caller reported her neighbor’s dog got loose and chased someone on a bicycle, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer responded. Dog was inside residence upon arrival. Officer contacted the owner, who said someone left the door open and the dog escaped. When the owner realized it, he went out and brought it back inside.
1:51 p.m. – Julie Anne North, 38, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Cited and released.
2:16 p.m. – Caller reported that his vehicle was hit while he was inside Circle K, 2405 Main St. Report taken for hit and run.
5:13 p.m. – Caller reported that a male jumped out of a vehicle and assaulted another male, who was walking down the street, 1200 block of Wiley Creek. Officer contacted the victim, who was unsure if he wanted to pursue charges. Information noted. Victim transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics.
5:52 p.m. – Phillip Randall Passmore, 51, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of hit and run, Linn County. Cited and released.
8:11 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke the lock on her gas cap and stole fuel from her vehicle, 4100 block of Osage. Report taken. Loss valued at $70.

9:09 a.m. – Caller reported graffiti spray painted on Weddle Bridge. Report taken.
12:07 p.m. – Caller reported a car with expired tags parked on the street for two days, 7th and Ironwood. Officer contacted owner, who planned to move it.
12:36 p.m. – Mark Aaron Lamb, 40, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of reckless driving, Linn County Jail.
4:36 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office served two Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft on Kyle A. Richards, 24.
4:42 p.m. – Caller turned in a credit card found in the parking lot, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Police attempted to contact owner. Placed in found property.
5:28 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office served a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft on Beth Richards, 49.
7:44 p.m. – Caller reported a dog acting aggressively while she was walking with her dog, Dogwood and 7th. The dog was on the sidewalk and acted aggressively toward the officer. Owner warned for dog at large.
10:16 p.m. – Shelby Keith Brigham, 51, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, 4824 Main St., Hilltop Market. Caller had reported that the occupants of two vehicles were being belligerent toward each other and appeared to be intoxicated. Officer contacted the subjects, who denied any type of altercation and did not appear to be intoxicated.
