5:31 a.m. – Caller reported a bicycle in his yard since the previous morning, 1800 block of Vine. Bicycle placed in found property.
9:07 a.m. – Caller reported a bicycle stolen, 800 block of Eighth. Report taken. Loss valued at $120.
9:13 a.m. – Caller reported that while walking her dog, a pit bull followed her and growled at her from a distance. Caller said it wasn’t the first time. Officer contacted homeowner, who did not have a pit bull and doesn’t know anyone in the area who does. Officer planned to check the area.
11:30 a.m. – Keith Dennis Wolf, 57, cited for dangerous left turn in a two-vehicle crash, 250 Main St. No injuries. Second driver was Dwayne Allen Blondin, 80.
12:26 p.m. – Caller reported a female panhandling in the parking lot even though she had been asked not to, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer contacted a male and female and advised them to move along.
12:37 p.m. – Robert Joseph Dandurand, 49, arrested for violating a restraining order, 2300 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
1:15 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog running loose, 4900 block of Maple. Owner advised of complaint. Children accidentally let it out.
Sept. 10
4:25 p.m. – Caller reported a male stealing a fountain soda, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Information noted.
4:53 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole a doughnut, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $1.59.
6:55 p.m. – Caller reported an unfriendly dog on the loose and barking at people, 4900 block of Mimosa. Officer contacted juveniles, who took the dog to its owner prior to arrival.
7:22 p.m. – Caller reported that his vehicle broke down, and someone smashed out the windows and stole his property, 3200 block of Main. Report taken.
7:36 p.m. – Caller reported dogs barking, 700 block of Eighth. Officer contacted a male who advised the dogs were just let outside and would be monitored. Officer did not hear any barking.
8:56 p.m. – Caller reported her sister sprayed her and others in the house with mace, 1300 block of Tamarack. Report taken for unlawful use of mace.
Sept. 9
8:52 a.m. – Caller reported people living in two motor homes, 42nd and Osage. Referred to code enforcement.
9:11 a.m. – Caller reported a male climbing a fence and trying to get into a storage shed, 4300 block of Main. Officer contacted the male and advised him of the complaint. Caller wanted him trespassed.
10:28 a.m. – Caller reported that a male walked by his residence and threatened a child, 1300 block of Nandina. Caller said if he had to handle it, he “will kill the person” and then hung up on dispatch. Officer responded. The caller came out of the residence with an unloaded crossbow and was upset over a confrontation with someone about music that was playing. The officer advised the caller to seek medical help.
11:19 a.m. – Caller believed he was scammed on Craigslist, 3100 block of Main. Information noted. Caller planned to file a report with the Federal Trade Commission.
11:53 a.m. – Caller found a wallet, 600 block of Main. Placed in found property.
12:36 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his house, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Report taken.
3:01 p.m. – Caller reported vandalism at her house two nights earlier, 4500 block of Long. She believed she turned in the suspect’s wallet one day earlier. Officer contacted the male and counseled him for his actions.
3:15 p.m. – Caller reported that someone vandalized his property, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.
4:47 p.m. – Linn County dispatcher reported that a 27-year-old male with head injuries walked into the clinic, 679 Main St. He stated he had been jumped by six other males on 29th Avenue. Officer responded. The subject was being transported to the emergency room by medics. The subject refused to provide any information to officer regarding his injuries. Information passed on to Lebanon Police Department, which had warrants for the subject.
5:34 p.m. – Caller reported that she kicked out a friend from her residence, and that friend has all of her things stored on the caller’s property around her house, 1000 block of 43rd. Caller was concerned she would get in trouble with code enforcement. Information noted and referred to code enforcement.
6:36 p.m. – Two-vehicle crash, 899 Main St. No injuries. No citations. Report taken. Information exchanged.
9:04 p.m. – Caller reported her coat taken, Shea Point. Inside the coat were her cell phone, house keys and some change. Report taken.
10:06 p.m. – Caller found a small dog, 2200 block of Main. Caller agreed to care for the dog over the weekend. Dog control notified.
Sept. 8
12:37 a.m. – Timothy William Pepperling, 32, charged with unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and first-degree theft, Linn County Jail.
1:52 a.m. – Caller requested assistance with heating system, 5200 block of Nandina. She was unable to turn off the heat. Officer assisted.
2:41 a.m. – Caller turned in a driver’s license she found, 1200 block of 15th. Placed in found property.
9:12 a.m. – Caller reported that a dog down the street had been barking all morning, keeping her awake, 1300 block of Evergreen. Officer responded. No contact. Left business card.
9:38 a.m. – Caller reported a rooster crowing for the past week, 3600 block of Green River.
11:50 a.m. – Caller reported receiving a check in the mail that his bank said was fraudulent, 1000 block of 13th. Information noted. Officer advised caller of his options.
12:48 p.m. – Caller reported that a male threw a soda can at his vehicle, 1300 block of Long. Officer planned to attempt to make contact with the registered owner of the male’s vehicle.
1:12 p.m. – Caller reported a male cutting pieces off her plant and trying to steal bicycle parts, but he dropped them, 4600 block of Main. A second caller reported her child’s playhouse was broken. Report taken for criminal mischief. Damage estimated at $50.
1:17 p.m. – Caller reported that a male had been stealing from his yard during the past five nights, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.
3:11 p.m. – Caller found dogs at 23rd and Long. Dogs placed in kennel. Dog control advised.
7:47 p.m. – Jay Boyd Marsh, 51, cited for driving uninsured, 385 Mountain View Drive.
8:10 p.m. – Caller found a diabetes test kit, 12th and Poplar. Placed in found property.
10:45 p.m. – Michael John Hoffman, 44, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:21 p.m. – Caller reported a male in dark clothing throwing rocks at cars, 2500 block of Main. Officer spoke with male subject, who said he had a piece of wood in his hand but did not throw it. Officer warned him, and he planned to stay in his room for the remainder of the night.

4:28 a.m. – Three vehicles posted for removal, 900 block of 23rd.
8:12 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke a window during the night, 1027 Main St. Report taken. Damage estimated at $800.
9:20 a.m. – Caller reported a rusted-out truck parked across from her residence, 1200 block of 43rd. Referred to code enforcement.
9:24 a.m. – Caller reported that wetlands behind his house were not being kept up, 2600 block of Foothills. Referred to code enforcement.
9:33 a.m. – Caller reported multiple cars parked in a yard, 44th and Live Oak. Referred to code enforcement.
9:39 a.m. – Caller reported an unlicensed van parked on the street for more than a week, 41st and Osage. Referred to code enforcement.
11:45 a.m. – Caller reported that someone was sleeping under a carport, 1242 Main St. Male subject trespassed from the location.
1:03 p.m. – Caller found a bike, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Placed in found property.
2:05 p.m. – Caller reported hearing a rooster for the past week, 3400 block of Juniper. Referred to code enforcement.
2:35 p.m. – Caller found a black garbage bag full of miscellaneous contents under Weddle Bridge, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Placed in found property.
2:40 p.m. – Muriah Marie Kendall, 42, turned in herself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Kendall also arrested for probation violation. Cited and released.
6:37 p.m. – Nicholas Steven Ware, 25, arrested for possession of heroin, second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment, 1610 Elm St. Cited and released.

4:22 a.m. – Caller reported someone stole her wallet, 43100 block of North River. Report taken.
5:34 a.m. – David Paul Gruwell, 50, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation, 47th and Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
10:27 a.m. – Caller reported a hit and run that occurred two weeks previously, 4200 block of Long. Report taken.
10:43 a.m. – Caller said two packages were stolen out of his mailbox on Sept. 1 sometime after 11:55 a.m., 42400 block of North River.
11:31 a.m. – Police posted an abandoned vehicle for removal, 42nd and Osage.
1:12 p.m. – Caller reported receiving a scam phone call, 100 block of Eighth. Caller hung up on the scammer. The scammer called back and told her the scammer would burn down her house with occupants inside it. Information noted.
3:33 p.m. – Stray dog placed in kennel, 1300 block of Clark Mill.
7:43 p.m. – Caller reported that a dog attacked her dog, 11th and Elm. Officer contacted owner, who said the dog was locked up but got out and into a minor scuffle with the caller’s dog. No major injuries to either dog.
7:59 p.m. – Wade Alan Campbell, 26, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, 11th and Elm.
9:18 p.m. – Caller reported a dog barking, 700 block of Eighth. Officer responded and listened outside the residence but did not observe any noise.
10:14 p.m. – Joseph Riley Bagg, 32, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charges of second-degree criminal trespass and probation violation, 14th and Elm. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.
11:53 p.m. – Caller turned in an iPhone found in the Sweet Home area. Placed in found property.
Sept. 5
11:37 a.m. – Caller said that a white pitbull has been wandering on to his property and has threatened the caller, 41500 block of Ridgeview. It was his neighbor’s dog. Deputies talked to and warned the neighbor.
12:29 a.m. – Daniel Joseph Ledgerwood, 22, arrested on Brownsville warrant for failure to appear, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Cited and released.
4:29 a.m. – Mackenzie Erin Way, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Corvallis. Cited and released.
6:29 a.m. – Ryan Andrew Seib, 20, arrested for providing false information to a police officer and a Linn County warrant for possession of meth, 2300 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
12:59 p.m. – Kenneth Ray Faulconer, 22, arrested on state warrant for parole violation and Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft, second-degree theft and first-degree criminal mischief 12th and Kalmia. Transported to Linn County Jail.
2:46 p.m. – Caller reported her son’s bicycle stolen, 2400 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $100.
7:59 p.m. – Hailee Jo Smith-Daggett, 23, arrested for second-degree theft, 15th and Long. Cited and released.
8:05 p.m. – Caller brought in a dog he found running loose, 800 block of 22nd. Dog returned to owner.
Sept. 4
3:23 p.m. – Caller reported a white vehicle that appeared to be broken down in the parking lot, 1199 10th Ave., Key Bank. The caller said that male and female occupants stuffed garbage into plants and then headed east on Main Street. Officer contacted the male and female, who told the officer they would get a valid driver to move the vehicle. The two subjects cleaned up the trash, and the officer advised them of the possible consequences for each action.
3:59 p.m. – Elbert Samuel Hackworth, 58, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charges of third-degree theft and interfering with a peace officer, All-Star. Transported to Linn County Jail.
4:33 p.m. – Caller reported a loose pit bull mix, 3500 block of Juniper. Dog placed in kennel, and dog control advised.
8:34 a.m. – Davy Anthony Phillips, 44, arrested on state parole board warrant, 18th and Kalmia. Transported to Linn County Jail.
Sept. 1
8:05 a.m. – Caller said he has a stalking order against a man who as at the location, 28800 block of Weatherly, which is the caller’s place of work. The man went to pay his rent, and the person who has the stalking order against him was there. Report taken and forwarded to the District Attorney’s office of review.
9:15 a.m. – Several goats were loose in the road, 30000 block of Fairview.
9:37 a.m. – Someone tried to get gas out of a vehicle and damaged it, 41800 block of North River Rd. Report taken.
Aug. 31
8:49 a.m. – Caller was contacted by a neighbor who said there was an abandoned vehicle at the construction site at the top of the hill, 27600 block of Riggs Hill. Report taken.
9:03 a.m. – Caller said he was receiving phone calls from people trying to gain access to his computer. He has told them to stop calling, however they continue to do so.
12:55 p.m. – Cow is very thin and stands at the fence bawling all day, 29800 block of Fairview. A deputy checked on the cows and found them to be in good health.
7:40 p.m. – LCSO assisted Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District and Department of Forestry with a slash burn pile that was on fire, 44900 block of Quartzville. Report was taken.
7:56 p.m. – Caller reported she had been assaulted, 41900 block of Marks Ridge. Caller said the male had been threatening her.
10:02 p.m. – Caller was getting scam phone calls. She has told them to stop but the will not.
