Sept. 17

2:43 a.m. – Danielle Lauren Sutton, 32, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, west city limits. Vehicle impounded.

Sept. 16

1:40 a.m. – Canine unit assisted Linn County Sheriff’s Office at Knox Butte and Scravel Hill. Dog alerted to drugs in a vehicle.

8:13 a.m. – Anna Rochelle House, 34, arrested on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon.

8:32 a.m. – Caller found a syringe in the parking lot, 2295 Main St. Officer disposed of the item.

10:03 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked at Upper Sankey park for weeks, 877 14th Ave. Subjects sleep in the vehicle. Officer contacted a female with the vehicle. She said she doesn’t stay there at night and had just arrived during the morning.

11:34 a.m. – Joe Allen Wayne Wood, 29, arrested for harassment (domestic violence) on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on harassment, Lincoln County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, 1251 Wiley Creek Road.

12:13 p.m. – Joe Allen Wayne Wood, 29, arrested for third-degree criminal mischief, 5281 Main St. Cited and released. Caller had reported a male attempting to kick in the back door.

3:40 p.m. – Shane Ryan Jakeway, 30, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized departure, 300 block of W. Holley Road. Transported to Linn County Jail.

4:44 p.m. – Caller found five syringes in the roadway, 16th and Fir. Officer disposed of the items.

5:23 p.m. – Caller reported a silver Dodge Ram pickup hitting a mailbox and trash can, 42600 block of North River. The caller said the pickup did not stop.

5:33 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of her clothing from the laundromat, 4824 Main St. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

7:49 p.m. – Cory Lostritto, 31, arrested for driving under the influence and cited for driving while suspended in a crash, 46000 Quartzville Road. No injuries.

Sept. 15

8:07 a.m. – Caller reported her vehicle was hit during the night, 1100 block of 29th. Report taken.

8:16 a.m. – Caller reported a deer stuck in a fence, 4900 block of Airport Road. Officer cut the deer loose from fencing, carried it into a field and released it.

8:40 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of $300 from the payment box at the entrance to River Bend park, 45900 block of Highway 20. Report taken.

9:24 a.m. – Caller found a credit card on the running trail, Foster Lake. Placed in found property.

1:10 p.m. – Caller requested a welfare check on a male who had been lying in the parking lot for hours, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer contacted the male, who was fine and moved along.

3:33 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female hiding in the area of City Hall and Fire Hall. Officer contacted the subjects, who gathered their belongings and moved along.

3:55 p.m. – Kevin Earl Terwilliger, 55, cited on a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, 1000 block of Long.

6:06 p.m. – Tyson Derek Boren, 35, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of driving under the influence, west city limits. Caller had requested a welfare check on a male lying face down on top of his vehicle. Officer contacted the male, who was fine but had run out of fuel. Unknown why he was lying on the hood.

6:42 p.m. – Caller reported her 11-year-old son was trapped inside his bedroom due to a faulty lock, 1300 block of 45th. Officer responded and was able to get the door open.

9:11 p.m. – Ian Thomas Buczko, 31, cited and released in field for furnishing alcohol to minors; Christopher Ryan Mendoza, 18, and Alexis Nicole Cosato, 18, cited and released in field for minor in possession of alcohol; and two 17-year-old males, a 17-year-old female, a 16-year-old male, a 16-year-old female, four 15-year-old males, a 15-year-old female, a 14-year-old male and two 14-year-old females referred to the Juvenile Department for minor in possession of alcohol, 700 block of 1st.

Sept. 14

1:12 a.m. – Amanda June Herbert, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Albany.

1:39 a.m. – Christopher Thomas Meredith, 30, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

4:23 a.m. – Deputy located transients who ran out of fuel, Old Hufford and Quartzville. Deputy provided a little fuel, and they left.

8:25 a.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle hit a power pole during the night, 800 block of Main. Vehicle parts were scattered on Main Street. Report taken. Pacific Power notified.

8:37 a.m. – Caller that someone was inside a vacant residence, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Subject left prior to officer arrival. Loss valued at $20. Report taken. Bicycle seized as found property.

10:23 a.m. – Caller reported items stolen from the bed of his pickup during the night, 900 block of Pinetop. Report taken. Loss value at $50.

11:39 a.m. – Shayne Thomas Landers, 22, cited for driving while suspended, Osage and 12th.

11:52 a.m. – Caller reported that someone tampered with a mailbox, 1300 block of Pleasant Valley. Report taken. Damage valued at $150.

1:14 p.m. – Caller reported multiple boxes of Avon products dumped at site, 3200 block of Main. Officer located two small boxes of extremely old aftershave. It appeared to be garbage.

3:30 p.m. – Richard F. Burnside, 28, cited and released in field on Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear, 23rd and Main.

5:21 p.m. – Caller found several Dollar Tree bags and a purse, 700 block of Long. Placed in found property.

8:33 p.m. – Jimmy Leon Coonrod, 66, cited and released in field on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1303 Long St.

9:24 p.m. – Jenny Rebecca Sherwood, 36, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 4th and Main.

11:05 p.m. – Caller reported multiple firearms missing, 200 block of Alder. Report taken.

11:46 p.m. – David Tackett, 21, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree escape, 30100 block of Highway 20.

Sept. 13

4:12 a.m. – Jeremy Michael Hicks, 38, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

4:59 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit a telephone pole, Highway 228 and Fern Ridge Road. No injuries. No citations.

5:18 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle stolen during the night and found in the ditch in the early morning, 27700 block of Fern Ridge. Report taken.

9:32 a.m. – Caller turned in a tarp found at Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Placed in found property.

10:17 a.m. – Caller reported that someone cut fuel lines on two vehicles, siphoned fuel and broke into a trailer, 401 Main St. Report taken.

10:39 a.m. – Timothy Loren Ames Jr., 29, arrested for first-degree burglary, third-degree theft and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1200 block of Clark Mill. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:29 a.m. – Richard Steven Feaster, 57, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence and a new charge of failure to register as a sex offender, and David Robert Patterson, 65, cited for failure to register vehicle, 22nd and Juniper. Feaster transported to Linn County Jail.

2:22 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of cattle panels valued at $80, 28600 block of Jones Drive. Report taken.

2:30 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle, 800 block of 3rd. Report taken.

4:23 p.m. – Steven Scott Sims, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.

6:24 p.m. – Caller reported a male setting up camp, 2500 block of Long. Officer contacted the male and advised him to move along.

7:27 p.m. – Caller reported a male stole a bicycle, 3200 block of Main. Information noted.

7:33 p.m. – Caller reported his computer was hacked, 1200 block of Sunset. Information noted.

Sept. 12

8:23 a.m. – Terry Ballweber, 54, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Held for court and released with a new court date.

8:55 a.m. – Megan Breann Brambora, 27, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Gresham.

11:33 p.m. – Julianne Nicole Phillip, 24, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 12th and Redwood. Caller had reported several people prowling around the neighborhood wearing camouflage hoodies. Officer located three individuals who somewhat matched the description. Unable to locate any suspicious or criminal activity.

Sept. 11

3:25 a.m. – Caller reported two people hiding in the bushes by his neighbor’s car, 1400 block of Meadowlark. He confronted them, and they ran away. Officer unable to locate.

5:44 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicles, 700 block of 5th. Report taken. Loss valued at $3.

6:52 p.m. – While patrolling timber, a deputy saw a female in a van either having a seizure or rocking out to music, 43300 block of Marks Ridge, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property overlooking Foster lake. Deputy contacted her. She said she was rocking out and drawing.

7:39 a.m. – Caller reported that someone entered her unsecured vehicle and removed her camera, 1400 block of Meadowlark. Report taken. Loss valued at $650.

7:48 a.m. – Caller found a syringe in a driveway, 3200 block of long. Officer disposed of item.

7:52 a.m. – Caller reported finding a black backpack with tools in it in the bushes and a blue backpack farther down the road, Evergreen and West Pine. Placed in found property.

8:10 a.m. – Officer located an unsecured vehicle that had been entered, 1300 block of Evergreen. Report taken. Loss valued at $60.

8:42 a.m. – Barbara Fay Kapicka, 55, and Jennifer Lee Dilley, 46, cited for an open container in a public place, 1140 12th Ave., City Hall. Caller had reported a vehicle with garbage all around it in the parking lot. A male sitting close by kept getting things out of the vehicle.

9:12 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked on the road for two weeks, Evergreen and Highway 228. Posted for removal.

9:19 a.m. – Caller reported several credit and store cards dropped in a night drop box, 1199 10th Ave., Key Bank. Placed in found property.

9:28 a.m. – Carolyn Ann Rogers, 74, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and failure to appear, 3243 Main St. Cited and released.

9:56 a.m. – Caller found a sweatshirt between his property and his neighbor, 1400 block of Meadowlark. Placed in found property.

10:50 a.m. – Caller reported that a customer turned in a syringe found in a parking lot, 1118 Main St., O’Reilly Auto Parts. Officer disposed of the item.

11:20 a.m. – Caller reported someone broke into his son’s truck again and took items, 1200 block of Linden. Report taken.

1:18 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware. Report taken. Loss valued at $64.99. Caller had video of the theft.

1:27 p.m. – Caller reported a syringe in the parking lot, 1118 Main St, O’Reilly Auto Parts. Officer disposed of the item.

1:53 p.m. – Caller reported that someone had set up camp between her property and the building next door, 1200 block of 10th. She wanted the person trespassed from her property. Report taken for criminal mischief and property seized.

3:57 p.m. – Mackenzie Erin Way, 26, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of driving under the influence, Lincoln County Jail.

4:43 p.m. – Caller reported a child disclosing an issue at home and she wanted to talk to a police officer, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Report taken.

5:41 p.m. – Caller reported that her children found a syringe in Northside Park. Officer disposed of the item.

7:37 p.m. – Caller found a purse, 1280 10th Ave., Subway. Placed in found property.

8:46 p.m. – Caller reported two people were sitting against a light post in front of her house antagonizing her dogs and using her wifi without permission, 1300 block of 53rd. Officer unable to locate.

8:55 p.m. – Caller reported a dog wrapped around a pole with a muzzle on its mouth, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Caller was unable to find the owner. Animal was gone by the time the officer arrived.

Sept. 10

8:53 a.m. – Caller reported her son’s shoes were stolen during the night, 1200 block of 47th. Report taken.

9:34 a.m. – Caller reported a suicidal subject, 51300 block of Quartzville. When deputies located him, he armed himself with a pistol. Deputies were able to convince the subject to drop the pistol. Deputies took custody of the male and transported him to the hospital on a hold for mental evaluation.

9:46 a.m. – Caller reported a female was camped out on the back porch, 1658 Long St., River of Life Fellowship. Caller wanted officer to advise her to move on. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate the female.

9:49 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the can shed, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Report taken. Loss valued at $150.

9:53 p.m. – Caller reported a dog was barking again, 300 block of W. Pine. Officer responded. No answer at the door. Dog was quiet upon arrival. Information forwarded to code enforcement.

10:27 a.m. – Levi Joe Newberg, 27, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 3100 block of Main.

11:06 a.m. – Anthony Allen Ensley, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 1203 Long St., All-Star Pizza. Cited and released.

1:30 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor was ripping up surveyor stakes, 1200 block of Nandina. Report taken.

2:43 p.m. – Caller reported that someone cut the fuel lines on vehicles, 900 block of Main. Report taken for theft and criminal mischief. Loss valued at $520.

5:32 p.m. – Caller reported a backpack had been lying in the parking lot for the previous hour, 1100 block of 29th. Placed in found property.

7:38 p.m. – Caller reported her son got into a fight with his brother the previous day and went to the caller’s house, took a bat and smashed up the house, 1800 block of Vine. Report taken.

10:38 p.m. – Delbert Almanzo Kurtz, 38, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for second-degree criminal mischief, Lebanon.
