3:41 p.m. – Caller reported having a cracked window at 1209 Main, found on video where someone was trying to break in. Officer responded, report taken.
3:58 p.m. – Caller reported their son drank PineSol, 400 block of Holley. Transported by medics.
4:51 p.m. – Caller reported a shoplifter in custody at Bi-Mart, 1980 Main. Kimberly Ann Bachmeyer, 42, charged with theft and cited on a Lebanon warrant for a parole violation. Cited and released.
5:45 p.m. – Caller reported that, between 7 and 9 p.m. on Aug. 23, the trunk of a 2002 Honda Accord was broken into and three fishing rods and reels, a blue tackle bag and medication were stolen. 44500 block Quartzville Road. Total value of around $350. Report taken.
6:12 p.m. – Caller reported a shoplifter in custody. Heather Renae Fagan, 29, cited for theft and a circuit court warrant for possession of heroin. Cited and released.
7.25 p.m. – A male was drinking beer in the parking lot and getting ready to leave on a motorcycle, 3041 Main, Hoy’s Hardware. Officer contacted male, who said he drank the beer after someone brought it to him from the motel across the street. Officer cautioned him not to drive and reminded him of his criminal driving status. He is going to call AAA to pick it up. Officer will watch to ensure he does not drive away.
9:39 p.m. – Ryan Wesley Sechrest, 33, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 1200 block of Hawthorne.
10:32 p.m. – Franklin Luster Cutbirth, 39, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 5th and Elm.
August 25
12:21 a.m. – Caller reported two males trying to break into her residence, when caller yelled at them they ran off, last seen on foot running toward 54th, 5500 block of Osage. Officer responded, report taken for criminal trespass, unable to locate anyone matching description.
4:01 a.m. – Caller reported two males walking with a wheelbarrow, 22nd near Ironwood. Officer responded, unable to locate.
9:16 a.m. – Vehicle towed from 900 block of 7th.
12:27 p.m. – Caller reported power tools stolen from their vehicle, 2200 block of Ironwood. Report taken, loss valued at approximately $675.
1:55 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office report fully involved structure fire, 1100 block of 38th. Officer responded, report taken for reckless burning.
4:39 p.m. – Caller reported he was assaulted at location while holding his 3-year-old, 1800 block of Cedar. Officer responded, Hershel Robert Briggs, 46, cited and released for harassment.
5:20 p.m. – Caller reported three float tubes have been sitting on the river bank all afternoon, Santiam river near 1500 block of Tamarack. Officer responded, items placed in property.
7:23 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle doing burnouts at Sweet Home Junior High. Officer responded, contacted juvenile and counselled them for their behavior, parents contacted and will be taking vehicle and juvenile home.
8:08 p.m. – Albany Police cited Steven Kenneth Stitt, 35, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal trespass.
9:56 p.m. – Caller reported a group in the parking lot of the Skate Park playing loud music. Officer responded, contacted group, no loud music on arrival, will be leaving shortly. John David Jewett, 20, cited and released on a Lebanon warrant for contempt.
11:23 p.m. – Caller reported someone may have broken into Foster Lake Mall, 5480 Main, as there’s damage to the door and it’s unsecured. Officer responded, checked building. It doesn’t appear to have been broken into, the damage to the door was old and the door was left unsecured by accident. Building re-secured.
August 26
2:19 a.m. – Officer located a male and a female on warrants at 7Eleven, 2405 Main. Amanda Leah Binks, 27, cited on a Crook County warrant for meth possession, a Lebanon warrant for a probation violation, and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of disorderly conduct. Tony Ray Roebuck, 26, cited on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft, a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of a criminal citation, as well as a probation violation, and on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle.
9:54 a.m. – Caller reported equipment stolen from utility trailer parked near Foster Lake, 44200 block Highway 20. Report taken.
10:22 a.m. – Sara Kay McBee, 28, cited on a Marion County charge for failure to appear on an original charge of theft and a Dallas warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of trespass, 1950 Main, Sweet Home Police Department.
10:31 a.m. – Caller reported a downed power line on the 1000 block of 23rd. Referred to fire department.

1:24 p.m. – Caller reported female was assaulted and strangled at location on Aug. 24, 2405 Main, Circle K. Investigation ongoing.
1:32 p.m. – Multiple callers reported a highly intoxicated female yelling that she is the queen of England in a White Chevrolet Equinox, last seen heading east on Main. Officer checked along Main, unable to locate, called off for another call.
1:45 p.m. – Multiple callers reported a couple shoving each other in the middle of the highway, 600 block of Main. Michelle Melbye, 48, cited and released for disorderly conduct. Joshua Leslie, 32, arrested for disorderly conduct and violation of release agreement. Booked, lodged at Linn County Jail.
2:45 p.m. – Caller reported past renters have left a vehicle on the street for the last month, has attempted to contact the owners, 1200 block of Osage. Officer responded, white Mazda pickup and black Honda Civic posted for removal on Sept. 1.
2:58 p.m. – Caller reported theft of iPhone, wallet and keys that had been left on shore while owners were swimming, 44700 block Quartzville Drive. Report taken
2:59 p.m. – Caller reported validating stickers were stolen off his license plate, 1700 block of 11th. Officer responded, caller forgot to register vehicle when it expired. He was advised on how to register a vehicle.
4:13 p.m. – Two callers reported a juvenile female resembling a missing child was sitting in front of Hilltop Market, 4824 Main. Officer responded, contacted female, who was not the missing female from Corvallis.
5:27 p.m. – Caller reported she saw her son in the Safeway parking lot, 1540 Main, and he was hiding a bottle of wine under his shirt. Officer responded, bottle of wine seized. 15-year-old male referred to Juvenile department for minor in possession of alcohol.
6:37 p.m. – Caller reported Mini Cooper automobile was broken into, $670 worth of items stolen. 44500 block Quartzville Road. Report taken.
8:57 p.m. – Caller reported a cougar jumped out of the bushes and is growling at him and his friend, pond on 10th. Officer responded, located source of growling: a family of raccoons.
August 27
9:35 a.m. – Robert John Culver, 44, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of driving while under the influence of intoxicants, cited and released from SHPD, 1950 Main.
9:45 a.m. – Shelly Marie Taylor cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 2000 Main, McDonald’s.
9:50 a.m. – Michael Dashawn Ferebee, 41, turned himself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of disorderly conduct. Cited and released from SHPD, 1950 Main.
11:22 a.m. – Caller reported three people are on her property, 28000 block of Riggs Hill. Officer responded. James Brian Tidwell, 61, cited and released on a Linn County warrant for a parole violation and a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal citation for driving while suspended. Heather Mae Kelly, 40, cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft. 12:12 p.m. – Caller reported an employee who was fired left property there which may be stolen, 2295 Main, Mobil. Officer responded, no indication of item being stolen. Caller will try to contact former employee to retrieve item.
12:51 p.m. – Caller reported that 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, and noon on Thursday, Aug. 27, someone cut the seal of the rear storage compartment on her kayak, 44900 block Quartzville Road. Estimated damage $100. Report taken.
1:22 p.m. – Caller reported she gave her bank account info to someone over the phone and they took money from her account, 900 block of 31st. Info noted.

4:18 p.m. – Caller reported someone vandalized her vehicle, 1200 block of 44th. Officer responded, info noted.

5:26 p.m. – Caller reported a female shoplifting, 1980 Main, Bi-Mart. Officer responded, Lisa Dawn Johnston, 45, cited and released for theft.
6:07 p.m. – Franklin Whitton cited for driving while suspended, 18th and Kalmia.
6:09 p.m. – Caller reported female’s living conditions at the location are unacceptable, occasionally has children visiting her, 1300 block of 45th. Officer contacted caller by phone, info noted, no children currently staying with female.
6:14 p.m. – Oregon State Police located Elisha Marie Adams, 39, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft and failure to comply on an original charge of giving false info to police. Cited and released.
7:31 p.m. – Caller reported a female started yelling and threatening her when she told her she couldn’t turn in cans after 6 p.m., 1501 Main, Speedee Mart. Subject was heading west on Main, would like her trespassed if located. Officer responded, unable to locate.
10:01 p.m. – Redmond Police located Michael Eric Clendenen, 37, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving.
10:58 p.m. – Jeromy Matlock, 35, cited for following too closely, outside Sweet Home city limits.
August 28
9:43 a.m. – Caller reported rifle spotted near front porch. Deputies responded, found male doing mole and gopher control. They determined he was doing his job in a safe manner. 40400 block Highway 228.
11:40 a.m. – Caller reported she received a call saying her social security number was compromised, would like an officer to hear the message, 1800 Cedar. Officer responded, scam call, citizen advised of options.
1:13 p.m. – Caller reported finding a syringe on the ground, Sankey Park. Officer responded, disposed of material in sharps container.
2:06 p.m. – Caller reported two males just took two shopping carts, 1980 Main, Bi-Mart. Officer responded, contacted male who had the carts. Carts returned to management, they do not want to pursue charges.
3:10 p.m. – Deputy checked boat-in campsites on Green Peter Lake and found four groups set up on shore. Two were staying on their boats, anchored just off shore. The others were “full-blown camps.” They were not happy, but packed up and left. Deputy checked boat ramps and noted that boat-in camping prohibition signs were posted.
3:13 p.m. – Caller reported vehicle removing political signs from yard, but deputy was unable to locate after “significant time delay.” 41900 block Northside Drive/North River Drive.
3:36 p.m. – Caller asked what to do about cougar attacking his horses, 26900 block Rowell Hill Road. He was told to contact ODFW about the incident and that he could take action, in a safe manner, if he witnessed an attack.
4:18 p.m. – Faith Johnson Hodge, 19, cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to perform duties of a driver when property is damaged, 1950 Main, SHPD.
5:18 p.m. – Caller reported a hit and run at Safeway, 1540 Main. Robyn Marie Adams, 33, cited and released for hit and run.
5:35 p.m. – Daniel Joseph Carrico, 36, cited and released on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of contempt of court seeking punitive actions, and a Linn County warrant for a parole violation, 1950 Main, SHPD.
5:41 p.m. – Silver Michelle Baker, 21, cited and released on a Linn County warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of cocaine possession, 228 and Long.
6:03 p.m. – Jamie Carpenter, 44, cited for revoked driving and driving while suspended vehicle with license number D69417 impounded by Lloyd Rice Towing.
6:46 p.m. – Caller reported daughter was threatening him and hitting him through the crack in the front door, and also took caller’s wallet, 1200 block of 37th. Officer responded, contacted both parties, non-mandatory arrest, caller doesn’t want to pursue charges.
8:07 p.m. – Caller reported a male walked out with groceries, put them in an unrelated customer’s vehicle, then left on foot, 1540 Main, Safeway. Officer responded, report taken for theft, approximate loss valued at $154.
9:25 p.m. – Thomas Elmer, 49, cited and released for theft, 2200 block of Long.
10:09 p.m. – Caller was told male and female are yelling, 1500 block of 9th. Officer responded, report taken for domestic violence- harassment.
10:12 p.m. – Phillip Swartz, 33, cited and released for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, false info, and a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal trespass and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving, also cited for driving while suspended, 2405 Main, 7-Eleven. Vehicle bearing Washington plate B03386K towed by Lloyd Rice Towing, recovered as stolen.
11:20 p.m. – Caller reported neighbors are outside drinking and being loud, almost a nightly occurrence, 1400 block of Westwood. officer responded, contacted resident at location who had friends over talking outside, no violation at this time, they were advised of the complaint.
11:44 p.m. – Caller reported juveniles skating near loading dock and wants them to leave, 621 Main, Thriftway. officer responded, no juveniles at location prior to arrival, issue resolved prior to arrival.
August 29
12:07 a.m. – Caller reported neighbor is playing his music too loudly, 1400 block of Westwood. officer responded, contacted several members of the household, advised them of the complaint. They agreed to turn it down.
1:42 a.m. – Caller reported the music is loud again, 1400 block of Westwood. Officer responded, Harold Wenzler III, 42, cited for unnecessary noise.
2:53 a.m. – Curry County Sheriff’s Office located Isaac Phillip Waugh, 25, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of interfering with a police officer.
3:58 a.m. – Police notified of a glass break alarm at Going Green, 925 Main. Officer responded, report taken. Tony Roebuck, 26, cited and released for attempted burglary and criminal mischief.
6:53 a.m. – Caller was walking by the Foster Lake Day Use Area, there was a Toyota pickup parked there when she first arrived, but then a Green Ford Taurus pulled up and now the alarm is going off and a window is broken. Report taken for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and criminal mischief.
9:59 a.m. – Caller reported bike stolen between midnight and 7 a.m. in 45900 block Highway 20. Transition mountain bike model Bottle Rocket, all black, with front and rear suspension, disc brakes and after-market shifters. Valued at $1,000. Report taken.
10:09 a.m. – Caller reported daughter’s boyfriend is causing a disturbance and punched a hole in the closet door, 1500 block of Tamarack. Officer responded, Cristobal Rio, 20, cited and released for criminal mischief.
11:20 a.m. – Public Works director believes someone entered the fenced in area at Sweet Home public Works Department, 1400 24th. Officer responded, report taken, fence damaged. Doesn’t believe anything was taken.
12:13 p.m. – Caller believes subject who assaulted her last night also took her wallet containing $400, 1500 block of 9th.
2:41 p.m. – David Leonard Bank, 49, cited on Linn County Warrant for failure to appear on a staking order, Main and Clark Mill.
4:39 p.m. – While caller was parked in front of Dairy Queen, 1364 Main, a woman driving a red Ford pickup hit her mirror, destroying it, and continued west to 13th and then north on 13th. Report taken, damage valued at $200.
6:20 p.m. – Caller reported a single vehicle crash at Foster Dam and Poplar, one male injured but up and walking around. Officer responded, report taken. Driver transported by medics, vehicle towed by Lloyd Rice towing.
7:01 p.m. – Caller reported truck parked at Calkins Boat Ramp was burglarized between 4:30 and 6:20 p.m. No damage to vehicle, but black and gold purse, black and gold Coach wallet, medication, a stethoscope, multiple gift cards and $120 in cash were stolen, totaling $1,000. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
8:20 p.m. – Caller reported personal items stolen from his vehicle parked at Thistle Creek Boat Ramp, 47700 block Quartzville Road during day. Report taken.
11:21 p.m. – Deputies assisted a park ranger with a trespassing suspect who refused to leave a day use area. Dawn Thomson, ##, arrested on outstanding warrants. She was cited and released, and left the area after being advised to by deputies.
August 30
1:43 a.m. – Mariah Colella, 23, of Sweet Home, cited and released for third-degree criminal mischief , 39600 block Highway 228.
12:46 a.m. – Caller reported male and female fighting at Sun Motel, 3026 Main, wants female to leave for the night. Officer responded, female has moved to the sidewalk in front of the location and has been informed she is not welcome at the establishment. Marcus Wesley Hesson, 49, cited and released for failure to appear on an original charge of resisting arrest.
5:32 a.m. – Caller reported a repossession at location, 1100 block of 24th. Vehicle repossessed from location, registered owner notified.
7:03 a.m. – Caller reported a subject in a sleeping bag just east of The Point, 6305 Main, wants them to move along. Officer contacted subject who was gathering her belongings to move along.
12:36 p.m. – Caller was walking home from the gas station and a neighbor punched him in the face. Both subjects, Bryan Dennis Haproff, 41, and KC Everett Holt, 37, taken into custody for disorderly conduct. Booked, cited, and released.
3:48 p.m. – Albany Police served Steven Andrew Williamson, 51, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft.
4:47 p.m. – Caller reported a female driving while under the influence, in a white Chevrolet Equinox with a dented rear fender. She drove from Shea Point to The Point Restaurant and went inside. Officer followed vehicle and didn’t observe any violations or erratic driving.
5:16 p.m. – Caller reported a man in a red Ford pickup was trying to get a female with a baby to get in the truck, 5401 Main, Foster Lake Market. They are yelling back and forth, male put truck in reverse and hit a dumpster. Vehicle was gone on arrival, witness said the female got in the truck with him. Unable to locate in surrounding areas.
5:31 p.m. – Multiple callers report a subject with white pants and a black shirt marching in the middle of the street, saluting vehicles, 1500 block of Main. Left a white SUV parked at Safeway, marching east on Main towards 18th. Officer contacted female with mental health issues.
6:09 p.m. – Caller reported burglary of motor vehicle at Lewis Creek Park. Numerous valuables reported stolen. Value not listed. Report taken.
8:10 p.m. – Caller reported a disturbance 1800 block of Willow. Officer responded, juvenile at location struck male, caller wanted them counselled, advised of options.
8:37 p.m. – Officer cited Allen Dale Ensley, 31, on a Douglas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal mischief.
8:39 p.m. – Caller reported a male on the 3200 block of Main is intoxicated and yelling. Officer responded, contacted male at location. Female left prior to officer arrival, male now calm and will stay that way for the remainder of the night.
9:15 p.m. – Park Ranger reported suspicious male prowling around Sunnyside Park, 44900 block Quartzville Road. Man was dressed all in black. Deputy arrived and advised the man to stay out of the park.
9:49 p.m. – James Adell Brown, 43, cited on Linn County warrants for several parole violations and for felony possession of a firearm, 9th and Nandina. Also cited for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance.
11:01 p.m. – Caller reported a male scoping out houses in the area, 46th and Main. Officer responded, contacted male who denied reported activity, allowed officer to check his bag – nothing inside. Advised to look for cans in daytime.
