2:36 a.m. – Caller reported her neighbor’s dog was crying as if it had been hurt and no one went out to check on it, 1100 block of 18th. Officer contacted the owner, who advised that the dog was in a crate outside due to its behavioral issues. The owner agreed to keep the dog inside the residence for the rest of the night.
8:28 a.m. – Charlotte Lee Palmer, 63, cited for violating the city ordinance for nuisance birds, 4610 Main St. Caller had reported a neighbor’s bird squawking.
12:59 p.m. – Caller reported a flock of sheep running down the roadway, 1100 block of 49th. Officer rounded up the sheep in a secure area. The owner picked them up.
3:12 p.m. – Caller reported that a female left the store with a basket full of groceries, 1540 Main St., Safeway. When the caller contacted her, she pushed the basket back inside and left. Female was trespassed from the property.
3:35 p.m. – Jefferson Warren Davis, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Albany. Cited and released.
8:16 p.m. – Caller reported a male going through her garbage cans and leaving trash all over the street, 500 block of Oak Terrace. Report taken for criminal mischief. Unable to locate the male.
8:41 p.m. – Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital reported a patient had been bitten by a dog, 11th and Elm. Officer contacted the victim, who advised that a stray dog had attacked his dog while he was out for a walk. He was bitten trying to separate them.

11:35 a.m. – Kenneth Martin Oberg, 57, cited for keeping a dog as a public nuisance, 780 9th Ave. Caller had reported a neighbor has three large dogs in the front yard, and they bark continually.
12:12 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was in her house and moved items around, 1100 block of 28th. Report taken.
1:39 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her house and shop, 2200 block of Nandina. Report taken.
2:03 p.m. – Shelby Jordan Goodwin, 20, arrested for fourth-degree assault, 38500 block of Highway 228.
3:54 p.m. – Caller reported that her vehicle was hit during the night, 1800 block of Tamarack. Report taken.
4:17 p.m. – Shannon Marie Richards, 44, cited and released in field for second-degree child neglect, 300 W. Holley Road, Stone-brook Apartments. Caller had reported two 5-year-old children going through a fence into a vacant yard behind the apartment complex.
8:26 p.m. – Laticia Pilar Sanchez, 27, arrested on state warrant for parole violation and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving under the influence, 1220 23rd Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:25 a.m. – Michael Ralph Marshall, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, and Amanda Rae Stafford, 41, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 3225 Main St. Cited and released.
8:12 a.m. – Vehicle towed for a city violation, 41st and Osage.
9:17 a.m. – Caller reported a dog barking constantly all day long, 4600 block of Live Oak. Officer unable to contact owner and left business card.
9:33 a.m. – Caller reported a male and female sleeping in the woods, end of 40th Avenue. Officer contacted three subjects and gave them until 6 p.m. to have their belongings off the property and to vacate the premises or arrests would be likely.
10:13 a.m. – Caller reported that a female moved out of a residence and left two dogs behind, 1400 block of 53rd. The dogs continue to get out and act aggressively. Someone does stop by and put the dogs back inside the residence. One dog was out at the time of the call. Officer unable to catch the loose dog. Residence appeared to be vacant. No further action.
10:30 a.m. – Jackie Anthony Harden, 23, arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, 805 Long St. Cited and released.
10:54 a.m. – Caller’s daughter located two counterfeit $100 bills, 1000 block of 7th. Placed in found property.

12:24 p.m. – Caller reported that three different neighbors have told him they have seen a cougar in the Hobart Nature Preserve. Ore-gon Department of Fish and Wildlife will post the area with cougar sighting flyers.

1:41 p.m. – Skylar James Samson, 27, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree forgery, Coffee Creek Correctional Facility.

2:28 p.m. – Caller reported more than 12 cows at large in a farmer’s field, 28700 block of Liberty. Deputies were able to locate the owner and make arrangements for them to be recovered.

7:21 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog had been barking constantly for 45 minutes, 700 block of 7th. Officer contacted owner and advised of the complaint. The owner had just returned home.

11:33 a.m. – Officer located a bicycle accessory pouch, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Placed in found property.
11:39 a.m. – Albany Police Department recovered a vehicle stolen out of Sweet Home while executing a search warrant.
1:07 p.m. – Matthew Carl Martin, 27, arrested on Linn County warrant for possession of meth and interfering with a peace officer, 1300 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.
1:25 p.m. – Caller reported garbage dumped on property managed by Cascade Timber Consulting. Report taken.
1:54 p.m. – Leslie Michelle Gerard, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Albany.
2:05 p.m. – Raymond Joseph Mullenix, 50, cited on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Coffee Creek Correctional Facility.
2:24 p.m. – Terry Lynn Ballweber, 53, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1836 18th Ave. Cited and released.
5:27 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered the caller’s house and took a shotgun, a lock box with personal paperwork, jewelry, a chainsaw, a toolbox and leaf blower worth about $6,340, 27000 block of Rowell Hill. Report taken.
6:29 p.m. – Caller reported that neighbors are in his yard threatening him, 1100 block of 49th. Report taken to be forwarded to the city attorney for review.
8:16 p.m. – Caller reported a side view mirror on his vehicle had been broken, 4610 Main St. Report taken. Damage valued at $50.
Sept. 13
12:39 a.m. – Jeremey Ray Harris, 37, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree burglary, 4639 Main St. Officer located the male while assisting medics, who transported Harris to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital for medical clearance.
5:42 a.m. – Caller reported a male with a revolver standing outside screaming at his girlfriend, 300 W. Holley Road, Stonebrook Apartments. Officer unable to locate the reported activity and unable to get hold of the caller.
7:47 a.m. – Caller reported that a male was on McCool Millworks property, 1400 block of 18th. A camp was set up between Safeway and the McCool property. Officer contacted the caller, who said the subjects were climbing the fence on the north side. Male will return a call if there are further issues.
9:02 a.m. – Caller reported a motor home and trailer parked on the road for an extended period, 900 block of 3rd. The caller also reported that neighbors have a disabled vehicle in their driveway. Officer was unable to contact anyone at the motor home or residence. Officer contacted a responsible party later in the shift. The responsible party said the vehicle would be moved.
9:07 a.m. – Caller reported that she was walking her dog and a bull dog was chasing her trying to get her dog, 100 block of W. Holley Road. Officer contacted the caller. The dog was chasing several people in the area. Officer planned to try to locate the dog.
9:32 a.m. – Caller reported that someone got into his vehicle and went through it during the night, 1300 block of Hawthorne. Officer contacted the caller, who wanted the information noted and extra patrol as time allows.
9:32 a.m. – Caller reported a puppy running out in traffic, Long and Oak Terrace. Placed in kennel.
10:08 a.m. – Caller reported dogs barking nonstop, 2700 block of Kalmia. The caller said the dogs’ backyard is next to the park and the dogs go crazy when people are playing in the park. Officer drove through the area. No dogs were barking at the time.
10:19 a.m. – Dawn Marie Thompson, 29, arrested for failure to appear on original charge of menacing, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:37 a.m. – Caller reported that someone attempted to get into his vehicle, 1000 block of 7th. Items were found next to the vehicle. Report taken for attempted unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. Items seized.

7:24 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole a TV from her residence, 1600 block of Elm. Report taken. Loss valued at $350.
9:09 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into her vehicle, 1000 block of 7th. Report taken. Loss valued at $100. No damage to vehicle.
9:10 p.m. – Caller reported that someone was in her vehicle and broke the door handle, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Nothing was taken from the vehicle. Report taken.

12:20 a.m. – Chara Mae Tagen, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 43rd and Main. Cited and released.
9:20 a.m. – Two-vehicle crash, Wiley Creek and Main. Caller reported a truck crossing the line and hitting her. Report taken. No injuries. No citations. Damage less than $1,500.
12:23 p.m. – Kendra Lynne Montoya, 19, arrested for first-degree forgery, first-degree criminal possession of a forged document and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1501 Main St. Speedee Mart. Caller had reported subjects trying to pass a counterfeit bill.
12:41 p.m. – Robin David Fox, 27, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on a citation, 605 Elm St., Oak Heights Elementary. Cited and released.
1:05 p.m. – Caller reported that the manager asked subjects to leave a house and a female bit her on the hand, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken for fourth-degree assault. Medics checked the manager.
1:36 p.m. – Caller reported her credit card was taken and used, 2700 block of Kalmia. Caller was able to cancel the card before a loss. Information noted.
1:37 p.m. – Caller reported her food stamp card stolen, 1300 block of 47th. Caller left prior to officer arrival.
2:47 p.m. – Caller reported that while she was at a stop sign, a subject on a bike hit her vehicle, 2000 block of Main. Report taken for hit and run.
4:06 p.m. – Caller reported overgrown shrubs blocking a clear vision area for drivers, Evergreen and Highway 228. Referred to code enforcement.
5:14 p.m. – Caller reported that a female drank antifreeze, 1100 block of 43rd. Female transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics.
6 p.m. – Caller reported that a vehicle was parked in the turnout at Wiley Creek Park. The vehicle had all of its doors open, and a male was sleeping inside. Officer located the van and contacted the owner, who advised that he was sleeping there because he had nowhere else to stay and was doing work in town. Officer advised him to leave the premises before dark.
7:45 p.m. – Caller reported a male passed out in the middle of the roadway, 16th and Dogwood. Officer contacted an intoxicated male, who was able to walk home with assistance.
8:16 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole her mail, 300 block of 17th. Report taken. Loss valued at $25.
9:15 p.m. – Heather Renae Fagan, 26, arrested on Linn County warrants for providing false information to a police officer and probation violation on original charges of possession of meth and identity theft; Albany warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft; Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft; and Sweet Home warrant for providing false information to a police officer, 1540 Main St., Safeway. 8:24 a.m. – David James Kamarec, 21, arrested for second-degree burglary, 415 Holley Road, Church of the Nazarene. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male breaking into the building.
9:10 a.m. – Caller reported household furniture stacked on a porch in public view, 4900 block of Maple. Referred to code enforcement.
9:10 a.m. – Caller reported tall grass, 4900 block of Locust. Referred to code enforcement.
11:14 a.m. – Caller reported a stray dog, 18th and Kalmia. Officer unable to locate.
11:31 a.m. – Caller reported syringes in the brush, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer seized them for destruction. Officer also located clothes and placed them in found property.
12:35 p.m. – Caller turned in glasses he found in the 3200 block of Main. Placed in found property.
12:47 p.m. – Caller reported that a female came to his location asking why he did not show up to work, and the caller believed that violated a restraining order, 4610 Main St. Officer contacted the caller by phone. It was not a violation of a restraining order. He was advised to call back when the female returns so she can be trespassed.
1:02 p.m. – Caller reported marijuana plants growing in the backyard, 1100 block of 24th. Information noted. Caller planned to remove them.
4:15 p.m. – Caller reported her grandson’s bicycle was stolen from the front yard, 300 block of 7th. Report taken. Loss valued at $4.
4:42 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dog has barked nonstop for the past two years, 4500 block of Long. Officer unable to contact anyone at the residence. The dog was not in the yard. Officer left business card for the owner.
5:04 p.m. – Caller turned in a dog that had been hanging around, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Dog placed in kennel.
5:20 p.m. – Caller reported a dog in her backyard, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Placed in kennel.
6:44 p.m. – Caller reported her cell phone stolen from All-Star Pizza on Sept. 7. The phone was tracked to a Days Inn in Portland. Report taken. Loss valued at $49.99.
6:57 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle with a sign that said, “Don’t call the cops need a part,” parked in front of a residence, 4100 block of Osage. Officer unable to contact owner of vehicle. The owner may have been camping nearby. Vehicle posted for removal.
8:48 p.m. – Caller reported finding needles in a garbage can, 6300 block of Main. Officer disposed of the items.
9:06 p.m. – Caller found two dogs running loose, 400 block of Oak Terrace. One was very skinny, and the other looked healthy. Officer checked the dogs and found no sign of abuse or neglect. The caller agreed to hold the dogs until the owner is found.
