8:29 a.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 28000 block of Pleasant Valley.
11:12 a.m. – Caller reported that a male who had been trespassed from the location was seen harassing her birds during the morning, 4610 Main St. Officer unable to determine if the male was on the property. The male denied the complaint.
12:33 p.m. – Caller reported a naked male acting strangely, 800 block of Steelhead. Medics checked out the subject and released him to female friend who would watch over him.
2:09 p.m. – Caller turned in syringes found outside Safeway, 1540 Main St. Officer disposed of syringes.
6:11 p.m. – Jeremy Lee Ferebee, 38, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation and a new charge of possession of meth, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows.
8:25 p..m. – Brandon Earl Clark, 31, arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, Main and 40th. Cited and released.
Sept. 23
9 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked sideways in the parking lot, 1266 15th Ave., Wells Fargo. Boots were sitting on top of the vehicle. Officer contacted a male who was sleeping while waiting for the bank to open. The male was having issues with the vehicle and waiting for money to be transferred.
10:55 a.m. – Caller reported birds squawking again, 4610 Main St. Report taken. Owner of the bird was advised of the complaint.
12;14 p.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 1300 block of 53rd. A neighbor held onto the dog. The dog had chewed through his cable. Officer left a business card on the owner’s door.
12:58 p.m. – Caller reported that a male accused her of stealing his marijuana and hit her over the head with a broom stick, 4800 block of Main. The caller said she protected herself and hit him back. Officer responded. Male gone upon officer arrival. Female said it was mostly verbal with some physical. Not a mandatory arrest.
1:11 p.m. – Thomas Junior Hernandez, 53, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of driving while suspended, 1340 47th Ave. Cited and released.
1:57 p.m. – Caller reported a baby deer stuck in the playground, 605 Elm St., Oak Heights Elementary. The caller said its face was beat up from hitting the fence. Officer responded and disassembled a section of the fence, and the deer able to get out. Officer reassembled the fence.
5:07 p.m. – Caller reported birds squawking all day long, 4610 Main St. Information noted.
5:12 p.m. – David Paul Gruwell, 51, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 5401 Main St. Caller had reported a male laid out on a carpet and blanket. Officer contacted the male advised he could not sleep there.
5:59 p.m. – Caller reported birds are squawking, 4610 Main St. Dispatch advised the caller that two complaints had already been made and all would be forwarded.
7:27 p.m. – Oscar Junior Phillips, 46, cited for driving uninsured and driving while suspended, 18th and Willow. Vehicle impounded.
7:39 p.m. – Caller reported a dog had been in the area for about a week, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer unable to locate.
8:42 p.m. – Caller reported that a 10-inch light bar was stolen from his vehicle, 1300 block of Evergreen. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.
9:45 p.m. – Caller reported a dog barking for hours, 1300 block of Poplar. Officer contacted a subject who was outside smoking and had a dog. The subject planned to take it inside shortly.
11:02 p..m. – Caller reported dogs barking, 2900 block of Foothills. Officer contacted the owner, who advised that arrangements would be made for someone to put the dogs inside.
Sept. 22
2:07 a.m. – Caller reported that someone was trying to break into her vehicle and her boyfriend went after the subject, 5300 block of Main. Report taken.
2:49 a.m. – Coty Allan Carr, 27, arrested on two Linn County warrants for probation violation and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 1010 Red Barron Lane. Cited and released.
7:49 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, Mountain View and Kalmia. Officer unable to locate.
9:19 a.m. – Caller reports squatter camping down past the railroad tracks close to the river, 47th and railroad tracks.
8:30 a.m. – Caller reported a loose dog, 2600 block of Juniper. Prior to officer being dispatched, the owner picked up the dog. Officer found camp. Unable to locate subjects. Officer planned to check back later.
10:55 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of medication from the caller’s vehicle, 44900 block of Quartzville. Report taken.
1:11 p.m. – Ross Allen Scott, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.
5:24 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject living out of his car, which was parked in the entrance to the rodeo grounds, 4000 block of Long. Officer contacted the male, who was out of gas and planned to leave shortly.
5:58 p.m. – Gabrielle Kait Bern-hardt, 21, cited and released in field for third-degree theft in connection to a shoplifting report from Aug. 27, 42nd Avenue near the city Events Center.
8:27 p.m. – Caller reported a female going door to door, knocking on doors and then cussing out the owners, 1400 block of 53rd. Female left in a vehicle before officers arrived.
10:54 p.m. – Caller reported that his phone is missing and he believes it was stolen from his vehicle, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Information noted.
11:41 p.m. – Caller reported a male dropped toilet paper as he was riding on a bicycle, 1400 block of Main. Officer retrieved the item but was unable to locate the male. Safeway confirmed the items was not stolen.
Sept. 21
7:47 a.m. – Caller reported subjects sleeping in the bushes beside the church door, 845 6th Ave., Sweet Home United Methodist Church. Office unable to locate a male subject, but his cart was still at location. The caller asked police to advise the male that he cannot sleep there but can come for meals.
8:14 a.m. – Ryan Alden Crumel, 34, cited for driving while suspended, Hilltop Market.
9:47 a.m. – Caller found a syringe on the sidewalk, 16th and Elm. Officer disposed of syringe.
9:59 a.m. – Gary Gean Townsend, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Canby. Cited and released.
1:46 p.m. – Caller reported the neighbor’s birds were squawking again, 4610 Main St. Officer contacted the birds’ owner, who was previously referred to court for violating city ordinance with the birds.
2:22 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog barking, 4610 Main St. Officer responded but heard no dogs barking, but the caller’s birds were making noise. Information noted.
4:01 p.m – Caller turned in a dirty glass stem, 3100 block of Main. Officer disposed of the item.
4:48 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 43rd and Airport. She was unable to catch. Officer unable to locate. Officer spoke with a neighbor who stated the dog was posted on Facebook, and no one is able to catch it.
5 p.m. – Caller reported a male back under the cover of the church, 845 6th Ave., Sweet Home United Methodist Church. Officer responded. Male left prior to arrival.
Sept. 20
2:44 a.m. – Montana Baxter, 21, arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving in single-vehicle crash, 24700 block of Brush Creek. Cited and released. The driver had failed to negotiate a left curve in the road. The vehicle rolled onto its top. Baxter was uninjured. Vehicle towed from the scene.
9:55 a.m. – Caller reported a female with a restraining order against him came to his residence and tried to speak with him, 2400 block of Harding. Information noted.
11:55 a.m. – Caller reported the tags stolen from a license plate within the previous four days, 1900 block of Willow. Report taken.
1:18 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his unlocked pickup and stole tools and tow straps, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Loss valued at $370.
1:46 p.m. – Caller reported that she was a victim of a scam, 1100 block of 23rd. She was able to get her money back, but now the scammer has her Social Security number. Information noted.
1:50 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 8th and Alder. Officer unable to locate.
3:38 p.m. – Veronica Sue Szuch, 21, cited for possession of alcohol in city park and excluded from parks for the next 30 days, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Caller had reported approximately seven juveniles jumping around the stage and drinking alcohol. Officer located one subject in possession of alcohol.
3:57 p.m. – Caller reported that a female resident found drug paraphernalia and a stolen credit card, 1300 block of Sunset. Items seized.
4:06 p.m. – Bambi Jean Funk, 36, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence, 1701 9th Ave. Cited and released.
4:14 p.m. – Priscilla Denise Vanderark, 41, turned in herself on a charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
5:24 p.m. – Caller reported that he was struck by a vehicle in a crosswalk, 1100 block of Main. The driver got out of the vehicle and asked if he was OK. The caller denied any injury. Information noted.
6:47 p.m. – Jackie Harden, 21, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 38300 block of Crawfordsville Drive. Caller had reported a subject blocking traffic and stepping in front of vehicles on Crawfordsville Drive.
11:30 p.m. – Caller reported a large dog running around her yard, 1600 block of 12th. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.
Sept. 19
9:51 a.m. – Caller reported the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 51300 block of Quartzville. Report taken.
11:31 a.m. – Caller reported several dogs on the playground and they wouldn’t leave, 3205 Long St., Hawthorne Elementary. Officer was able to chase the dogs off of school property. Last seen headed north on Clark Mill.
11:53 a.m. – A Sweet Home Post Office employee turned in a phone found at the Post Office, 1303 Long St. Placed in found property.
1:09 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs running loose, 900 block of 31st. Dogs placed in kennel.
3:20 p.m. – Ariel Shanea Kaping, 24, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of theft of lost or mislaid property, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.
4:56 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs running loose, Long and 15th. Officer unable to locate.
Sept. 18
7:06 a.m. – Caller reported a loose pony near the road, 40600 block of Upper Calapooia. Deputy contacted owner, and the pony was returned.
7:11 a.m. – Caller reported that a female tried to break a counterfeit $100 bill, 3239 Main St., Midway Grocery. Report taken.
8:43 a.m. – Caller reported that his daughter works at Subway and had a call during the night from a subject claiming to work for the corporation, 900 block of 5th. The caller said the subject scammed her out of some money. Report taken. Loss valued at $551.95.
10:29 a.m. – Caller turned in a dog that wandered into her backyard, 28300 block of Highway 20. Dog placed in kennel, Animal Control notified and photo placed on Facebook.
10:35 p.m. – Caller reported that an employee was scammed out of money during the night, 2301 Main St., Taco Time. Loss valued at $461.90.
2:17 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog being allowed to run loose and defecate in the yard, 1700 block of 9th. Referred to code enforcement.
2:43 p.m. – Caller reported a firearm taken from a vehicle, 4800 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.
5:01 p.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 23, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 2454 Long St.
5:12 p.m. – Billy Dye, 56, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Eugene. Cited and released.
6:38 p.m. – Caller reported that a female tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill, 604 Main St., Dutch Bros. Vehicle left and headed east on Long Street. Report taken.
6:55 p.m. – Darrell George Berrigan, 45, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Albany. Cited and released.
6:57 p.m. – Nicholas Scot Warren, 37, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and Lincoln County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft and two counts of failure to appear and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1025 Long St., Bohemian Tavern. Cited and released.
8:52 p.m. – Dallas Andrew Samson, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 1000 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
10:09 p.m. – Raymon Wayne Littell, 41, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of negotiating a bad check, Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of possession of meth and driving under the influence and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.
