8:05 a.m. – Cody Michael Lobdell, 19, arrested for second-degree theft, 23rd and Ironwood. Cited and released.
8:25 a.m. – Caller reported that on Sept. 7, a vehicle hit several trees in his yard, 1200 block of 46th. He located the vehicle and wanted to talk to an officer. Officer responded. Information noted.
8:57 a.m. – Caller reported that someone ran over a stop sign, 43rd and Long. Report taken. Public Works advised.
10:02 a.m. – Caller reported that someone went through his van during the night, 1300 block of Nandina. Report taken. No damage and nothing missing.
10:20 a.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen vehicle.
12:11 p.m. – Veronica Sue Szuch, 19, arrested for theft by receiving. Cited and released.
Sept. 19
10:04 a.m. – Seventeen-year-old male taken into custody for first-degree theft, Sankey Park. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Department.
10:49 a.m. – Caller reported that someone took cardboard off a window and removed an air-conditioning unit to break into the house, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken. Loss valued at $800.
12:50 p.m. – Christina Marcella Marr, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Transported to Linn County Jail.
2:13 p.m. – Blake Andrew Martin, 22, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation, contempt of court and probation violation, 971 28th Ave.
3:18 p.m. – Caller reported a fence was destroyed during a theft that occurred in storage units, 4309 Main St. Report taken. Loss valued at $300.
4:52 p.m. – Caller reported a wallet and women’s clothing lying under a table, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Seized as found property.
5:46 p.m. – Caller reported finding a woman’s purse with belongings inside, Foster Lake. Seized as found property.
6:14 p.m. – Jimmie Lee Barton, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County. Transported to Linn County Jail.
6:29 p.m. – Caller reported a male selling fake shoes via Craig’s List, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.
8:31 p.m. – Caller reported a female sitting on the ground punching herself in the head, 400 block of W. Holley. Officer responded. Female was having mental issues but was not a police officer hold candidate at the time.
8:57 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a wallet from the caller’s porch, 1300 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $30.
10:29 p.m. – Caller reported a male left a backpack, 4804 Main St., Spoleto’s. Seized as found property.
Sept. 18
1:06 a.m. – Gilbert Alonzo Martinez, 39, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth, 18th near Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
12:35 p.m. – Caller reported a suspicious male stuck a baseball bat down his pants and covered it with his coat, 22nd and Ulex. Officer unable to locate.
2:29 p.m. – Caller reported fuel siphoned from a vehicle, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Loss valued at $50.
2:30 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject taking a bike and putting it over the fence, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. A worker caught him, and he left the bike and went into a different residence. Officer responded and seized the bicycle, frame and wheels and placed them in found property.
4:45 a.m. – Caller reported that a male subject continues to text her, and she has told him to stop several times, 1200 block of 44th. Officer contacted male and warned him for telephonic harassment.
5:05 p.m. – Multiple callers reported a fight among two males and a female, 1300 block of Nandina. Mutual fight. No one was injured. Female did not want to pursue charges. Male subjects were gone on arrival. Officer would be on the lookout for the males.
5:47 p.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male who was walking and fell, 1700 block of 11th. Officer located male and provided a non-custodial ride.
Sept. 17
2:57 a.m. – Caller reported her sister was at a friend’s house and believes she may be in danger, 3200 block of Main. Report taken for restraining order violation.
9:36 a.m. – Caller requested an officer dispose of old shotgun shells. Ammo seized for destruction.
10:43 a.m. – Caller reported a bike lying in the grass, 18th and Kalmia. Bike seized and placed in found property.
11:52 a.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was hit during the night, and he was not contacted, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.
3:15 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of her purse and cell phone, 1306 Main St., Main Street Market. Report taken. Loss valued at $103.
4:23 p.m. – Caller reported he rented a house from a male who was not the owner, and he took off with their money, 2200 block of Larch. The home owner gave the caller a 72-hour eviction notice. Officer responded and took a report for first-degree theft by deception. The owner arrived and agreed to let the caller stay until Oct. 1.
6:10 p.m. – Caller reported her bicycle stolen, 1100 block of 18th. Report taken. Loss valued at $50.
6:18 p.m. – Paul William Kalina, 40, arrested for offensive littering, Mountain View and Long. Cited, held for detox and released.
7:55 p.m. – Seventeen-year-old juvenile referred to Juvenile Department for harassment, 4600 block of Main. Released to parents. Caller reported that a female hit him in the face because he was talking to another female on Facebook.
8:55 p.m. – Robert Kristopher Johnson, 52, cited and released in the field on a Dallas warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to carry and present a license, 1283 44th Ave. Caller had reported neighbors fighting.
10:15 p.m. – Mark Daniel Peterson, 37, cited and released in field on a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation and Wendy Marie Volkers, 34, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, 1168 Second Ave. Caller had reported a neighbor’s father beating up the neighbor and the neighbor’s husband. Parties separated for the night.
11:44 p.m. – Officer located possible contraband on prisoner, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Investigation continuing.
Sept. 16
6:28 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle in the ditch, sharp curve near Valley View Drive. Sweet Home officer responded. No occupant or driver on the scene. Information passed along to Oregon State Police.
12:37 p.m. – Caller reported issues with the neighbors placing garbage in the caller’s garbage can, 1200 block of Nandina. Caller advised that the Police Department is working on the issue.
4:04 p.m. – Porterville Police Department forwarded a report regarding a CenturyLink account opened in a female’s name, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Investigation continuing.
4:20 p.m. – Caller reported that someone took his phone and wallet, 1700 block of 11th. Report taken. He had set them down while playing basketball.
5:17 p.m. – Caller reported that someone killed her mother’s cat, 1100 block of First. When she left for work, the cat was alive. Later she found the deceased cat on her doorstep. No proof of who killed the cat, but the caller wanted a male subject trespassed from the property if the officer can locate him.
5:47 p.m. – Caller reported a bicycle taken, and a bicycle that does not belong to him was left on the property. 400 block of E. Holley. Report taken. Loss valued at $40. Second bicycle placed in property shed.
7:35 p.m. – Marv Dean Cox, 47, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle, 510 W. Holley Road.
8:30 a.m. – Caller reported that someone ran an extension cord across the street, and people were driving over it, 1100 block of 42nd. Officer contacted a female who was using electricity from a vacant house to get her children ready for school. She unplugged the cord and said she wouldn’t do it again.
Sept. 15
7:46 a.m. – Caller reported several packets from the Oregon Lottery are missing, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,600.
8:02 a.m. – Rhett Jarimiah Tucker, 19, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct.
1:09 p.m. – Caller reported a possibly counterfeit $50 bill, 2405 Main St. Officer responded. The bill looked legitimate but would return it to the bank for verification.
4:12 p.m. – Caller reported a motor home in the ditch, 4000 block of Long. No injuries. No citations. Vehicle towed from ditch.
4:19 p.m. – Caller reported a garbage can stolen, 1200 block of Main. Report taken.
5:46 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen vehicle and returned it to the owner.
7:07 p.m. – Keith Allen Smith, 51, arrested on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, Lebanon. Cited and released.
9:38 p.m. – Caller reported numerous vehicles parked on the street longer than 24 hours, and a male subject has been doing mechanical work on them at night causing a lot of noise, 1100 block of Poplar. Officer responded. No vehicles were parked on the street near the residence. Officer contacted homeowner and advised of the complaint. The owner said he would be more careful of the times when he works on vehicles.
9:38 p.m. – Caller reported a rooster in the area crowing at 4 a.m. every morning, 12th and Poplar. Officer advised and would be on the lookout.
Sept. 14
2:15 p.m. – Caller reported subjects living in an RV and feces left to pile up, 4000 block of Osage. Officer responded. Negative contact at this time.
2:23 p.m. – Caller reported garbage cans left at the curb year round and weeds growing, 4000 block of Osage. Officer contacted homeowner. Owner took care of garbage cans.
2:26 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle that has not moved since February parked on the street, 4000 block of Osage. Officer responded. Negative contact at this time.
3:03 p.m. – Caller reported a needle in the bark dust, 500 block of Sixth. Officer responded and disposed of needle.
3:28 p.m. – Raymon Wayne Littell, 39, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree forgery, Lebanon. Cited and released.
3:57 p.m. – Andrea Joyce Ashby, 34, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer and a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of unauthorized departure and probation violation, Towne Pump. Cited and released.
7:51 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.
