Quartzville rescue

According to a Sheriff’s Office report, Stephenson and a younger relative, who was not named, were riding a Can-Am style ATV early on the afternoon of July 9 when they hit some rocks on a curve, flipped the ATV and tumbled over the edge. Though they were wearing helmets, both were injured when they were thrown from the vehicle. Stephenson suffered spleen injuries and several fractured bones. She was taken to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital and then on to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. Information on where the younger passenger was taken was unavailable.
