Rachel Morgan (Teague) Kittson, 25, of Albany died Jan. 24, 2011.
She was born July 12, 1985 in Parkridge, Ill., to Ronald Wayne Teague and Sandra Beth Teague. She was raised in Hesperia, Calif.
Mrs. Kittson was inducted into the U.S. Army on March 15, 2005. She was honorably discharged on June 16, 2008. She served as an automated logistical specialist CRS in military education.
She received the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon.
During her service in the Army, she lived in New York and North Carolina. She moved to Oregon in 2008 and settled in the Albany and Sweet Home areas, with her husband, Kevin Kittson.
She spent a lot of time hiking and being outdoors. She was a clerical engineer at Eplore Talent.
She was a Christian.
Mrs. Kittson enjoyed scrapbooking and various arts and crafts. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Kittson is survived by her husband Kevin Kittson of Albany, father Ronald Wayne Teague of Hesperia, California, mother Sandra Beth Teague of Apple Valley, California, mother-in-law Kathy Seavey of Sweet Home; brothers Tyler Teague of Hesperia, Calif., and Chance Teague of Apple Valley, Calif.; sisters Lacey Peterson and Amy Seavey, both of Sweet Home, and Ali Casaretto of San Carlos, Calif.
A memorial service will be held from 1 p.m. 3 p.m. on March 5 at the Sweet Home VFW Hall.
