Rachel Fannie Vogel, 100, of Sweet Home died just before midnight on June 28, 2017.
She was born Feb. 9, 1917 in Sweet Home to William and Fanny Mealey (pronounced May-Lee), the youngest of six children.
She graduated in 1934 from Sweet Home Union High School, after which she attended Oregon College of Education in Monmouth.
