Re: race. The white race brought Africans/slavery to America (land of the free), refused to follow through with repatriation, enacted anti-literacy laws and have mercilessly discriminated against them in every conceivable form and in every aspect of their lives f-o-r-e-v-e-r.
They are what they are because of centuries of living under your endless impositions.
This is your Frankenstein.
You’ve had since 1865 to reconcile with these people, to fold them into American society as equals, but you’ve refused.
If you had been slapped down and slapped down and slapped down all your life, violently, legally and hatefully, dehumanized, generation after generation after generation, living in fear, with no legal recourse, therefore no control over your situation, no protections, you’d be the same.
And because of your d–n forever war with these people, we – all –have had to live in fear of each other.
