He was born Feb. 6, 1936 in Holdenville, Okla., to Ralph Woodrow and Ruby Irene (Blackwell).
Mr. Cornish moved to Sweet Home from Enid, Okla., after the death of his wife of 46 years, Joyce Ann (Sparks) Cornish.
He worked and retired from the Enid Fire Department, beginning as a firefighter and advancing to the staff position…
