Ralph Gilbert Groat, 85, died Jan. 22, 2016 at his home from complications of leukemia.
He was born Sept. 4, 1930 in Cottage Grove.
He met and married his wife Donna in 1954.
Mr. Groat was an avid outdoorsman, whose passion was hunting, fishing and camping. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all, and shared his love of the outdoors with his family.
