Sweet Home Ranger District’s front reception desk will not be open on weekends this summer, the U.S. Forest Service has announced.
All offices are prioritizing field-going summer staff who fight fire, maintain facilities and trails, and offer other visitor services. Alternative locations to obtain permits and visitor information, such as local businesses, are being considered.
