The Sweet Home Police Department is investigating a series of tagging on July 5 and may have suspects.
“It is something we’re actively investigating,” said Sgt. Jeff Lynn. Police were able to develop leads and potential suspects, and they should have people visible on video.
Sweet Home had six reports of graffiti that day, Lynn said. Among the locations for the graffiti were Sweet Home Sanitation, Sweet Home High School, the Sweet Home Public Library and Main Street Market #2, 1306 Main St.
Police don’t know whether the graffiti is connected to two incidents last month, including the tagging of the new mural of a police car.
This graffiti appears to be connected with some kind of music group, a band-associated acronym.
