Raymond “Ray” Henry Davis, Jr., 84, of Sweet Home, died May 5, 2023.
He was born June 12, 1938, in Burgdorf Hot Springs, Idaho, the son of Raymond H. and Roma (Barns) Davis, Jr.
Mr. Davis came to Sweet Home in 1969, moved to Astoria in 1975, and back to Sweet Home in 1983. He started working, cutting and peeling redwoods with his dad and grandfather in California. His main job was as a spreader…
