Raymond Allen Ryan, 71, died on June 6, 2008 in Central Point.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Penn., the son of Robert Franklin Ryan and Anna Margret Walker.
He was a graduate of Sweet Home High School and O&I, associate’s degree in body and fender.
He married Rose Marie Hanna on June 27, 1959 in Pendleton.
He served in the Army from 1959 to 1962.
He worked at Willamette Industries.
He enjoyed woodworking, traveling and camping.
Mr. Ryan is survived by his wife, Rose Ryan; children; Melinda Phillips, Cynthia Ryan-Duke and Catherine Ryan; brother, Robert Franklin Ryan Jr.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private service was planned.
