Raymond W. Wood, 82, of Sweet Home, died peacefully April 15, 2019 of multiple organ failure to end a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
He was born Oct. 17, 1937 in Toledo to Ernest and Hazel Wood, of Sweet Home.
Mr. Wood served in the Oregon National Guard from 1959 to 1967.
He retired from Willamette Industries Foster Division in 1999 with 40 plus years of service. He…
