I am writing in response to the Nov. 16 article in The New Era, “Man Arrested for Poaching.” For the record, I was not “arrested for poaching.” I was cited for shooting a deer and allowing someone else to tag the animal. I take full responsibility for my actions and am willing to accept fair punishment by the court of law.
