Regina Coughran

Nov. 6, 1931 – May 23, 2006

Regina Catherine Coughran, 74, of Sweet Home, died May 23, 2006 at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

She was born Nov. 6, 1931 in Utica, N.Y., the daughter of Angelo and Josephine (Rivard) Percola.

She moved to Sweet Home in 1947. She married James Graham, Sr. in Washington in 1954; they later divorced. She married George Coughran in Arkansas in 1976. He died away in 1999.

Mrs. Goughran enjoyed being a housewife and a mother. She later worked in several restaurants in the Lebanon/Sweet Home area. She also worked as a park attendant at Moonshine Park near Siletz for 23 years, where she was known as “Moonshine Mama.” She loved bowling, and had belonged to a bowling team in Sweet Home for many years.

She attended the Sweet Home Evangelical Church.

Mrs. Coughran is survived by her daughter, Maureen Martin and her husband Jan of Sweet Home; three sons, James Graham, Jr. and his wife Betty of Lebanon, Alan Graegham and his wife Meg of Vancouver, Wash., and Herman Walter Graham of Ontario; eight step-children, Timmon, Virginia, Betty, Joanne, Sherry, Joyce, Tony and Roger; a brother, Angelo Percola, Jr. of Tucson, Ariz .; a sister, Rosemary Finley of Sweet Home; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Coughran; two sons, Patrick and David Graham; a step-son, David Coughran; and her parents.
