Richard Thomas “Dick” Bixby, 71, of Lebanon died on May 8, 2007.
He was born in Founce, Minn., on March 29, 1936.
He lived in the Lebanon and Sweet Home areas for several years before recently moving to Woodburn to live with his daughter. He had worked for a number of years as a truck driver and had been self-employed in the trucking industry for several years.
He was an Air Force veteran, a member of the American Legion post in Sweet Home and a member of the Elks.
Prior to being a truck driver, he worked as a police officer in Williams, Minn.
He is survived by his caregiver and ex-wife, Keitha Little of Woodburn; daughter, Sheila Caudle of Woodburn; brother, Bill Bixby of Post Falls, Idaho; sister, Gladys Palmquist of Myrtle Creek; son, Rickie Hintz of Hanford, Calif.; stepdaughter, Carlin Norlin of E. Riverfalls, Minn.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
