Richard Lee Walker, 14, of Sweet Home, passed away at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland Saturday, April 15.
He was born in Lebanon to Richard and Sharon (Williams) Walker in 1991.
Richard lived in Sweet Home his entire life. He loved movies, hamburgers, fishing and watching “The Crocodile Hunter.” He loved everyone and was always ready with a high five or a handshake.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Sharon Walker of Sweet Home; his Grandpa and Grandma Nies of Sweet Home; a brother, Kenny Blacketer of Salem; and sisters, Sharon Miller of Moreno Valley, Calif. and Cindy Jones of Sweet Home.
A viewing will be held Monday April 24 from 9 a.m. to noon at Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel, with services following at 2 p.m. at The Community Chapel. Final interment will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
