Richard Kirk

Richard Otis Kirk, 73, of Sweet Home, passed away March 9, 2026.
He was born Nov. 25, 1952, in Myrtle Point to Ena Winown (King) and John Edward Kirk.
He lived in the coastal areas of Bandon, Sitkum and in Sweet Home. Richard worked as a cabinet maker, farmer, and was a volunteer firefighter.
He enjoyed reading, liked writing, doing art and loved to listen to music.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Mae Kirk (Tim Counts) and Emma Kirk (Joel); two grandchildren and his brother, John David Kirk.
He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Kirk (2025).
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements
