He was born Feb. 8, 1965 in Ceres, Calif., to Chester and Arvilla (Blagg) Gray.
He was raised in Denair, Calif. and moved to Sweet Home 11 years ago.
Mr. Gray worked on state contracts, repairing bridges, until 2009.
