Jake Riggs was named the Most Outstanding Golfer at the golf team’s awards dessert May 25.
Riggs, a senior, led the team throughout the year in scoring and, along with sophomore Mike Fontenot, qualified for the state 4A championships. Riggs placed 54th and Fontenot was 82nd at state.
Cody Daniels was named Top Newcomer.
Riggs was the lone four-year letterman for the boys. Senior Tana Tyler was awarded her fourth letter for the girls team.
