Robert Paul Harer, 82, of Sweet Home, died March 29.
He was born Dec. 25, 1926 in Phoenix, Ariz. When his father died, he took over the responsibility of helping his mother, Thelma, and five younger siblings.
Mr. Harer served in the Army briefly. He had many types of jobs from soda jerk to log truck owner/driver.
