Roberta M. Olson
Roberta M. Olson, 77, passed away on August 1, 2024, after having bravely fought stage IV lung cancer. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Joseph S. Muhr and Gabrielle M. (Scharf) Muhr in 1947. After spending her childhood and young adulthood in Illinois her adventurous spirit took her to Sweet Home. Bobbie cultivated a new family there and made some very special friends.
She reveled in nature, gardening, and her love of animals. Her cat, Tweeters, has been adopted by Melissa Tirrell. Her beloved dog, Roxy, has a loving home with Sandy Kline. Roberta’s old family would like to thank, especially, Melissa, Janet Quinn, and all of her new family, who did good things with and for her.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Richard (Karen) Muhr of Hoffman Estates, II. and their six children and fourteen grandchildren and her sister, Grace and son of Cumming, Georgia.
Roberta’s Celebration of life took place September 7, 2024 at Cascadia Park, Cascadia.
