The Northwest Professional Rodeo Association presented the Calapooia Rodeo Committee with a Committee Appreciation Award last week.
“They like us,” Rodeo Committee President Dick Coffin grinned.
“They give one to several committees,” Coffin said. “It’s an award by the cowboys to let committees know they’re thankful for us putting on the rodeo for them.”
It recognizes that without rodeo committees, there wouldn’t be rodeos for the cowboys to compete in, Coffin
