Rollie Christianson, 67, of Sweet Home passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at his home.
He was born on in Mankato, Minn., to Selmer and Grace Christianson. He graduated from high school in Bagley, Minn.
Mr. Christianson married his wife, Kathy, in 1981 in Sweet Home.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Christianson was a garage door installer for many years and then went to work at Stover Evey & Jackson in Corvallis as a “Maytag Man.”
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Sweet Home.
Mr. Christianson enjoyed being with his great- grandchildren; spending time at the lake; and most of all, visiting the ocean.
He loved football and enjoyed playing fantasy football with Kathy and his friend, Marty, who passed this summer, along with anyone who would join in.
The Superbowl will not be the same without him, and the Vikings lost their best (only) fan!
Mr. Christianson is survived by his sons, Donald Ames of Sweet Home and Glen Christianson; daughters, Debbie Prather of Sweet Home and Suzy Olson Christianson; sisters, Audrey Lerum, Ruth Berg and Joan GalBraithe, all of Minnesota; brother, Walter Christianson; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sisters Mary Keller and Joyce GalBraithe.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Nov. 26, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Sweet Home.
