Ronald Allen Wolfe

Ronald Allen Wolfe, 72, of Sweet Home passed away peacefully Nov. 24, as family gave thanks for the love he brought into their lives.

He was born July 14, 1950, in Woodburn to Richard and Anna Wolfe, and resided most of his life in Sweet Home.

He was an avid outdoorsman, wood worker, loved to be in the wilderness hunting, fishing, hiking.

He was involved in the timber industry, working for a few logging companies in the area in his earlier years before starting his own company in the industry with his wife Linda until he retired.

His love for the outdoors, wildlife and fixing things that were broken will be his family’s fondest memories, thanks to the many hikes through miles of blackberry bushes to unknown lakes and mines.

If you knew Ron, then you were aware that these hikes were a rite of passage and a day best spent in his company.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda; their three children, son Troy Wolfe and his wife Carlyn and their two sons, Kendal and his wife Kristen, and Jared; daughter Katie and her husband Kenny Kittson; and son Richard Wolfe and his two children, Ronald Vance and Justin; brother Keith Sr.; sister Sharon; and his dear friends, Bob and Wendy Wyatt and their family.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother, father and beloved sister Patty Anne.

Family has decided there will be no services at this time and will have a small gathering in the spring at one of Ron’s favorite spots with close family and friends.

Ron would have asked for no donations, but to pay your kindness forward to someone in need.
